i try to sign in again but it showed "account already exists. there is already a (my account) account on this android device"
i go to settings-account n sync n my gmail account is already synced with calender.
what should i do? any suggestion ?

my gmail is having issues syncing when i go into accounts and sync it says sync is having problems and will be back later so i think it might be a google issue

as does mine i cant delete my emails it says the delete the just show back up when i open my inbox again

My Htc Hero is having a problem linking facebook to my contacts. I can enter into a contact, select to link with facebook, then wait for it to find my facebook friends list. First it says "Friends data is either downloading or unavailable". So I wait more... then it says "Contact list is empty". I have restarted the phone. I have logged out of facebook on my phone and logged back in. I have downloaded the facebook app (just in case that was needed). It worked once before. I hard reset my phone and the contacts resynced with google. Google has in the notes the contact facebook link... but the phone does not read it. What should I do?? Im currently with Cellular South... if that matters.

I know about a day ago I was having trouble syncing with anything... all I got was "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly". I waited about a day, and it started working again. Maybe this will happen to you?

Im also with Cellular South and using DamageControl now... but still no Facebook contact linking. The "My Contact Card" syncs fine and my profile pic shows up... it's only when I try to link another contact. It searches for like a millisecond and shows "No matches found". Could this be because "friendstream.apk" does not work? I believe I saw somewhere that it does not work.

Had the same problem today using darchlegend... I signed out of Facebook for HTC Sence and signed back on, and then manually synced. That solved my issues.

I did that, and now I do not see the "Sync Contacts" under the Facebook for HTC Sense account. Im rebooting now.
**Rebooted.. and still FAIL!!**
I really would like this feature... it's what brought me to the Hero in the first place :/

Here is how I fixed the issue:
Go to Settings -> Accounts & sync
Here remove your Facebook for HTC Sense account.
Once removed exit Settings then go back to Accounts & sync and add it back in.
Next open the Photos app, move to the facebook icon at the bottom of the screen. Wait for all your facebook friends profile photos to load. Once that is done go to the People app. Hopefully you will now see everyone linked and their photos will show up.

I've tried that.
But there is a message prompting that the account can only be remove by resetting the phone factory.

Try google account dashboard. Info stored on your google account. I recall seeing android devices in there once.
You can clear data from apps management in the market app. That restores it to default but doesn't necessarily log you out.
Try the desktop market... you can log in and out there.... but there's no real hard logout unless you reset.
open market, open menu and logout

f you are using your network data with a android phone you cant log out, you dont have nothing like LOGOUT unless you make a factory reset , and never try to log into market again, attention because by doing factory reset you loose all your apps, make a back up before doing that, there is a free app call backup everything

To solve your Problem you have to be tricky!
Go to gmail .com,
and submit a new email...no matter if you will use it in future or not...
After you have submit a new email account on google,
go to your phone to accounts.
Add the new email google acc!
THen you have two!
Next time you start your market, it will ask you which account it should prefer..

Thanks i had done that trick, the only thing is that i was trying out this cheap tablet and put in my acount so i didnt had to make one but when i went to accounts and sync the tablet does not have that option.. all i got was a screen saying "the market account password change" sign in again.. :/ o well had to reset it

It will be added automatically.
Got to the following site and there is the option to link it to your live account. That should work.

The link between my windows live account and linkedin was already in place for me, but it nevertheless said it's updating be patient. I had to unlink it from my live account, delete the linkedin account from the phone, change the password on my linkedin account, relink it to my live account and then it worked. There are other people in this forum who still couldn't get it to work after all this. You mileage may vary.....
Hmm, ok yea, I'm getting an error where Linkedin says Attention Required, and when I click on it, it says "Something's gone wrong with LinkedIn. Tap fix to change your password" but fix is grayed out, so I tried the steps derausgewanderte suggested and it did the same thing...any other ideas?

that's how mine started "attention required", then I did the unlink, delete, change pw, relink cycle and it worked. I must be really lucky. It may have to do with the fact that I started Mangob2 with a cold boot from scratch. It's possible that there are registry settings carried over that prevent this from working when upgraded from NoDo.

You should disable auto-sync as soon as you flash the ROM.

i done that but same thing going
I removed some contracts from gmail than after sync that contact again come from phone to gmail.
But some of the phone contacts were deleted in auto which was not deleted in gmail.
My question is
What exact method to sync your phone and gmail contract same.
So wherever I add contact in phone it will add in gmail also.

Bro do a factory reset and then when u boot, it'll ask for gmail account, just uncheck auto sync and see..
Hey guys.
I got decent knowledge about Android.
I got some knowledge about rooting,flashing, and troubleshooting. But I have a problem.
And ofcourse I did Google it before creating a thread here
So I was using my phone but what I noticed is out of nowere my contacts were gone.
My contacts are stored in Google.
I did go to settings > Accounts > (the acc) > and it is bussy with syncing contacts. (Feels like it is stuck on synching)
Drive, gmail, etc all off them did synch except for Google Contacts.
When I open the Google Contacts in my webrowser all off the contacts are there.
But inside Google Contacts App, it doesn't synch.
Things I tryed :
1. Removed all off my google accounts from my phone settings. cleared cache in TWRP. rebooted added back again.
2. Auto-Synch is on.
3. Tryed few times "synch now" (manual synch)
4. Rebooted few times.
5 Cleared app data from Google Contacts and Play services.
Any sugestions?

On your PC/MAC go to Gmail/Contacts and refresh your browser. Sign out.
On your 1+6 sign out and sign back in, that should do the trick.

So I did Signout on my pc. and phone to.
Signed back in my phone, but still the same issue.

Yes but doesnt change anything. Since it need to sync first in the settings > Accounts > Google account

But this didn't work to. Forget to mention that I did this to. I also deleted my Google+ profile. I did read somewhere that it might help, but no.
So annoying this problem.
