Since the new Sense 3.0 is ported to the Desire HD, I was wondering if the new HTC Sense can be ported to the HTC Wildfire.
I really like the new HTC Sense, so that's why
And if not because of the hardware limitations or what ever ->
Thats never gonna happen. Sorry.
Yeah the screen resolution is far too limited, and the processor is not exactly top of the range. If you are so desperate for it, the only feasible option at the moment is buy a device that supports/cant hack it on to
Check out custom ROM SFMv1.1.
It has ported Salsa ROM to WIldfire with Sense 3.0. Work is still

It's not exactly Sense 3.0. It's only the lockscreen and phone that is ported, everything else is still sense 2.1

I've seen Sense 3.0 on the HTC Sensation and it looks amazing Are there any developers that are already starting to incorporate Sense 3.0 into their ROMS?
open your eyes, bro

Yeah I found it in the DHD forum after I posted this I'm excited.
They just ported it to the Desire HD.

I don't really want that How long do you think before a stable release?
is it possible to get sense ontop of the honeycomb for our xooms? i loooove the the vanilla honeycomb but was wondering if it was possible.
also wondering if the scribe pen that the htc flyer uses is at all compatible with the xoom.
The htc flyer runs gingerbread with sense, so there isn't sense for honeycomb released yet.

HTC Sense is grounded into custom frame work that HTC makes. So you would have to do a lot of work just to get it working in a beta stage. Plus they don't have Sense on any Android 3.x device yet.

but seeing as how all android devices are gonna be under ice creamsandwich soon, and htc is more than likely going to have sense on it, would it then be possible to get sense on a xoom?

Yeah it's possible but its going to take A LOT of work.
FYI the HTC Puccini is going to be running Android 3.x and will have HTC's Sense.
I love Sense UI, don't get me wrong, but the Honeycomb UI is just so smooth and fluid on my Xoom. I don't think that I'd want Sense, or any other UI for that fact.

Sense would also slow it down (if thats what you mean).
Title explains it all really, I'm wondering if its even possible to port sense 2.1 to the sensation.
I like sense 3 and all but its just not stable, I would prefer to have sense 2....I miss my desire hd became of it.
But obviously this phone has many hardware advancements so I wanted to see if it was possible to have sense 2 on it, then its like the best of both worlds
should be possible since its a sense rom but id say a new kernel would be needed?
Possible ? Sure, but I don't think that You'll find a developer which will try to port 2.1 on a device already coming with Sense 3.0.
Sense 2.1 is only build for older devices and not for sensation for evo. 3d
I hate samsung's touch wiz, it's slow and laggy, even on dual core phones
I am planning to buy a new phone this holidays and I am planning to get HTC this time, I heard Sense 3.5 is good, but i haven't tried one yet.
Thoughts?
On my personal opinion Android without HTC Sense is boring.
Sense 3.5 is just amazing!

Got sense 3.5 with the new Android Revolution HD ROM and it's really nice. I really think HTC has got it working. Still I miss some features like variable icon size and possibillity to alter number of rows and collumn on the home screen. I get that with Launcher Pro though.

Sorry for my bad english
Sense 3.5 Tutorial?
I'm currently using Sense 3.5 from Remix 3D and I love it. Does anyone know of a good Sense 3.5 tutorial so I can be sure i'm not missing out on some cool features? Thx!
Both Sense 3.0 and 3.5 are nicer than CM7 or MIUI in my opinion. The problem comes with stability. I had issues with occasional reboots with my stock Desire and now with AceS v3 (and especially v4) I'm getting a lot of complete freezes.
MIUI does exhibit the problem, but it's not as nice as Sense IMHO
Is there anyway to port sense 2.1 on android 4.0? I'm just asking if it possible to do it?
Of course it's possible, but no developer here is going to do it so you had better start learning quickly and found a lot of reading if you want to do it yourself.

If you wat have a sense 2.1 look, try to download some comercial laucher like GO laucher and download any senser skin for it. If you want a sense clock in the fancy widgets you've got one.
I think so, i have try GO launcher and I have to confess that I'm not interest since it is just simulation. In my opinion, sense 2.1 bring a lot of more convenience for me from the lock screen to other features as well. From the sense 3.0 till sense 4.0 I fekt it is very heavy for our old generation phone. HTC Desire is my first android phone ever. Sense 2.0 give the best experience I never been through, HTC really try to make it better but it seem they are getting the wrong idea, it is just not simply brilliant anymore, anyway thank you very much. I will trying hard to build it my own then.
Simply said you can't. There is no way to make GB framework to work over ICS. Why don't you just use a Sense 2.1 ROM? I remember LBC was really good one
