is there a limit for the kitchen??

hi
i have a problem which is, my kitchen declines any addings, i think there is a limit for the files.
because it heppened for me every time i want to cook.
when the buldimgs.exe wants to end there is a window appears and telling me there is a problem and i have to close it, when i remove the last package i added it will going well, the problem wasn't from the same package because i used many of packages to add but the same problem.
any idea??
i think somewhere in the thread...the kitchen creators mentioned that the nbf file can't exceed 56 megs or something around there...just because the rom space on the phone isn't larger than that. you usually have to cut out packages that you don't need in order to downsize it enough...
Yes there is..
if the CreateROM.exe shows an error means you been exeeded to the limit..
tnx brothers, i see

Your screen isn't multitouch so you can't press 2 points of the screen at the same time

Keyboard Lag FIX

So the keyboard lag on this device has been an issue and their has been a thread started on PPC Geeks with a Reg Edit that actually fixes it, to an extent...
With Total Commander:
-Windows
-Find "thread_sms.htm"
-File, Edit
-Then Delete the word "count" in the COMPOSESUBJECT line.
<Inbox:content id="COMPOSESUBJECT" width="98%" height=35 spell focus count links noclearonbackpresshold limit=0 autocap inserttab dynamicresize />
This gets rid of the character count, which keeps the lag from happening. So you either keep the character count (which isn't to important to me) or you get no more keyboard lag!! For me it's no-brainer, to others it may be different.
My question to anyone that wants to try and help me figure this out is how could we keep the character count, but change this to where it will only count once typing has seized for say 2 seconds, this way it is not counting while you are typing, which will eliminate the lag, but when you stop it counts, this way you can stop, see where your count is, and continue if you want. Or even a theory to not count, but to only prompt you once you have crossed the character limit for each message?
Any takers or help on this?

Has anyone else tried this? I just did and it is still counting, and the lag is still there.
UPDATE
I took the file from PPC Geeks and just overwrited it into the windows folder and now it works. Thanks for the tip!
UPDATE 2
The counter has popped up again. It got real slow and then the counter showed up at the top left. I don't see a difference in speed though.

For some reason some phones have been working with the overwrite and some will work fine with just editing it yourself, I edited it myself and it works flawlessly, I also changed not only the "thread_sms.htm", but I also changed the same exact thing in "thread_sms.ht". I'm not sure if it made any difference but I changed it in both places, see if that helps?

Cannot find download button on the Andy Market..!!!

Hi guys,..
Im trying to put access to android market via my ZT-180. I have followed the tutorial from how to flash, get the android ID, and copy it into the slate. I am very confidence that it works well as i ddidnt accross any error message at all.
But when it comes to test it on the android market, i have these problem:
1. On the actual site (opened from laptop) there is a vertical scroll to reveal more options of the apps. This scroll, is not viewable on my ZT for some reason.
2. I cannot locate any form of button to download or to buy, or any kind of button in that matter. All i can see is the app detail, with couple of pictures, developer info and thats it. No matter how hard i tap the bloody screen on those 2 images, nothing happen. I read somewhere that suggest ppl with the same problem to look for some push download or something like that, but again, i cannot find any of these..
Any help matey..? ta

Do large download sizes put people off?

(EDIT: Apologies, the thread title should have stated this is relevant to the market(s))
I'm considering creating a series of applications, some of which contain a database of images thus making the final apk size quite large.
Does large file sizes for reference programs (when the user knows there will be a large amount of data involved) put them off downloading it or do people prefer having things pulled from a host? (or even having a small app size but then asking the user to install xx MB to there SD card?)
I suppose the best option would be to have an option for both.. but just want to know what other dev's have done in this situation.
(P.S - First post.. lurked here for a while but mainly been at modaco )
Whats puts me off is when I want to buy a program and I know I will not be able to test it within 15 minutes because of the extra files needed after the install.
I'm not paying for something I can't test out, blame stupid Google for their 15 minutes refund policy.
i don't really like large size file
why not pull the images from the interweb when the app opens?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
It depends on what you mean by "large."
I don't want to spend time downloading an app that is a few hundred megs.
If it is only a few megs, I don't think of it as large though.
I'll also add that I don't want to download an app to find that I have to download more things to use it. If it is pulling data from a host, I don't want to experience any delays at all.
Thanks for the responses but I think I ended up answering my own question in the first post - have the option for both.
The best option from a dev point of view is downloading the extra files first, then the reliability and speed of hosting isn't as much of an issue as people won't need to access these on demand.
As I'm typing this post a 4th option has also become apparent - download all the text data in the beginning and for each entry you can pull the image manually.
Some of the apps are most useful on the go (Think: Wine lists/database), making using their mobile data compulsory would put people off I think.
Thanks for the advice
P.S By large I mean less than 70mb, which I'd say is quite large for a phone app)
