Has anyone successfully installed the SGS LWP's?
I'm especially looking for the Aurora Live Wallpaper.
The only method I see is downloading the signed LWP zip file and going into recovery and unzipping it.
But I don't how safe that is and what could happen. So I'm checking in with you guys to see if it's been accomplished.
Phone: Google Nexus S
OS Version: 2.3.2
Not roooted (But I don't think that matters cause I've installed Live Wallpapers without being rooted)
Really? No answers? I would have been sure that some of you would be interested as well. Or at least figured out a way by now.
I would be happy to try if someone gave me the apk.

I've uploaded the only one I could find on XDA.
Didn't work but I would try going to the sgs section and ask for the apks there.

Hi everyone i want to create a rom for galaxy 3, i want this rom be like a gingerbread so i need app's apk from nexus s, nexus one or Cyanogen users. I'm looking for the dialer's apk, the contact's apk, the message's apk first and the other if you can.

If you want to develop for galaxy 3 tab. You should try the galaxy 3 development section.

I just updated my G2 using the .zip file from this link:

So far it's really good, but it doesn't have the Nexus S Live Wallpaper... It still has the old Nexus Live Wallpaper. That really bugs me.
And you would think that since they advertise "Gingerbread coming to G2" with the Nexus S Live Wallpaper on the pic that it would come loaded with it.

men here i'm trying to find apps from gingerbread to put it into rom for G3 not for g2...
but if you have originals apps from gingerbread ....

So I've seen from my friends stock kindle that hulu plus is available from the Amazon app store for the fire. But when you have a custom rom it's not available from the app store but is from the market and that app unfortunately doesn't allow you to do anything but log in and browse. I've used both the portrait and landscape modded apks available on xda ,but they haven't been updated in months and the landscape one is especially jangy (missing thumbnails,etc). Hulu updated their app a few days ago and it looks gorgeous on my kindle..it just doesn't work. My rom like most others masquerades as a galaxy nexus and apparently they don't support that model so my question is..will changing my build prop back to a fire work? I'm guessing probably no but I thought I'd ask.

Yea i see it in the market too and it downloads and installs fine..but it only lets you login and browse.

Yep..and it "works" its just that it hasn't been updated since Feb..the landscape mod is missing thumbnails and the portrait one is just that..portrait. The one from the market is light years ahead of both of those apks and I just wish I knew how to mod this new apk so it used the same checks as his modded apks.

I can honestly say that neither of the cracked Hulu+ apps work for me on my KF anything we can do to help with a new version?
Actually, try installing Adfree and choosing "Revert", it fixed it on my kf

the Adfree app above didn't work for me. I searched the xda forums and found the instructions below. I followed the instructions and it worked (I can search and watch tv episodes). I have a KF with running ICS Energy ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528024).

2. Delete any backups you may have of it in Titanium Backup.
3. Get Titanium Backup if you don't already have it.

5. Place all 3 files in the sdcard/TitaniumBackup folder
6. Launch Titanium Backup and restore the backup.

I don't remember, but it's probably an older release since the original XDA thread was from Jan 2012.
I used to have S Memo on my stock rom I got on my Galaxy S III but I flashed Cyanogemod 9 on it. I lost all my stock apps and I'm OK with that, cuase I got a working apk for S Voice, but I could not get S MEMO.
I tried downloading apks and the /system files (I just put them in the folder and rebooted my phone) but no results. When I instal the apks it says "Application Not Installed" . Can anyone please help me.

Hey guys. The title is a little weird but I just wasn't sure how to word it.
Recently beautiful widgets has updated their whole system. And I really don't like the new version at all. Thankfully I had just backed up my rom before I updated it so I just restored it back to what I had.
Here comes the question part. Can I take my currently running beautiful widgets apk (non updated) so that if I ever accidentally update it I can revert back to how I like it. Also if I did this could I install the same apk on my galaxy tab 2 and have it work fine?

-Backup the old apk on your sdcard. Most file managers can do this; otherwise copy it from /data/app.
-Turn off automatic updating for the app.
Sideloading on your Note would be simple, but there's no telling how it would work until you do it.
Titanium can do this too

Do you know what the application is called? That might help someone find it.
Sounds like stock mms, but if your running custom Rom then touchwiz frame work dependant stuff aint going to do it for you

I saw it on my dad's Skyrocket. On my old captivate it was called im.apk but I have not found anything like it.
