So I replied in the cm7 thread bout this issue and seems no one has been able to reply me thats why I post here to know if it is just me or anyone else cant see incoming video from yahoo properly and also cant hear call from headphones, or headphones get detected as headset?
I would appreciate if someone share an ooVoo apk that works well on their cm7/uc rom, I remember having a working ooVoo on a sense based rom

I tried out the editted apk that was on the front page earlier and I get an FC when I try to turn on video during a voice call. Calling someone with video will not work, that only puts Skype into landscape mode. Anyone have any other luck on this? One of the big reasons I got an Infuse was for the video chatting feature.

This has already been clearly answered, the skype video requires gingerbread so we have to wait
Is anyone else experiencing the problem where you can video call someone on GTalk, you can see there video but they cant see you? How do I fix this? I've only tested from me on a Sensation to two people on Nexus S'.
wait, since when does gTalk video work on the Sensation? I don't have that option...
You have to have a SiP enabled rom.

I've installed Gtalk 1.3 from the post bellow on rooted 2.3.3using Root Explorer)

However the quality of voice calls aren't as good as the PC version of Gtalk. There's always a "tick tick tick" noise and sometimes the my voice isn't good quality at other end.
I'm just wondering if anyone has found a combination of android builds and Gtalk versions that works fine on P1000 galaxy tab. at least one that has a decent voice quality.

Does it work perfectly or there are some features not working?
for example the one i have installed on my 2.3.3 android, have some annoying bugs. after i make a video call i have to disonnect wifi and reconnect, otherwise i don't receive any notifications or alerts when someone calls me or sends me a text, i cant call anyone either, basically it just shows me online while gtalk does not function at all. also mute button doesn't work and switching from front to back camera causes a force close.
for future reference, i installed overcome 4.1.0 android 2.3.6 and gtalk with audio/video comes pre-installed. video on both side is smooth with good frame rate. camera switch works fine. the only problems are the mute button which doesn't work and the list of friends that doesn't refresh after a long voice/video chat, needs a re-login. other than these 2 problems,works great.

The person I'm calling (video conference on hangouts) cannot hear me. I can hear them perfectly, but they can't hear a thing from me. The video flows without problems in both ways. It is not a mic problem since the problem persists with a headset with mic. The mic works fine for any other application.
Has anyone got this problem? Any ideas?

Try to clear the cache,data and set things to default.
Go to Settings>Apps>All> click on it "app info" will open which will have these options.
dear forum i installed lineageos 14 on sm-j700h. till now everytjing works fine . the only issue i have is that during a whatsapp voice call i cant hear the other party but they can hear me. on videocall everything is ok. can anyone suggest a solution? thanks
