Will Vibrant accessories fit SGS4g? - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Might be a stupid question but just wanted to make sure before I buy this 3500 mah extended battery. Hard finding.accessories for the.4g but tons for the vibrant. So will the vibrant extended battery work?

The Batt will work, others have confirmed, I have never tried. Other accessories will work also. The only thing you will run into is some cases do not have the hole for the front facing camera.

Cool sounds good. Thanks.

Seidio Extended Battery

Hi.. this is for sale on Ebay. What you think, worth to buy?
Its a Seidio 1600 ma battery that fits in without new back cover... £28...
###Edit### I checked Seidio's website and theres no battery for Desire... so this must be for Nexus One. Just wonder they really are 100% compatible? ##
T-mobile promised to send me a new one, but they are out of stock so they refunded my accounr with £20 to buy one on my own. Not sure if this one is good/safe etc...(?)
Thanks

Seems good 'on paper'. But I never understood why a phone's manufacturer wouldn't supply a device with the highest capacity possible (with the same size) unless it had 'adverse' effects on something, no matter how small.

Keep cost down, like not providing a case or docking station.
Just wonder how much more would the +200 mah do. Seidio seems to be a known brand though - also if it is for Nexus - is it really the same battery?
It does look as though the battery for the Desire is the same as for the Nexus One. Both seem to quote part number BA S410 tor the standard battery.
Tested it - I tried the Seidio Nexus One in the Desire and it works perfectly.
So whats the battery life like then? Is a 14% increase going to be noticed?
What would be great is two batteries in parallel covered by a skin with no back plate!

TBH id want one of these

Wow seems like the 3200 has amazing battery life but everyone is complaining about the back cover.
Im sure this would work fine in the desire - just need a skin which will cover it without the backplate on at all but with lens cover and we are all sorted!
you know what?? i need clarity on extended life battery so bear with me. Does this go ontop of normal battery hence doubling life. or is it just a bigger capacity replacement battery so longer battery.
Sorry i just needed a bit of clarity
it has the same width/height as standard battery (fits in slot) but double the thickness almost like to stacked on top of each other in parellel. That means the original backing plate wont fit on anymore so they supply a replacement.
Checkout the video from the nexus one forum

Battery

The battery on the G2 looks almost the same as then one from the Touch Pro 2. Are they the same? I don't have my Touch Pro 2 anymore.
I did a comparison at the corp store. It's a bit thicker (you can feel with finger).
All you have to do is to flip the battery and cut the corner by the connectors, but the thickness may block the back cover even though it's 0.3mm thicker.
Good to know. The G2 might actually use the same battery as the HTC Eris and Dinc. Anybody can confirm that? I want to pick up a couple of batteries and a charger on ebay but don't want to pay a premium price just because they are listed for the G2 only.
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using Tapatalk
Damn HTC , may wanna check the form factor of the battery it self.
I have a mytouch slide which has the same battery as the g2, 3.7v dc 1300mah
Thing is, not only would you have to flip it face side down to align with the pins, but the nub is backwards making the ass end of the battery stick out a bit too much, dunno what snappin that lil peace off would so as Im not a battery geek, and Im not sure how far the cells inside and its caseing are etc :\

Really if i last till 4pm that is like heaven for me. I have charger in my car and work but still i hate that i have to keep my phone on the charge all the time I will be looking for a 1800 battery to replace the OEM battery
Here's to that.
Haven't had my G2 long, but the few days I have I've been around 20-25% at 5pm. I take it off the charger at 6am when I head to work.
Used a 2300mAh in my G1 - it spoiled me!
So I'm guessing no one has any information regarding if there is any extended batteries for the G2 yet? I just got my G2 yesterday and I pulled it off the charger this morning at 6:30 a.m for it to be dead by 4:30 p.m. I definitely want something to last a little longer than that.
As far as I've seen, there aren't any extended batteries yet. But the phone did just come out. It's going to take the case/accessories/battery companies a few weeks to get stuff shipping, I would assume.
If the battery in the G2 is the same as the one in the Droid Incredible (I am just speculating, they both seem to have the same specs), there is a slim extended 1750 mAH from Innocell on the seidio website.

Don't waste your time with the Seidio extended battery. It is nowhere near the 1750 that it is rated at.
Take a look at this thread: http://androidforums.com/incredible-accessories/98877-seidio-liar-liar-your-pants-fire.html
I can confirm that the Dinc battery does not fit into the G2, due to the tabs built into the corners.
Edit: you would also have to put the Dinc battery in upside down to align the contacts.

I remember reading somewhere that the G2 battery is the same model as the HTC Wildfire battery. Of course I can't find where I read that now. Does anyone know if that's true? I hope so, since G2 batteries on eBay are $30, whereas Wildfire batteries are only 5 bucks.

Actually, upon searching ebay for "HTC vision" batteries Wildfire batteries kept popping up in the titles. Given that there's already extended batteries for the Wildfire that don't seem to be out of proportion, I'm thinking I'll be the guinea pig on this one.

Superfly has reported in the battery thread in General that he is using a Seido from the Incredible. He is reporting nothing but goodness about it. He did have to slighty trim a corner to get it to fit though.

I assume that an O2x battery would work on the G2x? I've used a Momax battery on my N1 and I get decent life out of it.
expansys us has one for pre order. 39 bucks i think.
here it is http://www.expansys-usa.com/lg-optimus-2x-battery-210068/
i personally wouldn't use anything other than an oem battery.
Good to know. I got two non original batteries for my Nexus One. One was a fake from DinoDirect that looked authentic but barely lasted half what it should have. But the Momax I bought from NCIX is so close to the original in performance that I usually forget which one is actually in there.

