Hey guys, I need a stock captivate photo where I can put my own screen shots onto the phone's screen. I'm sure a ROM developer/themer has some laying around somewhere. Just needs to be a front shot of the phone and Google Images is being annoying. Thanks in advance

Hi all,
I am still very new to my Xoom (have only had it for about a week) and I have noticed what seems to be a glitch with the "wallpaper resizer/cropping tool" in the gallery when I am trying to set new wallpapers.
On all of my other Android devices (past and present) when I resize the picture to make it may wallpaper I can simply do so by using 2 fingers (pinch to zoom) but when I try this on my Xoom it is only recognizing one finger at a time and I have to resize by moving the box down, then to the right, then up, then to the left, etc.
Does anyone else have this issue and if so does anyone know how to fix it?
Please advise...
Thanks in advance...
That's going to be the least of your concern. I'm trying to figure out how to enable the whole wallpaper instead of cropping it.

LOL... Ya... I read your thread as well. I can get my wallpapers to work from the gallery using the crop feature but it is a pain in the a$$ to do when it wont work properly...
One easy way to get all of the wallpaper to view is to install wallpaper slide show. It's a live wallpaper but it allows viewing of the whole thing.

Hey everyone, I have a rooted LG Optimus V and I just recently installed the ICS Final Rom I downloaded from this site.
This rom has the ability to let me take a screenshot of my phone. I have used it countless times for taking a picture of my home screen or whenever I'm in the web browser. But when I use apps like DrawSomething or Cartoon Wars, whenever I take a screenshot, the screen goes black.
Is there any way to bypass this?
Try another screenshot app
I recommend Screenshot ER
I think this will help you. if it does please THANK me.

Hi I am trying to retrieve a photo that has been saved as a wallpaper on my gfs Samsung Galaxy gt 15500.
When the photo was taken it was saved to the sd card but as some stage the sd card got corrupted and as far as I know she got rid of it.
She needs a new phone but refuses to do so without the picture (its very personal and cannot be recreated). Is there anyway of getting it?. I have rooted the phone and when into data via AstroFileManager but I cant find it anywhere.
I have also tried Wallpaper Set & Save but it is not compatible with 2.2.
Any help is appreciated as my life wont be worth living if I cant get the pic
Thanks
I have an idea
Use go launcher, hide the dock, hide all icons, hide the status bar and then take a screenshot!!!!

You're too kind
Thank you so much QuantumFoam.
Ill try it out later on her phone. If all goes well it means I have that important picture for her and I get a new phone to play around with.
I rooted it, updated the firmware and flashed a new kernel already and the thing is flying........let the flashing of the rom commence!!!

Big thumbs down on that.
Downloaded and installed go launcher ex. It immediately changed the background to some stock picture of the sky.
I changed back to my original launcher and the picture that I was trying to save is gone. This is not good.
The photo still remains as a contact pic, but yet again I cannot find anywhere its saved. Its as if its in a cache somewhere.
Does anybody have any ideas? (I didnt want to get into detail but the picture is of somebody who passed away and is very important to my gf)
You didn't mention that it's as a contact pic
There's a way to see your contacts on Google
Open Google on your computer, go to the more tab and click Even more. There should be contacts there
Currently on latest Beta4 Goodness Rom Port, right now after taking pictures or videos on Goodness Rom those pictures are upside down in my gallery. I have messed around with display settings, however, no luck. My other pictures and videos from different roms display normal. Only on Goodness rom are they upside down. Thanks for any help given.
Does that rom use a custom kernel?

Hey Guys,
So I have a friend that has set a picture as their lockscreen and has managed to lose the original copy of said picture. Its still set in the lockscreen so Im thinking its got to exist as a copy somewhere in there. Does anyone here know where the lockscreen wallpaper that is currently active is stored? Its a picture of a loved one who has pass away and It would mean alot to them to have it.
any help is appreciated, thanks!
