Well Well now who's the little blood sucker's now? I posted a few questions about two days ago and was bashed buy a bunch of little 13yr old and even seniors member's on here. I was sat back and got a huge kick out of it. Anyways as always I work alone away from most of the FREAKS on here. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!
Anyways after many hours working trying to get temp root on the new Gingerbread 2.3.3 OTA Update! I was successful in creating a working Temp Root!
This was done with the help of a very good friend that wishes to remain anonymous. I also seen many people are giving away a reward for the person who figures a way to gain root on the device. My response to that is keep your damn money I don't want it and my friend don't either. So if you all are thinking this is a way to retain the award your WRONG you little maggot!
We don't want anyone's money let alone your's. The temp root works and is very easy to achieve! I will be posting the guide in about 35-45 mins for other's to achieve this temp root on the HTC EVO 4G!!!!
For them little pricks that sit on their asses and wait for a Root and don't even give to the xda community but will leech and whine about everything make me sick. I'm so tempting to not even post the guide and let you pitiful bastards suffer and burn in hell and be miserable while I enjoy my new Rooted Device. Then my friend said what about the ones that have spent countless hours for the love of the EVO. That's what changed my mind so what now?
It's 7:25 my time and I'm going to begin this simple guide for those who deserve this root. It should only take me 30-45 mins to explain how to gain Temp Root on your HTC EVO 4g with the New OTA Gingerbread Update with S-On........

I am sure that like me and the countless others that check in multiple times per day, seeing all the awesome regularly updated ROMs, all you want to do is get the most out of your Evo. yes, definitely wouldn't be worrying about studying for infantry... we don't need a test to tell us how smart we are, that's what our busted up knees are for!
by they way... i was on a MiTT team over in j-bad mostly... worked w/ ANP and ANA... lots of 173rd guys out that way (07-08) ... winter of rock avalanche :'( ...tough times, tough guys..

Hey guys and gals! I recently purchased a Samsung galaxy s blaze and I came here to check out the ROMS and such.. but I noticed that there isn't one that is working without bugs and all. Is there a reason? Is there not enough devs here with the time or capability? I could easily help you guys out and all but I have no idea on development. If someone here is willing to show some stuff for me, I would be willing to take it! I think this is a great phone with a lot of capabilities so how about we get this phone in the show!? Thanks!

Development has been slow until recently. To date erikmm dark Knight build 4 is running smooth and without issue that I'm aware of. Also recently Erik also has cm7 running but the cam is not working. He has been working hard to get the blaze working better.
I agree the phone has huge potential. Its quick and fast

Yes I have seen that Erik has been working hard on this phone, he is a great dev and I know people look up to him. But we cannot leave everything up to him. If anyone else wants to join me, I would be willing to know everything he knows so we can have more people developing around here. Just saying, I could probably learn this stuff right off the bat maybe even from google. I will be around here for a while!

Erik has been doing an amazing job but I often feel guilty because of all the pressure we may be putting on him lol. I think it's only fair to him if we can find another experienced developer help build ROMs for this phone and ease some of the weight off Erik. I am all for donating to buy another Developer a phone lol.

I'm am down for this if he is as good as you say. I am willing to open up a paypal account and kick start the donation with 10-20 dollars but first I need to confirm we'll have enough donators. We will likely need more than the last time because finding a blaze for $250 is not easy.
Please like this post if you're willing to donate to see lengthened and speed-up the development for this phone.

The other night I saw HTCClay pop up in the Blaze board. I remember using his ROM's years ago on the G1. The stuff he did back then was great on that phone. Between CM and Clay's ROM's, the G1 had life. I am not sure what he is doing or not doing but he has the Blaze also. I sent a message to him the other day to see if he is planning to cook something up for the Blaze.
Erik has accomplished a ton in the past few weeks as a one man show developing and releasing ROMs. Personally I have learned a lot working with him testing and checking the ROMs.
I personally think it would be great if we could get other dev's involved to help the cause.

