i just wana ask which windows mobile has a perfect RAM , ROM , Processor ?
with perfect battery life
i want the fastest windows mobile

Windows Mobile Version 6 is the BEST for me,. instead of Windows Mobile Version 6.1,.

funny thing u ask. My wife has a polaris also with very little else installed (original 6.0) so it is clean. I have tweaked my polaris and have original 6.1 but have alot of apps installed.... so of course hers runs quicker, but it is only fractionally.
there is no such thing as the perfect device.

i didnt mean the operating system , i meant the phone , i want the best mobile with windows mobile operating system

There is no such single answer as everybody's needs are different.
It's a bit like asking which car is best, again no single correct answer.
The question you need to be asking is which phone is best for ... and then detail what you are looking for it to do.

NO kidding i want a touch hd too..... it seems by bank account won't support buying it outright and importing it to the US though

thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanx alot , i have an elf , but the phone performance is very very slow , is there anything i can do to make it look faster without overclocking ?also i have only 10mb on my main memory and in use is 39.26mb, what should i do to have more free memory on it?

thanx all for your support , i want to buy a new mobile , but i dont know which one should i choose ? thats why iam asking about device and OS , i like the sonyericson xperia x1 , soo great mobile , but how about its sound and battery ? coz the htc's sound isn't good , and the battery also , i thought maybe xperia x1 has better sound and battery than htc?

Well lot of rumors goin on the net, anyone have any idea if if HD 3 is for real..???

I am afraid he is right.
New WP7 reminds me of crappy iPhone interface.
Instead of getting more features and opportunities they're copying Apple style.
Hopefully with WP7.3 we will get copy and paste and with 7.4 maybe multiasking.
I will go for Android when I will change my HD2.

The first item on the list says "1.5 GB Qualcomm Snapdragon.."

..what? Does that make sense to you? No. Use your head next time, man

phone processors are at 1 ghz and so far maximum processing power is 1.3 ghz overclocked so its not out of the realm of possibility

I think the point was it says GB not ghz
Edit: Also if it was an official "document" or whatever it would say "Windows Phone Series 7" or whatever the official name is, not "Windows Mobile 7"

Those specs are obviously fake...1200x800 is not a supported resolution.

I think it's a fake ... but I hope so much that is true!
If the HD3 will keep the promises .. for me it will be the first PDA without the physical keyboard!
PS: Just this HD3 can make me leave my Touch Pro 2!

Seems like a rumor for now...but it could show up in the Fall.

I'm sure there will be a successor to the HD2 running Windows Phone 7 Series, but I think they will choose a different name than HD3 considering it's a completely new OS. And it will definitely have a screen res of 800x480, no higher.

It's possible that the forthcoming HTC Obsession will actually be a merger between the HD and Diamond product lines - in other words that there won't be a direct successor to the HD2 at all.
And yes, the "HD3 specs" posted earlier are a very obvious fake. We now know that WP7S doesn't support resolutions higher than 800x480; we also know that no WP7S device will be able to use a removable memory card. I really wish people would stop creating threads about these "specs" - there must have been nearly a dozen different threads about them, now. They don't get any less fake for being posted multiple times.

Well have been using HD2 for a while & was just curious, so just started this thread..!!!
Hope we get WM7 or Android sooner on HD2..!!!

800x4800 ? Wow, that's one hell of a resolution

Since when is processor speed measured in GB? And wow they gone really far for 1 generation. from DVD qualitity to 1080p.
Also everybody is talking about HD3. Where is TP3? I want to see some new HTC models with HW KB.
Also i wish that HTC would make some tegra models instead of qualcomm. Maybe then they will provide better drivers.

??[in bold] and the hd2 is certainly not too slow, it runs mango as fast as a native device and bliss sense 3.5 works sweetly on there.
Its a cheap device too running it at £150 max for a good second hand device.

hey all i am planning to buy a new android phone, and my history is a wildfire(cm7.1) which i sold, and i am currently owning an htc hd7( with xboxmod rom). and i am not that much happy with windows 7 phone( and cant find any android rom for it).
so.......
well i am planning to sell hd7 and buy an android phone.
i am confused with a lot of android phones around, so i decided to ask you people.
my specifations are..
1) hdpi screen 800*480
2) 1 or 1.2 ghz chipset( qualacom or tegra??) with a min 512 mb ram
3)good gpu,( i dont play that much, but like to make apps and graphics faster)
4) blue tooth 2 or 2.1 with a2dp.
5)some internal memory( 512mb - 2gb range) and mor than 8gb external micro sd support.
6) wifi b/g/(if i can get then n too)
7) good hsdpa speed( i mean 3g)
8)and all sensors needed for android device( we can omit gyro)
9) 5mp cam with 720p video rec( i have sonyericsson c905 for photo, lol 8mp cybershot phone).
10) a good battery life( like 4-5 hours calling/browsing in 2g or 3g, 5-8 hrs video/audio playback, and i really care about audio quality through headphones, it needs to be good)
these are my hardware spec, now my software spec are..
1) i should be able to load honeycomb( if a rom is available for the device), and may be upto icecream sandwich( little overkill??)
2) easily bootloader unlockable and rootable( i dont want to pay for it)
3) i need the best roms to be loaded into it( like cm, miui, etc and i never care for stock roms, as we can flash anything to it.)
4) multi bootable( if i get some thing like hd2 or so??, ) well its not a need, but if i can have it, then i am ok.
i like to have a htc( top priority), sonyericsson, or samsung device. well probably a phone with top spec in a middle class budget ( some thing that cost like htc desire S.). nop i am not going after latest workstations with tegra 2 cpu 1.2 or 1.4 ghz. which costs a lot money
what are your options?? does it worth to by the "old legend" HTC HD2? or you have better options?

I would suggest the HTC EVO 3D or the HTC sensation XL all the way....
If you want to save some money, then I would go for the Desire S.

Oh! Ok, I also I like the HTC's android devices. The latest and fastest HTC are.
1. HTC Rezound (Verizon)
2. HTC Vivid (AT&T)
3. HTC Amaze (T-mobile)
4. HTC Evo Design (Sprint)
These are the latest and fastest with alot of memory HTC phones.

Take the Galaxy S 2 or the Galaxy Nexus. For a cheap and good for modding take the galaxy si9000

Thinking of buying Sensation XE, is 1gb internal memory enough for apps?

the title says it all, I'm very very set on the Sensation XE because 1 I think in my opinion its the best looking phone I have seen period, at least until the ONE X+ comes out which looks very similar and plus it will cost 3x more and 2 I adore the Sense UI especially 3.5 and upwards
Coming from a Original HTC Desire used with lots of different custom roms etc
In any case just noticed it had 4gb memory but only 1gb user available? why is that? and have the developers found a way to over come that e.g. different hboot etc
and if not is 1gb internal memory enough for all the high quality 3d games n apps etc?
just wanted to get an overview of the memory customizations etc

1gb is more than enough...about 100 apps can be installed

1gb is great, in most cases this 3d games have a small apk and they download the game files to your sd card.
I highly suggest you buy a high capacity sd or use the 8gb one if you don't think it'll run out of space what with all the awesome 1080p video
