I am sure i will be able to do it as i pick things up extremely fast

If you want to start out modifying shipped ROMs or someone else's custom ROM, you can use my Android kitchen (see link in my signature). You can also use it to modify AOSP ROMs.

Thanks

[Q] Need a android ROM that works 100% with a video for the instructions

Hi,
I'm searching for a Android ROM but there are so many ROMs I can't choose. So...I want to ask if somebody knows a ROM that works 100% with a video to see the steps.
thx
Nothing ever works 100%.
hmm...okee but do you know a android ROM for htc hd2 with a video for instructions etc.
i wouldnt choose a rom only based on whether it has video instructions or not. i mean, there are some really quality roms that dont have video instructions
A little push in the right direction - (I hope )
What ROM you choose should be based on your needs/preferences.
I would suggest either LeoMar75 Rom Revolution v2.4 - Kitchen App or DarkyROM2
Also, check out this thread: [ROM + Guide]Official i9100 Firmwares KF1/2/3/4/, KG1/2/3/5/6/7 Download - a nice place to start.
Hope this helps you on the way
Not to offend, but if someone were to feel the need for instructional video... custom ROMs really aren't for them.
Custom ROMs are for more advanced users, and shouldn't be taken on lightly IMHO.
Try BlockBuster 4 ROM with Galaxian kernel, very very good way..

[Q] modifying other roms

My question is about modifying roms that people upload here on xda. so i start to learn a bit more about this on how to make rom, modify and so on.i really have a wish to upload my own rom and share to all people.but i still dont know much about that ofc,i need to learn a lot.i do know now how to modify rom which is simple ofc.but first i wanna stay at modifying and 1 day i hope i will post my rom.all roms here on xda can be downloaded for free and i must say big thanks to developers. so,if i download a rom,can i upload back to xda with my modifications? do i need any permissions before i post moded rom?

Well, it would be better if you ask the developer of the original rom first.

You have to ask permissions to all people who took mods or files.

Galaxy 3 stock Deodexed ROM required

Hi there guys. I wanted to start building my own froyo based rom from scratch. I found a good guide for it too but i require a stock deodexed rom for it. I searched dharams rom collection and a number of sites as well but all of them have dead or broken links. So please can anyone help me out finding the stock deodexed rom or help me with a deodexing tutorial. I am new to all this and know only basic layman programming. Thanks in advance and thanks to all of those who have kept our device still alive by developing roms for it.
You shouldn't post this in the development section. Anyway, search for how to deodex a ROM and do it yourself since you're the one making the ROM.
Sent from my GT-I5800 using xda app-developers app
use this to deodex..

Could you possibly give a link to this if you still know where it was? I can't find it no matter how hard I try to look through that forum.

Everything works great except the 3G. Works ONLY in Facebook Messenger and Viber.
Installed it as any other ROM, with TWRP and a SD card or you can use SP Flash Tool. Same process as any other rom installation
Hope this help a little bit :fingers-crossed:
Here is a post how to install install TWRP
