Stuck at Motorola screen, cant reload tiamat - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had successfully unlocked and rooted my xoom via the once click program.
I made a new lock icon and replaced the framework-res.apk, rebooted so the new icon would show.
It failed to reboot, it got stuck at M screen.
Power+VolUP = RSD Support 3
Power+VolDOWN = Starting Fastboot support
What do I do to get my xoom back?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Root it again using the one click. I had the same problem replacing framework. I ran the one click again and it worked

One click says it cannot find a device, going to try to flash a stock img.

This thread solved my problem,

[Q] Am I bricked?

I have a droid x2 that was rooted using oneclickroot through the pc, and it seemed to work out(superuser was there). Then I made the mistake of using droid 2 bootstrap instead of x2. I am at the circle "M" with no further progress. I have gone into recovery mode and factory reset multiple times with no luck of booting. I was going to flash(RSD 5.3.1 on vista32) VRZ_MB870_DTN-14.8_1FF_01.sbf, but the device is not showing. I have downloaded every driver I could find...still no luck. The driver that it asks for is SE DAYTONA FLASH DRIVER . The phone will try to install it every time its connected but doesn't succeed(MOTUSB doesn't go through). Any help is greatly appreciated.
Instal a custom ROM.
That should fix it then you can go stock.

How do I do that while in the bootloader menu(the screen with fastboot, rsd, recovery etc)?
EDIT: Ok, found how you do it. All I have is the stock sbf, would that work or do I need a different one? Im downloading affinity and eclipes right now just to test to see if it works.
EDIT: Tried both, non successful. Kept aborting the rom. Tried minimalx.zip and affinity.zip.
Did you say Droid 2? Try Cyanogen

i downloaded the matrix rom and i liked it but i wanted to go back to ice cream sandwhich for the day so when i tried to go to recovery it froze on the google screen while trying to get to recovery i kept trying and trying but my recovery wasnt working i couldnt get to it. so i went to titanium back up and clicked un-install all system and data because i thought it was when i restored all system and data from ICS but after i did the uninstall i kept getting a force close alot of things and i got all the way down to one and it was process.android i think and everytime i clicked force close it popped right bacj up instently. so i took out the battery and put it back in and now i cant power on my phone it gets stuck on the matrix screen. can you please help me i can only acces the volume up power button menu.
First of all try reflashing recovery (you know fastboot flash recovery), in that way you will be able to access recovery again then try to install your favorite rom, please make sure on is for your phone model and if it comes with a radio also make sure that it's compatible with yours

You need to have the fastboot drivers installed on your computer.

Flash Failure message during Restarting of phone

I installed the Supercharged Atrix V5 on my Atrix 2 and it works fine for two days. Than i installed the v5 update 2 and started facing force close issues.
I read the thread and downloaded the second larger file which is said to be restored in case of force close issues. I installed that also but even than faced the force close issues regularly.
So i thought to go back to Stock ROM through Fastboot Files. I tried to restore through RSD Lite but I got an error message saying "Flashing Failed".
And from than onwards whenever I restart my Atrix 2, i got a black screen of AP Fastboot and on top written "Flash Failure".
So every time i have to turn it off and than uses Three Button Method to go to normal powerup and than my phone starts with V5 loaded.
I don't know how to resolve this problem coz even factory resetting or any other method won't work for resetting it back to stock ROM.
Kindly help me out in resolving this flash failure issue.
Thanks in advance....

When starting the phone hold the vol up+vol-down button. Select normal boot, and if that doesn't work try reflashing the fkz

well do u guys have the right drivers installed? because i got a flash failure. but it was because my dog ate through my cord...
so went to walmart and got a cheap one and needed to install the right drivers. sadly i couldnt cause my phone was dead and i had soft bricked it. so i through it in the toilet and got a new one from best buy insurance! its bull... but whatever.
my advise is see how everything is connected and see if u have the right drivers. then flash the fxz file. also make sure u have the right fxz...
try the restore to stock script that is here somewhere, works wonders for me.
Hi man, I had the same problem but restored my phone without any problem... Can you explain in which step does the RSD lite flash say Flashing failed??? I mean, whenever RSD lite says flashing failed it'll quote the file that failed to flash. So I need you to quote the flashing failed error completely to resolve the issue
I'm using a Mac so I've been doing everything through terminal instead of using RSD. Perhaps I should find a Windows computer somewhere and do a restore from it? My phone works fine, it's just every time I turn it on it opens into fastboot but has the "Flash Failure" message across the top, and no S-off despite my phone being successfully rooted.

[Q] Stuck in boot loop, tried everything but still stuck.

Hello,
I had a rooted verizon galaxy s3 (CM10) and I recently got stuck in a boot loop. So I connected to Odin and flashed both MD5 files and the root66.tar file, booted into recovery and tried to do a factory reset.
The problem is my power button won't work in recovery mode, so I can not select anything in the menu. The volume buttons work I just cant select anything.
I've searched all over for 2 days now and I can't find anything about my problem, am I screwed or is there something I haven't thought of yet?
Thanks preemptively for the help.
bump please help
Maybe possible to send commands to phone via adb?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Which recovery you are using? Try twrp which recognises touch so no need of power button to select any option. I think class cwm also has touch based recovery.
Thanks doesn't hurt....
Thanks for the replies, I tried to run adb but just runs a lot of code then closes out. I tried to re-download and the same thing happened.
I was using the stock.vzw.root66.tar and BOOTLOADER_I535VRALF2.... I flashed them many times and nothing has changed it still just gets stuck on the 4G LTE screen. Where would I go about finding the recovery files you mentioned? I'm willing to try anything at this point.
Thanks again for the replies.

If it's stuck at the LTE logo, boot into recovery and factory reset.
Edit: to Odin flash CWM or TWRP, you can find both files in Open1your1eyes0's root thread in the dev section. Use either once you're rooted.

If you just want this to be fixed quickly, you could always flash a Full-wipe rom that contains the bootloader, etc. Then after your back in the stock rom you could always re-unlock the bootloader, install custom recovery , re-root and flash whatever rom you wanted.
Surge1223
Thanks for the replies, I've searched the internet for a full-wipe rom and I cannot seem to find one, can you point me in the right direction?
Also sorry for the delayed response, I actually graduated college yesterday.
EDIT: Now I can't get the phone to boot into download mode or recovery mode, the Samsung logo comes up and the screen goes black. I'm pretty sure my phone is ****ed.
What was the last change you made? Also are you using the oem cable? Also, heres the link scroll down to section 5. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762709

thank you so much for your help.somehow i got it back up and running
Had the same happen to me. It didn't want to go into recovery gave a message it failed. With some patience I manged to get the button combo to work for fastboot then did a flash-all of the factory image. I think the trick was it had to be plugged in to get to download mode and I think you may hit the power button slightly before the volume down. It was a bit tedious. I tried to recover the boot.img and that trashed things up worse, got no google loading logo or something odd. Anyhow flashing the full factory image fixed things!
Glad you got it resolved, maybe this helps someone else in the same spot.
