is there any tpu rubber feel case for the samsung epic 4g.
Just like the amzer tpu cases.
Did you ask yourself this question before posting it? Think about it. It's a sliding mechanism. Have you ever seen a TPU case for a slider phone? No.
Think about the way it works... Now apply common sense and try to figure out how it would work on the Epic. GL.
I have found a rubber case for both my Epic and my Moment
It was at a generic booth that sold phone stuff in one of the local malls
Basically, there is a plastic piece on each end that slides to allow the kb to open.
It saved my GF's moment many times as she is a dropper, ROFL!
Wish I could be more helpful, but I do know they exist.
thanks dcrocks, but can you send me a link to where i can find it?

Anyone have this case? Have an EVO and wondering if I should watch for them to make an EVO case. I really want a polycarbonate case, one of the only ones I could find.

I have the Seidio Innocase II combo with Belt clip holder.
I'm going to buy this and check it out, hopefully it fits the spring clip holder.
I ordered this a few days ago. Ill let you know when I get it. If this works the way I want it to, this should be one of, if not the thinnest nexus case to date.

Doesn't look like it offers much protection to the top and bottom of the phone though.

I received mine a couple days ago. Totally bummed out about it. Doesn't snap on firmly on the sides and is loose. I had to improvise and apply some double-sided tape in it so the phone doesn't pop out of the case. Its not THAT loose but again its not firmly snapped on in there to the point where I feel comfortable with it.
I have the seido innocase II as well and I like it a lot better except for the fact that it slightly bubbles up my screen protector where the edges overlap (I have this OCD of flawlessness and it drives me nuts).
Im looking into purchasing a leather case, but im curious if the magnet in the case can have any effect on the phone? Especially the ones in the cheap cases.
like this one... ( i cant post link)
so type
Leather Case Skin for Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4G Sprint in the ebay search box and it should come up.
If anyone has any recommendations for other leather cases please let me know. Also feel free to share your experiences with leather cases.
Thank You

Havent had a problem, use a leather magnetic case from eddie bauer that I found at Best Buy mobile.
Does anybody have or use the Seidio leather case for the epic? Just wondering how well it fits the phone or how well the phone slides in and out of it. Also how easily can the magnet be clamped and unclamped while not looking at it.
I bought the bestsources (seller's name, not necessarily a description, though I've had good experiences with them ) case -- I had one for my Touch Pro, one for my N900, and now one for my Epic when it gets here.
In the meantime, I'm using the N900's case for it. Fitting, since I usually used the Touch Pro's case for the N900... :/ I wonder if I'm even going to use the Epic's case.
The magnet hasn't caused any problems at all with the Epic that I've noticed.

The leather case is designed to fit a bare device so it will slide in/out smoothly, The magnet is pretty strong but works fluently with the case.
The magnet does not affect the phone.
I bought a leather holster at the Sprint store today actually.
It has a magnet, but it is not near as strong as some of the ones I have had in the past, but it still holds the flap strong against the case.
This particular case even has the Galaxy S logo etched into the metal in the middle of the flap - yeah its sexy.
$34 at Sprint, and since its Galaxy S Branded, I think it's a good deal.
For work purposes, I wold like to have a leather holster that can accommodate my Epic that has a Best Buy platinum case. Thanks!
I've also been searching for a side pouch/case that will hold my Epic with a case on it, but I haven't had any luck. I have the $20 Sprint Protective cover on my Epic.

Just as an fyi the best buy case is nothing but a seido case. While I can't specifically help you anything forthe seido case will work for the best buy case.

I haven't been able to find one that will fit. Why not just buy a leather case for work and take off your platinum case? This is just my preference, but on days when I need a more "professional" look at work, I take my hard case off and use the Samsung Galaxy S leather case with my naked Epic (http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/ET-OCTSBLNBBCC). Then when I have those days when Im doing something more physical and need better protection the hardcase goes back on. In my opinion, the Epic looks better naked anyways.
I have the Galaxy S leather case and be warned the epic fits very snuggly in it. Heck that link in the post above mine, I typed in epic 4g to test compatibility with the case and they say the epic is not compatible with that case (even though sprint is pushing it). It is to the point where I am thinking about trying the seidio leather case to see if it fits better. I am kinda worried because the seidio case seems like it might be a generic case not specifically cut for our phone.
So yea, I have the leather galaxy s case and I am still looking for a better leather hip holster solution.

