Where is the default background stored in the rom and where is the default theme stored.
I am trying to create a cm7 rom with the cm6 theme and I am trying to make it pure google ( regular boot animation, regular theme, google default wallpaper)
Also how can I change the live wallpaper in the CM7 rom to be multicolored ( RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW)
Also tell me if you are interested in a pure google rom?

I am currently running on iphone 4 jb and droid x. Really like the voice reliability of the droid X for business days over the iphone. I really dislike the email inbox theme on the droid X ...the black background with white letters. Does anyone know, if I root the X, can I change the background color on the email inbox as well as settings to a white background using a file like the iphone png files and also (of course) change the font to black. White letters on black background s*** and is not a battery concern to me as much as the processor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
Yes you can if you root it. Many themes or custom roms have this built in. search around the droid x themes or did x android development section.
I can't think of any exact theme or rom but will post back if I find something

I hust recently discovered that app Chooser was in my list after toying with the nightlies for some time. Iowa's quoted excited to be able to switch to rovers theme in there, but decided to flash the frosty(?) theme. I ended up losing my clock and noticed that a lot of rovers stuff was left over (kinda nice as I like the batt/signal icons). Any way...is there an appropriate process to getting new themes to fully take? I had to restore in order to get my clock back rather than just reapply the theme.

Reapply the System theme in the Theme Chooser. Then reboot. Success.

Hi,
I would like to ask if such an app can be made, I came from the nokia n900 and we had such an app, as shown in the link: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=62960
If this can be made it would be great, because for example I for one am using PA v0.3 which I really like the layout of the theme and everything but not the colour blue, I've tried several other themes and they dont work as well as the custom theme provided with the rom so I always go back to stock theme.
What Such an app as theme customizer can provide, is you keep same theme but adjust colours to your liking and other things such as editing fonts and so on.
If this can be made it would be great.
Cheers.
CM7 used to have this feature. to change the light theme of mms to dark theme..
currently in CM9 I cant find the option to change the current theme to dark.
so what I did.. I grabbed a copy of mms.apk from the CM9 Rom and decompiled it.
now the hard part is where to look for the colors to change the the current background to black.
or any guides I can use to modify it?
Why black?
-The letters seem crispier at dark background. and it doesnt hurt my eyes at dark rooms.

Hi there, I'm looking for a dark theme/app/patch/module for the stock 4.1.2. I can activate inverted colours (monochrome) in the browser under accessibility, however with the browser I'm looking for this feature but to still show pictures with colour.
Maybe this is possible with an app, xposed module or theme for the device, which can provide a dark theme to the entire phone?
I'm running a black background already.
