About This Rom
This is based off of 2.27.651.6 Sprint RUU. This rom is not themed; Sense looks stock. There are two version deodex and regular (odex).
Please read this whole post. I reserve the right to ignore questions that have been answered in this post.

All above mentioned deleted apps can be found on your sdcard in folder called "deleted apps"

Flash is sometimes slow & non-fuctional.
I forgot to include HtcFacebook; HFB-OBF.zip attachment will flash it to /system/app
Voice Search broken; Download VS-OBF.zip attachment and flash to fix.

FAQ
You should wipe/factory reset before flashing this rom unless coming from v1.0
To install HTC_IME mod v.27 via a file manager (ie Estrongs or Astro). App can be found in /sdcard/deleted apps.
I highly recommend you use an app like AutoKiller to keep your phone's RAM in check. It will help keep that snappy feeling.
JIT
(de)JIT flashable zips can be located at the root of your sdcard.
JIT is non-enabled by default. If you do not wish to use it, delete the JIT files from your sdcard.
To enable JIT: boot your phone up, change both wallpapers, reboot into recovery, wipe dalvik, flash Enable.Jit_signed.zip, reboot normally. It may boot loop part way into loading the rom past the bootscreens; if it does this, pull your battery and boot normally, see your About Phone description with +JIT at the end.

yeah i had one up but it's aborting during install. I jumped the gun a bit on this one. but it was a really quick throw together.

Rather late in doing this but just wanted to apologize the sudden stop in development and communication on my part about my roms.
2.1 development has stopped do to certain aspects of my person life, and i feel as though plenty of other roms that qualify as better work than i can produce.

TTG for 1.5 was one of my mains until 2.1 came by. Thank you for your contribution to the dev community and for the great roms you did make.

Thanks for the kind words. Been looking at the current 2.1 pickings and I'm getting that feeling in my gut again that none of them are to my liking. Seems like the 2.1 rom dev game is a bit different from what i remember (ie jit, 360 rotation, uv/oc kernels).
Do Wants: HTC sense with all the goodies mentioned above. It seems like there are some htc sense roms but they don't have the jit or oc kernel or the rom senseless but does have those features. is there a rom i'm missing that is the whole shabang?
if i do by chance throw something together i'll be sure to post it.

Search the themes and apps section for a zip made by Jchisurf that works on the ZenheroFx to get the 270 rotation, I have flashed it and it works.

first n' foremost, let me welcome you to the good life of android
secondly there were never really any ttg days, fresh has always been seemingly more popular but i've had a few people appreciate my works.
Since the Mesmerize is just starting to bloom this page will be helpful in the future. I figured we can list the ROMS that work on our phones in one spot. My plan is to keep it updated with all the Roms and kernels for the Mesmerize. Make sure you check the thread for more details. So shall we get started. This is a stock, deodexed ROM with minor changes. No dependencies have been removed, therefore all stock apps should work as expected. Although this is very similar to the stock setup, it is still not stock and by flashing any or all parts of this ROM you understand the dangers of such flashing. This is in beta as I have not yet gotten everything in it that I want, but it's a good start and usable. As usual take a nandroid backup before you flash anything. I am not responsible for anything you do to your phone while flashing any of this content. That being said, I have had no problems with any of it. It uses all of the dependencies so all of the stock apps should work and anything that has been removed can be added from the Pick-n-Pack ROM.

CAUTION - WARNING
Do not use the partition sd card option in rom manager. It will mess up the phone's master boot record and you will have to rewrite the original one in order for voodoo kernels or anything that modifies the boot record to work properly.

None of the Fascinate ROMs will work on the Mesmerize unless you follow the Fascinated-Mesmerize thread. I don't recommend it, but it seems to work.

Not worthy of our post then. Unless you have tried it and approve i will not post it. I have personally tried everyone of the ones i have posted but due to the women i am not allowed to keep my phone rooted (i am not going to win that argument so I am not even going to try LOL) But what i do when i am not at home she dont know about. Thats how i have tried all the roms LOL

just an update to main post
I sent a PM to Scotsman to see if he will make this a stickie, I referenced it in my newbie guide as it's a great write up, good work!
Deodexed framework/app files for the 3.4.2 GB Froyo release.
Flash the package via clockworkmod recovery (Install zip from sdcard option)
If you have removed apps this will restore them back to stock, so you will need to go in an remove again.

I believe it allow's you to custom theme it.

If you look for my frozen eclair thread you will see a link to a good explanation of what deodexing is/does
How I understand it, the only reason for de-odexing a build is to allow for easier modification, i.e. theming. Apart from that, there are no stability/efficiency/performance gains to be had.
As I do not plan to make any such modifications, I'll leave my 'Optimized DEX (ODEX)' files as-is, and not de-Optimize them

This is for froyo, if you are using frozen eclair then I guess you are still on 2.21 or 2.34 eclair rom

Here is a deodexed version of Gene Poole's Liberated Aria 2.2.2 ROM. It has a2sd enabled but you will need to flash dark tremor apps2sd. Boot time will be SLOW because it is deodexed. It should install with just a cache and dalvik wipe if you are already on the 2.2.2 rom. Trackpad Wake works!! I used this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=995755

As far as I know the only advantage of a deodexed rom is for themeing purposes.

I added the modified boot.img and it won't go past the HTC screen. It didn't loop or anything. Just sat there for 20 minutes until I gave up.

Updated OP. ROM now supports dark tremor a2sd.
Removing the at&t in the status bar is next. I just need to know how to recompress an apk after modding it.... That's if, I have indeed, found the culprit.
Edit: I believe the culprit is HTC_transient_notification.xml in stk.apk if someone wants to take a crack at it. Or at least tell me how you edit .xml's in ubuntu...

They use some sort of binary encoding when packed into an apk. You need to use the apktool to un-compress the apk properly, but then you lose the signature and depending on what the file's role is in the overall scheme of things, it may not work properly with just any signature.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, since this is a deodexed ROM is it now possible to delete or rename the "htclockscreen.apk" file in root explorer to then allow use for the default vanilla lock screen? like seen in a CM ROM.
Like seen in this thread here, I have tried doing like the original post says with no luck.

Have you tried just deleting htclockscreen.apk from the zip? I don't see why you couldn't do that. But to answer your question... I really don't know.

According to the OP, he used jznomoney's kernel.
The trackpad wake was stopping me from using this ROM. Did drowning make any kernals for 2.2.2?

that should be the right clock... as for the feeds and updates widget the one I uploaded is, according to Nitroglycerine (whos Eclipse GB rom I got it from), the SGS2 one so it should look different (not pink) as I don't know how to change the color without using a theme

I know there's been compatibility issues with stock widgets on the newer roms, most likely due to lots of framework changes in the new builds... you could try posting in the rom thread though, maybe somebody got it running and could provide it as I usually don't use stock samsung widgets

if the ones from the above link don't work I suspect it may be because they are touchwiz widgets and Infinity is a heavily modded touchwiz-based rom, something new probably borked them
edit: also the widgets I linked to earlier were pulled from a froyo rom, so may not work at all on a GB rom no matter what you do