I'm interested too. Looking for "Optimus 2X" on eBay had no results.
Mugen's (www.mugen-power-batteries.com) working on a battery. Typically they're more amps than stock in the same form factor. They're more expensive than stock and better quality. They have a great reputation and I buy their batteries whenever I can.

Hey guys, is this any good? I was planning on buying this; http://www.amazon.com/Laza-Battery-Fascinate-Captivate-T-mobile/dp/B004AOAV56/ref=pd_bxgy_cps_img_a

1800 mAh battery

I was looking on Ebay, and I came across this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/X2-1800mAh-...ccessories&hash=item27be899b8b#ht_2747wt_1144
$12 for a 1800 mAh battery for the Epic 4G touch! This is good news considering it would fit in the Epic 4G's battery slot, correct?
One thing that threw me off was:
"Compatible with :
SAMSUNG i9100 GALAXY S 2 II
EPIC 4G TOUCH SPH-D710 SPRINT (Not for Epic 4g)"
It still works with the Epic 4G though right? The statement is wrong?

Go fat ($8 "3500mAh" battery) or go home if you want better battery life IMHO
What about this then?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-BATTERY...ccessories&hash=item19c904ec86#ht_1265wt_1144
Btw I have a 3500 mAh battery, but I would love to find a battery that would give a significant increase and still look the same.
If you don't buy the Genuine Samsung 1800mAh battery then there's no difference between buying those or ebay batteries marketed as OG epic batteries. Take for example your 3500mAh battery. If you bought it from a reputable company (seido, mugen) than you can expect that 3500mAh to be about 2450mAh (about 70% of stated capacity). OEM batteries are pretty much exactly what they're claimed to be (96-100% of stated capacity).
So unless you get a really good deal and like swapping out multiple low cap batteries it's usually better to just buy OEM.
I just bought 2 Anker 1800mah batteries I will let you know how they hold up.

then clearly you don't want the longer lasting battery i have the OG epic with the Hyperion cover and battery you think yours is going to add bulk hah. Yeah right.
Mine has bulk and after a few days got used to doesn't hurt my daily routine at all, still can access it out of my pocket, etc.... yours w/extended battery will be the size of my phone stock. or a tad bit bigger.
He doesn't want an extended door. He wants a slim battery with a little extra juice. Stop forcing things on people when they've clearly stated that "isn't" what they want and when the thread itself isn't about what your trying to shove down people's throats.

I have the Seidio Active X case and love the look and feel of it, no I don't want an extended battery. The stock 1500mah battery will get me through a little more than half a day, I don't mind swapping out batteries from the wall charger once a day. I asked if anyone has used the Hyperion 1800mah so I know if it will fit like the OEM epic touch battery will.
I appreciate your suggestion and have looked at extended batteries and I'm simply not interested in that. I guess its a matter of preference, you prefer one big ass battery that will last all day, I prefer 2 stock sized batteries to get me through the day.
Back to my original question since it never got answered, has anyone tried the Hyperion epic touch 1800mah battery and is it the same size as the oem? K, thanks.

Well I think the guy has an OG Epic and wants to use a generic battery for the epic touch with it, while you keep saying that your phone, being the OG epic, is fat as hell and I think that what your getting from this is that he has an Epic Touch, which I doubt considering his sig, I could be wrong though.

Where did you get this? My stock battery is 1500 mAh, same with the other two Epics here in the house. I got a 3200 mAh battery and I enjoy the capacity even if it makes holster options very limited. It would be nice to find a slightly roomier battery that didn't need a new back cover to get for them - and maybe me. I rarely dip below 70% on this monster, so it might be nice to have the slim 1800 and save my 3200 for days when I know I'll need that double capacity.

From the past, NFC and kickstand has been done with other phone models, wireless charging might not be possible.
There might be a stand along wirless charging battery by anymode (samsung sister/partner company or a third party one), but this one has not been confirmed.
I never needed one for my S4, so I am guessing I will get by without a second on the S5. I do have a 7800 mah portable charger that we bring along on trips and events should anyone need to power up. Battery life has definitely improved since my Thunderbolt/ Galaxy Nexus days.

Not sure about Anker and other 3rd party batteries. Steve Litchfield did a test on several 3rd party batteries (inc. Anker) and they all don't hold as much charge as the original. You can get physically bigger ones but they don't appear to be as energy dense as the originals. Still for the price, they made sense as spare/back up batteries compared to originals.

That is what i meant. The Anker i had with my S4 wasn't as good as the original but not far off. So comparing Anker vs original it was probably better value pound for pound. You could probably get 2 Anker ones for the price of a Samsung.
I go with Seideo myself. They are quite expensive but the extended battery + Case/Clip combo works well. I started with them on my Palm Pre and have bought their stuff for every phone after that. Generally their cases and clips hold up well and the batter adds a few days worth of life. Your mileage may vary though.
I found this 5600mA extended battery here:

I think I will give it a vote this time. Anyone here tried that before???

OR, just buy the stock battery that comes with the S5 or the battery/charger combo if you wanna keep it slim as stock. That's what I would do. The KINPS 4000mah battery for my Note 2 that I bought from Ebay was not any better than the stock 3100mah that came with it.
