Contacts not synching on 2nd PC

I have set up 3 relationships:
Home PC (WXP, AS45)
Exchange service (mail2web.com)
Work PC (WXP, AS45)
My home PC syncs fine, Exchange works fine, but on my work PC I first got several empty Contacts in Outlook (which were then synced back to the phone) and now after deleting them, AS shows all of my 87 contacts are in sync, but I don't see any single one of them in Outlook.
Adding a new contact on Desktop works: the contact gets synced to the phone.
Adding a contact on the Phone, doesn't work: an empty contact shows up in Outlook...
Anyone else had such problems? Any solution?

Syncing outlook with gmail (or any other) via BT ActiveSync

i am havin problems syncing my treo's outlook with my gmail account - and this goes for both pop or imap;
the thing is that i can browse the web, download weather updates for the htc home etc, get my calendar and contacts, sync the outlook inbox with the exchange server etc but i can't get the gmail synced;
all it does is that it says that it can't connect to the server;
i tried messing with the mailbox settings and the one parameter 'use X connection' seems to be the key - altho there is no right answer to that one, as when i'm connected using activesync over bt to my desktop, i'm not wap/mms/the internet/work connection;
does anybody know how to set this up?

Ok, when u first synced email, contacts etc, was it via active sync or through the exchange?
Have you configured ithe server options in the active sync settings to download when they arrive?
Also other option, have you configured how many days email to download in active sync/folders?
Try those for now, is usally one of them.
Also, check that the messages aren't archived for some reason.

I connect via ActiveSync. No Exchange Server. I have not set up any server so there are no server options appliable.
I set to sync "ALL MAILS"
No change. Only messages coming to my outlook while I am connected on AS will appear on my PPC as well.
I tried to uncheck the "Archive" one folder. But it won't sync either.
So, thats not the solution

mmmm.... most strange.... i assume urusing an sd card to store attachmetants? check down load size of attchments. i assume no eroor on active sync screen on connect? active ayncs options are configfure to sync when connected? describe wot happens when u plug in the usb to ur PPC?
OK I got it.
It was simply the configuration in WinMobile-Center Application on WIN VISTA that I had to configure to sync ALL MESSAGES no matter what size and date AND hat to mark all mail folders.
Done, working
great

Problem with Outlook Syncing to Phone

I have the HTC Touch Pro and am having difficulty with my work email account syncing properly with the phone. When I first got the phone and setup the outlook email through exchange the emails flowed into my phone simultaneously. However a week or so ago I accidentally cleared all my data back to the phone default settings as to when I bought it. My yahoo email still shows up properly, but my outlook account only syncs when I am at work logged into our system, or when I log into the exchange network. Once I log out of the system, the incoming emails stop showing up on my phone. Can you tell me why I wouldn't be able to get my outlook email at all times of the day, even when I am not logged into the system? Really it is pointless to only have my outlook email update on my phone when I am sitting at a computer viewing. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

Can't sync Google contacts via Push/activesync but Mail & Calendar OK.

I have a Touch Pro2 running the official HTC wm6.5 ROM (EUR).
I am unable to sync my contacts via activesync exchange server but Mail & Calendar are syncing OK.
If I tick mail and calender and then sync the device all works fine and sure enough the mail and calender is propagated. However if I tick contacts it starts syncing saying "syncing contacts 1/928" it gets up to about 30/928 then stops and says its finished. There are no contacts added.
I've never had this problem before. They sync perfectly on my Diamond (wm6.5) and Iphone 3GS.
Can anyone think what to try?
If you have Google apps, you have to allow 'Mobile Sync' in the Dashboard for the domain settings.
In regular Gmail, there is something like it I believe, but that is the issue...it is simply a matter of "allowing" it via a checkbox
