Hi everyone i want to create a rom for galaxy 3, i want this rom be like a gingerbread so i need app's apk from nexus s, nexus one or Cyanogen users. I'm looking for the dialer's apk, the contact's apk, the message's apk first and the other if you can.

If you want to develop for galaxy 3 tab. You should try the galaxy 3 development section.

I just updated my G2 using the .zip file from this link:

So far it's really good, but it doesn't have the Nexus S Live Wallpaper... It still has the old Nexus Live Wallpaper. That really bugs me.
And you would think that since they advertise "Gingerbread coming to G2" with the Nexus S Live Wallpaper on the pic that it would come loaded with it.

men here i'm trying to find apps from gingerbread to put it into rom for G3 not for g2...
but if you have originals apps from gingerbread ....

I know I am prolly in the minority but I HATE those kiddie looking lockscreens and the whole crayola crayon box that is touchwiz! Makes android look cheap as hell to me.
But, thats only my opinion and having said that... it would be cool to see if someone could pull it off for you guys.

You could just download magic locker from the market and be done???
You need the magic locker main and then the samsung theme for puzzle there is also some other themes for it as well.

Has anyone successfully installed the SGS LWP's?
I'm especially looking for the Aurora Live Wallpaper.
The only method I see is downloading the signed LWP zip file and going into recovery and unzipping it.
But I don't how safe that is and what could happen. So I'm checking in with you guys to see if it's been accomplished.

I ran across this one day, and i liked it since my phone used to run 2.2.1 until i got a custom rom. The launcher is fast, smooth, elegant, and takes up a small amount of ram. I liked it and I would like to share it with the community, this should work with all phones.

Like I said this is pure stock, I did not make this, I'm working on getting the gingerbread and ice launcher, I'll get the stock gb launcher, the ics launcher will be a port from cyanogenmod 9 and it might need root access for Widgets.

No it is not, it is really close to the real thing, but its not as smooth and on the stock one if u long press on the dots showing what screen u on, it will show screen previews.

ok, if your phone is rooted, use a root explorer, or ES file manager (in the settings set mount root) and push the app to system / app
please tell me the version of android you have. if its JB idk if it will work. i have jb on my thrive but haven't tried it out yet.

there's actually an apk I just installed it today lol here's the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061883 the download links are on the bottom of the first post get all 3 apk's (tw4manager key and shareapp) then just install them on the phone. no need install anything or go into CWM. you can even download them straight from the stock phone browser. Follow the first link using your phone, go to the first page, first comment, download the file called tw4manager apk at the bottom by clicking it. When your phone asks do you want to install the package ? Pick system install and allow permission then when that's done click the homebutton and you should have tw4 on your galaxy s 4g