I'm down with helping out guys. Erik is my team mate and a good friend and I'm always there for him. Even on this phone, i have helped him out with flashing scripts and such. My lightning zap tweaks, gremlin remover for sgs4g, and gummy mutt port for that same device have a well known reputation of their own. Not to mention the work i have done on a few HTC devices, LG nitro, captivate, and Sony s tab with other devs. If you guys could get me a phone, team kick ass would be complete and i think together Erik and i would make this phone phenomenal like we did with the sgs4g...

I just posted the following on the sprint form and about to on the AT&T because not all of us go exploring the other SG3 sections since they split us all up so i just wanted to spread something I found and hopefully will be useful to some of you.
First off let me begin by saying hey this is my first thread! I'm not a developer by any means but I am a big enthusiast when it comes to customization of our phones. So here's something new I learned that noone has seemed to release yet so I thought "what's the worst that can happen?" Unfortunately we can use his WICKED [V2] rom as it is only for the T-Mobile version but I can confirm that his flashable red and blue themes in his post are 100% working.
Instructions
Place on root of sd card
Reboot recovery
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Flash
Reboot
ENJOY.

I am no way the owner this completely belongs to evil1art. The theme is for the average person with the subtle want for red or blue on their status bar and toggles. Please thank him. It really sucks Verizon locked the boot loader. Of scared away so many devs. Our phone has two working ROMs (synergy and beans) ,and that's pretty much it. Now I'm not knocking either, both are amazing ROMs and I've been running synergy forever and use beans now and then...but other carriers have multiple kernels and ROMs to choose from.
Oh well, boot loader was just recently unlocked. Guess we have to give it time. Thanks again for this!

Anytime, I know the Verizon flavor is probably the slowest when it comes to customization, just trying to spread out this theme from a developer that's very good at what he does. Just trying to help some people out in making their phone stick out.

Unfortunately it does not as you can see in my attached photo. He's working on it for his next release no ETA yet, but I'm sure with enough demand he will do it eventually.

I can understand your concern, but the OP is worded very kindly and sings nothing but praise for your work. That may be a little harsh.
Everything we flash is at our own risk. Some vzw are flashing sprint kernels, some are using att themes. I always see posts in the development section for others work, as long as its credited I really don't see the big deal.
Moral of the story is, this guy praised your work and potentially got you more donations/attention/thanks. However its your theme so in the end its your call I guess

I cant say my rom or themes will work on other carriers because it hasnt been tested and if it bricks your phone it would of been my work and my name that did so without my knowing, if people want to take that risk its on them but for someone to use my name and work without permission and spread it all over without proper testing thats not cool! If your $600 phone bricks you would curse me for my work not the guy who posted it here without permission

I personally would not. I would say 'well I'm an idiot for flashing a t mobile theme on my phone'. I wouldn't pm and harass the developer.
However I do understand your point and I know not everyone can be as mature on the forums.

Why not try on your own device? If I was working a zip flash to unlock the bootloader, I'd be trying on my own phone, rather than enlist others who may possibly brick as result. And, as DX2Trip asked in "test two", have the devs seen this that you're experimenting with?

The idea with the post count requirement was to make sure that motorola didn't create an account and volunteer to test it, and then go and analyze it, patch it if it worked, and then report back that it didn't either way.
Personally, I think that this may be unnecessary (although I have doubts about Moto's character, they definitely don't have the resources to be trolling dev forums in an effort to actively discourage development on year old hardware)
I would volunteer to test this, except that I fall just short of both requirements and I would also like to know what happened with the previous two tests before attempting this one (did they result in a brick?)
Again, as Fall of Enosis mentioned, the lack of replies by OP is a bit questionable. People asked legitimate questions in the first "test thread", and nothing was answered. Any good dev keeps up with his/her threads, and assures people with confidence by laying concerns to rest with some riposte. Not trying to cast any doubt on the OP's abilities, just a mention here of maybe taking a more proactive role in the threads he starts. My suggestion, to be taken or left alone...

I actually didn't look much at the OP, thinking that it was the same group of people that were doing the BL unlock the last time. I have reconsidered my decision to be a part of this test. Actually, I think this thread should be locked, but that's not my choice to make.
