[Q] How would I build my own Kang? - T-Mobile LG G2x

If I wanted to make my own CM7 kang, add my own features and what not, how would I go about doing that?
Where do I go to learn about cooking roms?

A good place to start would be cyanogenmod wiki...

He is right, the end result is your avg kang in a few commands if you are on ubuntu linux (can run it in virtual box if you run windows)
You can study the file contents to make.simple additions and peruse the info found on the android-building google group and android.com

Most anti-productive idea ever!
To further answer, no. I don't believe that is possible.
O then k ... any GOOD step by step guide for dummies , please ?
I would need to that because I would like to make a fully functional simple Apache+PHP+MySQL installation.
Thanks!
Sorry...I'm not really any help here, but here are a few things I have been watching...

You could try searching first before posting threads.....

Thanks meanm50, I kew these programs, but no solution for me.
MemoryController, I have used the search and I'm actually using a Ubuntu image (Apache + PHP painfully installed, I'm with MySQL now) but I didn't found a step-by-step among a lot of post that guides me with libSDL, sorry.
Good luck!
Actually there are threads for both qemu and bochs.

How to get the camera working CM 12.1 xperia M2

Hello this is my first time on this forum so I apologize in advance for my dyslectic English and probably breaking a few forum roles.
I have been flashing CM and CWM to my xperia M2 following this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58458162&postcount=416
and
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59618946&postcount=731
As it says on the page camera dos not work on this versions CM but when is searched the web if found this thread and download.
http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=939009
http://www.mediafire.com/download/kl6pya23rqmvdy8/cm-12.1-20151007-UNOFFICIAL-eagle.zip
In this version CM the camera works fine but my wifi stopped working and I like to have a working wifi on my phone. I was thinking to post in the developers thread and ask if a newer version of the Alpha release whit working camera would come out soon or if extracting the camera driver and build my own zip was possible. Unfortunately I´m a newbie at this forum and was not allowed to post in that thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...-cyanogenmod-12-developement-t2971213/page131
So dose any one know if a new release is coming or if there is a way to move the camera driver from one CM zip to another?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Try installing CM12.1 with TWRP instead of CWM

That cant possibly make a difference I have all ready gotten it to work once whit that CWM and CM 12.1 Lollipop BETA 1 but then it was unable to start my wifi. In the alpha 4 and 5 release it clearly stats that camera dos not work that´s why I was hoping there could bee a way to use the camera drivers from the Beta1 release.
Hi i found this link about how to pull wifi drivers out of CM and put them in Replicant. Any one know if it could work whit the camera drivers tow?

The rom you linked to seems to be a vanilla CyanogenMod 13 build. You probably don't need to port it.
You can start by creating a build of the same rom but for the original Moto G 2013 you are interested in. You will need to swap the device tree so that your build uses the device tree for the Moto G 2013 instead. There is a chance that what you build won't run or will have an undesirable impact on your device so,....make copious backups and do your research before you build or flash anything.
Good luck.
UPDATE: This Ethan Chen article is worth a read too.

Miui8 [untested by me]

As you can see HERE somebody at Miui Brazil have already provided to build MIUI8 for our device but the Moto X Play is my primary device so I won't test it. If somebody have time well... You're welcome! A least 2 thing:
1) I don't assume any responsibily for broken devices.
2) The build isn't make or tested by me so I don't know what work and what not.
So happy flashing buddies!
For more informations please subscribe on the G+ community HERE (It is in español).
If you want you can thank THAT POST.
You can watch HERE too and download the ROM HERE.
Technical informations: The ROM is at V8 7.1.21 released with march security patch and based on Android 6.0.1
I am getting zip file corrupt message while trying to flash the rom.Downloaded the rom thrice,7zip and winrar showed no errors.Currently on twrp 3.1.0-r1.
error 7 on installation b1 and b2 versions.
The answer is: yair estas provando una version viejita aguarda y te confirmo cuando puedas testear. Saludos (He will let we know when he'll release a new version).
Updated link with latest build! You can find it HERE!
I remember the work isn't made by me! I don't assume any responsibily for your briked devices!
Someone is trying to port the MIUI 8 from another device to our lux.. in the wrong way.
Taking victara's MIUI 8 and editing build.prop and updater-script won't work, dude. lol
Mi4i has got same internals as our device and therefore, porting should be done between them. I had tried it once but couldn't complete it.

[OEM][LOCK][GRIFFIN] OEM-Lock your Moto Z

I wrote a batch script that will generate an OEM-locking batch script from any Moto Z stock ROMs' flashfile.xml. It works flawlessly on my Moto Z (XT1650-03), but it's generic and may be of use for other Moto smartphones (Z2, Z3, Gn, En, etc).
moto-oem-lock.zip
Give it a try and place comments here, please.
waiting someone/other to try before me