I'm with Masterface - same situation. Epic is VERY snug in Galaxy S case and makes it difficult to pull out easily sometimes.
Anyone find a good working leather case? I really miss my blackberry case where you slide the phone in bottom first, lets you grip on each side to get it in and out.
If one doesn't come up soon I may go for the Body Glove belt-clip/swivel/stand/case. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=827717
Has anyone tried the Body Glove case with kickstand? I can't post the link as a new user but it can be found on the Bodyglove.com website under Mobile and Epic 4G. I would really like a case with an integrated kickstand (one thing I still envy the EVO for). I've got the Sprint case just to keep my Epic protected, but I would like a higher quality product.
I'm not sure I'm a fan of the textured case, and it's a little pricey at $29.99. Hoping someone who has it can give me their take on whether it was a good buy.
looks like the kickstand is in the clip, not the case. They sell the clip seperate for 4.95, I wonder if it will fit on other cases? Anyone own one that can check it out?
You're not gonna provide us with a link to see what you are talking about?

I really would prefer if people actually read my posts before replying.
Thank you luis12285 for providing the link.
That looks like a nice case and the belt-clip/stand is sorta innovative combo. I'd really be interested to see if anyone else has used one or had their hands on one. I ordered the Body Glove case for my wife from Sprint.com accessories, but don't think its this model with the belt clip and kickstand.
Thanks for sharing this guys! Wasn't aware of it and definitely interested!
Looks interesting, but body glove cases for other phones I've handled in store are on the bulky side, and this one appears to be the same comparing the photos online to my sprint case.
I got the Body Glove case from Sprint Accessories and was really disappointed with the quality of construction. Sending it back. Went to to Best Buy and got the Platinum "quick clip" case with swivel holster. Keeps the screen safe against a felt lined holster. A little bulky, but better than scratching my baby!

Yeah I wouldnt go with the "Body Glove" on such a high end prestigious phone. I work in a foundry and have a Nokia 5800 (or something along those lines, crappy little flat phone.) that i use there because of all the sand/heat/oil that i'm around at work. I wouldn't dare expose my epic to sand/metal shavings! So I take the Nokia. It had a body glove on it.
The case lasted a few good months and then started to fall apart. Peices of connecting clips broke, leaving it floppy on one side of the phone, the "grip" stuff on the back of the phone is very grippy and feels nice, but unfortunatly it too peels off and away after a while. It's a very neat design of a case, but it just dosen't hold up. Just my 2 cents.
Hey all,
ive been trying some of the best cases out there for my SGS including PDair, Case-Mate Though, TPU, SGP and some other cheap onens..
(the SGP one actually claims to be an anti slip material but got nothing to support it..)
Some of them have a great design, othere are very protective but non have the feature im realy looking for which is what called 'Anti-Slip'. most of my IPod cases for example had that ability in them. a simple silicone that that helps your device not slip from your hands.
Does anyone knows about any silicone case that have this?
Thanks!
Have you ever tried gel type cases - they feel like rubber and very grippy

I saw it before on some IPhones and didnt like its touch feeling very much. also, i think its too hard to provide a good protection..
btw, please also forgive me for any wrong word selection, english is not my mother lang
Hi there...
Did you already saw this one??
Samsung Galaxy S Commuter Series Case from OTTERBOX
Do a search on Youtube to see review...
I can't post any links yet...
I have one just like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/Samsung-Vibrant-Galaxy-S-I9000-Genuin-Mesh-Case-Red-/320605390228
Surf around and you might find a slightly better deal, but make sure its that same one. It has a very rubbery feel which doesnt slip at ALL, i loved it. Only thing is that it doesnt offer much protection from falls.
the cheapest safest option is to just put some industrial tape around your hand and stick your phone to it
this way your phone will never slip and is always in your hand.... you dont need to waste time searching your pockets ..
but the only downside i have is i have to wipe my rear with my left hand now

Seriously?! What do you do to have such slippery hands? On second thought, don't answer that
I have a Case-Mate Tough Case and that's not only "rubbery", but also very structured giving a VERY good grip. In fact, I had problems getting it in and out of my pocket, which annoyed me so much I gave it up.
If the Case-Mate Tough wasn't grippy enough, superglue is the only option (or duct tape if you're going for the not-so-permanent option)
Go get some skateboard Grit Tape. Guaranteed non slip...
