Yes, I have completely tested the ROM internally and it will be released to the selected beta-testers very soon to test different parts of it to the full and report back. I have not encountered any bug after last testing (and 30+ soft bricks ). If everything goes well I should be able to release it within a few days (before I am finally hospitalized). I have taken yet another first initiative here though a larger one this time
I have initiated the project of what everyone having a SGSL wants - a Custom ROM. I have the design in my mind and already completed many parts of it (which I will outline later) and few are left.
I invite everyone to actively participate in development of this First ever ROM for our phones. Write patches, design Graphics or just test and report bugs

Ok so i have spent the last few days rebuilding this rom from the ground up and i think it has a lot more potential...a lot of hard work went into it so far and i know there's a lot more work to go...This is update to my first rom for android but for those of you know my work with windows mobile you know to expect nothing less than quality from me.

...A lot of detail went into themeing this rom for literally 3 days of hunting pecking and modifying .9's and png's. so i hope you can see it for the beauty that it is...I will be working with konikub sometime in the near future on new themes for my rom...as well as others in the community.

Just downloaded/flashed and am getting it set up. There are some pretty neat little surprises in the ROM. I wasn't expecting the lockscreen, which I really really like it.
Flashing the Novatec kernel and will likely overclock to 1.113ghz. Been running the Fresh ROM currently with those settings, and it'll be a little different going back to a Sense ROM, but I think I'm going to like it.
Much props on the design and all, is there any chance on getting the background without the HTC logo on it? I don't use the 4x2 clock and prefer to keep my main screen very clean, but man, I love the design on the bg.
not unless i spend another 34 hours editing it...unfortunately that is how the wallpaper came to me.

No worries, I just wanted to see if you happened to have a non-edited background available. I might try to see if I can photochop something together if I pull apart the .zip file. I'll post it on here if there is any interest and you give the ok.
One thing I noticed was that it seems all of the Facebook integration has been removed. I understand why (to cut down as much bloat as possible) but I wanted to see what .apk files I would need to pull from another ROM to get the FB contact sync working. I didn't realize how much I use it until I went to send a buddy an SMS message and realized I don't have him in my Google contacts.
so far so good. just got it up and running. one thing thus far, facebook would not set up for me on initial set up screen. kept tapping it but nothing happened. will try again but wanted to let you know. thanks.

Facebook for HTC was removed from this ROM. You will have to push the right files from a ROM that has them to get it working on this ROM.
Facebook was removed...still a wip...just get the HTC Facebook apk to suit your needs.
Best rom for the evo to date. Amazing color and phenomenal performance. Excited to see where this goes. Great work!

Why SyndicateROM?
SyndicateROM is designed from the ground up for stability, battery life, and most of all, speed! The entire system has been slimmed - not merely by APK removal, but from the ground up. Every aspect of the system has been examined - and is still being examined - to find unneccesary components, and root them out. What does this do for you? WOW.... This ROM is a total beast. Super fast & Snappy... I tested quadrant like 4 times and its been hitting like 1175 avg. Totally love the start up/shut down animation screen. Really digging the extra ringtones and notifications as well. Thanks again.
Superslim would not install with phoenix kernel. It was a file corrupt, line 69 invalid android.tether. file doesn't exist

Did you install the rom let it boot then back to recovery wipe davik twice then install the pheonix kernel?
I did a complete wipe and cleared cache and dalvik 3 times and it would not install.

My motivation here on XDA is driven by helping, teaching and learning as much as I possibly can. Other people have taught me and continue to teach me so the least I can do is return the favor and make some new friends along the way. Thanks again to everyone for your support.

Just so y'all know, the wiki (see my sig) should be updated at latest by tomorrow evening with all the latest installation info, most likely it will be up tonight.

It's funny, the ROM is called "RA-mod", but it's the eye of Horus.
Hello all and welcome to the thread for the upcoming G3MOD follow up.
I (Dympy) will be working on this with support from the G3MOD/DroidDevs team.
This ROM is CM7 based, by our wonderfull Marcellusbe, give him lots and lots of thanks or buy him a beer.
This ROM shall have all kind of new features, including, but not limited to:
- Custom Launcher
- Custom Music player
- Custom Lockscreen
- Custom Theme
- Social hub, fully integrated in the system.
For now no ETA is available, so please refrain from asking.
I shall post updates whenever I get something done, including screenshots if available.
All big releases shall be public and sources shall be available within a month after release.
If you are a good designer and want to be involved in this project, please contact me through PM.
I still need some nice banners and some standard backgrounds.

IMO building from source would be better (if you aren't doing so already), as you'll be able to customize a lot of things.

I was indeed planning to build from source. However, for just testing my apps, I use Marcellusbe's cm7.

"To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks.
This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode.
This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even system components individually.
Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course.
Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on.
This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size.
You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to.
You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot.
You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode.
Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself.

Instructions:
1. Reboot to cwm (this can be done from gb or ics with cwm 5.0.2.8 or higher).
2. Wipe data (back it up before hand).
3. Format System.
4. Flash ROM + gapps
5. Reboot let it sit for 5 then do the following:
1. Boot up without a sim
2. Once booted up go thru setup wizard.
3. Then put in airplane mode.
4. Reboot with sim in.
5. Quickly go to system settings > more > mobile networks take out of airplane mode, uncheck data (if this takes you a while the phone will lock up and reboot).
6. Then click 2g network.
7. Check data and it should work.

If it isn't working on CyanogenMod 10 for SGS4G it’s not working here.
When you come across anything please let us know. Logcats will be very helpful with those instances.

The screenies are from a previous unreleased build. The dpi in this release is more consistent with er1kmm's paaranoidANDROID-1.6a-UNOFFICIAL. To change dpi for individual apps go to settings > Paranoid Settings > apps.

I've had some technical issues on my computer so I've been off the grid for a while. I just set up my Linux OS and build environment again and will adding the 4g fix ASAP and any other goodies I can.

I would really hope the better changes PA is making to their code is because of the new features I saw on the Nexus 4 PA! Such as the Pie and PA Colors! Plus hoping eventually for fixes to some of the bugs...especially the 4g and wifi!
Also wondering how hard is it to port ROMs from the SGS Vibrant to the SGS4G? There is already an awesome group of developers working topoetthe new Nexus 4 PA ROM to the Vibrant and SGS2! Would love to see those features!!!

Due to a myriad of issues with PA (changes, server problems which may lead to them changing servers, etc.) I haven't been able to successfully sync the source repository. Without the source I can't make any changes. PIE became open source only yesterday. Please use the Q&A for this project to post questions regarding it. Other questions in their appropriate place. Thank you.

Update Rumor
I was finally able to get the source to download Monday and eventually got it to build yet it doesn't quite work yet since it's 4.2.1 :laugh: so this will probably need to be put on hold until the 4.2.1 kernel is closer to stable.
