4.1.2 dark theme/app/module? - Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE

Hi there, I'm looking for a dark theme/app/patch/module for the stock 4.1.2. I can activate inverted colours (monochrome) in the browser under accessibility, however with the browser I'm looking for this feature but to still show pictures with colour.
Maybe this is possible with an app, xposed module or theme for the device, which can provide a dark theme to the entire phone?
I'm running a black background already.

This is all you need without ROOTING :

With this app, you can edit your notification bar the way you want

That one has poor reviews, and doesn't look to be free...
Sorry, I guess this is a necropost, but I'm looking for the same thing, and have been for quite some time.
I'm rooted, running CM 10.1, and running the XPosed framework. I've seen a couple of themes, but they always do things like change the dialer layout, or something... I really just want to turn that shade of blue white, and I guess just doing that in the notification bar would be fine.

Anything is possible if PAC ROM already flashed in your device. It has so many option to customize your phone's look and feel. Have a try and good luck.
Is there any xposed module that can change the notification panel's background color to match that of the running current app via the color of the statusbar?

[Xposed Mod] XBackground - Replace background with Custom Color or Image

Hello Guys,
Here is another Xposed Module I have been working on. It is in alpha stage with a few features for now but will definitely get more as I learn more. I call it XBackground and of course requires the Xposed Framework already installed. I am sharing it now even if it is not fully developed to get feedback and suggestions.
XBackground - is an xposed module that runs on top of the xposed framework and its main function (for now) is the ability to let you change the Holo Dark background and Holo Light background used by some stock apps as well as many apps from the Play Store to any custom image from your Gallery or any color you like. It also can replace your Notification Panel background to any color/transparency or to any custom image from your Gallery.

How to install and use?
1. Download and install, then activate it in Xposed Installer and reboot.
2. To use, just run the app and say you want to change the holo dark background, just tick the color and choose the color you want from the color picker, then soft reboot. Or if you want to use a custom image, untick the color option and choose the image from the Gallery then soft reboot.
NOTE: Changing from color to image and vice versa always require a soft reboot. Changing from one color to another color always require a reboot. And changing from one image to another image does not require a reboot.
Credits: @rovo89 for the amazing Xposed Framework. BIG THANKS.
Nice work buddy, keep surprising us thanks :good:
Edit: Working very well using both colors and photo profiles
this is nice..
i can change the color of the background..but i cannot change it with picture from the gallery..
is there any special size for the picture??

Zip the brings some Holo Blue back?

I prefer the holo blue accents in the settings menu over having everything white/grey and some ROMs already come with everything whited out. I'd like to add back the holo blue.

Gravity Box, which is an Xposed module, allows you to add color to the icons in the status bar. The default is the holo blue but it can be set to anything.

Thanks but what I prefer is the blue accents in the setting menu and toggles
Follow this thread and revert everything... There's no ready-made zip afaik.

Thanks but it's not a ROM I'm after. What I'm looking for is a way to restore the holo blue accents in the settings menu. I don't find the all white UI very appealing and rather confusing.

That ROM is all holo blue stuff. Jelly bean style.
Otherwise, good luck.

White or Light theme

I would like to change the background of my roted Note 3 SM-9005 from
- Black Background with white fonts
to
- White or light Background with Black fonts
In doing so I have played with Xposed and Xbackground module, but I only was able to change background, NOT fonts.
Can somebody else share his experience?
Thank you
Saulo

You can download xblast tools (from xposed) and go to visual tweaks then holo theme and change the light and dark theme and texts colors etc.

[ASK] How to make black background and light texts in Chrome?

Hi everyone,
I have a low vision eyes. That I can't see black text on white background. I've implemented dark theme in my Nexus 5, but there's something I need but I can't do anything to get it.
I've installed dark theme too in Chrome for Android, but it's just applied in the app appearence itself. When I open a webpage, it still displayed black text over white background. So that I have to use "invert colors". It's useful but it doesn't comfortable for my eyes.
Can anyone tell me how to make every website becomes dark background and light texts in Chrome?
Thanks...

I am very interested in this as well, as I need to work on a black background with grey/amber text. Have you found any solution?

I haven't found any solution for chrome, but alternatively I can use Firefox and install add-on named "black background and light text"
It works well but actually I prefer chrome if it has this feature.

Dolphin browser has an option called night that does it.
