Anyone well versed in Japanese know if the Disney Mobile's DM009SH Source is going to be released or has been?

Before anyone comments, Yes. I *know* this forum is primarily for HTC devices.
Anyway, does anyone know if there are any projects going for getting Android running on Non-HTC devices? Specifically, Acer or Eten devices? I've got a bunch of devices here (see my sig), that I'd LOVE to get it running on, but don't have a clue where to start, nor the skills necessary to write drivers for them...
Motorola and Samsung are the manufaturers that spring to mind. There's the Samsung Galaxy and Motorola have just made an announcement which Orange will be carrying sometime in October.

Yeah, I know that; but what I was asking was if anyone knows of any projects to get Android ported to existing non-HTC devices, such as the projects for the HTC Vogue and Kaiser...
Sure, i780 and omnia can run android. No audio and microphone yet.. but you can send sms, navigate into menu, use wifi, install apps etc

Some folks over at modaco.com are porting android for the Samsung Omnia. I think they also have a thread in the dev/hacking section.
Hi all, im new here and first of all, sorry for bad english.
I have here a n64oid "source code".
why the quotation marks in source code? - is because i dont know anything about development, so i dont know if this is a real souce code.
if this is indeed the source code, is possible create a Nintendo 64 emulator that works on Xperia mini pro?
Thanks
Actually, it should be. It'd be probably hard to make it compatible with the lower resolution of the Xperia MIni Pro, but with the source code, it's feasible. How did you get n64oid's source code? The author has caught some flack for using mupen64plus and not releasing the source, at least officially.
I get it from n64oid's Google Code page
Hi All,
I am buying a type-B Raspberry Pi unit soon, and would like to know what OS everyone thinks is the best to get started with?
Please, only answer if you have used or owned a Raspberry Pi unit before, as I need an informed answer.
The website advised me of the Raspbian Wheezy OS, but I want to know what the dev community thinks.
Cheers,
Deano
Wheezy does seem to be the best solution, but... they are currently porting ICS using a custom kernel should be ready in a couple of weeks at most. There doesn't seem to be much interest for the rspi on this forum though
Hello, I know that there are a lot of talented hackers on this forum, and was wondering if anyone of you would like to take up my idea of porting the stock OUYA rom to another device. *hint hint NOOK HD* I recently got to demo an OUYA and thought how cool it would be for that to be a mobile platform. I believe the NOOK could handle it. I believe the NOOK does have bluetooth capabilities for the controllers.
Hi,
So it been a month that I am testing some china phone, gionee has some of really good quality. Well build, top materials and grat quality of displays too.
The problem with this phones is that there is no costum rooms for them and to be honest the software (android) SUCKS!!!
What I want to do is to build my own "MOD" to run on those phone. I know java quite well.
So my question is,,, What to I need to start learning to be a developer? I know that is a bit of an abstract question, but I need an advise. I have read all the posts from XDA University but the thing is. On that site you only explain how and android phone works.
I want to know what do I need to learn to build a kernel? Where do i find libraries? How to build a Bootloader? and finaly how do I get that to work with the radio?
