No recovery - G Tablet General

Looking for ideas before I open up the case......TnT Lite is working...I went from twotapsx back to TnT Lite. Followed the directions and everything is working great. The problem I have now is that I cannot boot into recovery. I get "recovery button pressed" message, but the g tab just sits there. I can press the power button to turn off and then I can power just fine. I'm looking for ideas on how to fix the recovery. NVFlash does not detect the gtab.
Thanks

I was able to fix the recovery with the terminal emulator.

[Q] ClockworkMod loading issue G Tablet

Hi, I have a problem with loding the Clockworkmod on my new G Tablet.
I downloaded the internal version and followed all the steps from the walk-thru here on this forum but when it says to hold the power button and volume up button i get the birds splash screen and two messages in the upper left and then it freezes.
It says:
Recovery key detected
Booting recovery kernel image
And then it hangs there until I press the power button and restart it to the normal screen.
Am I missing something or did I mess something up?
Thanks!
I am having the exact same issue, did you ever get this resolved?

[Q] Help for my Huawei Ideos U8150

Hi all,
I was trying to install a new Rom Dronix 0.4. Upon entering the bootloader I accidentaly somehow no idea how, deleted clockwork mod recovery that was on there and now just can't get into bootloader mode or even get my phone to start up past the 1st screen.I've tried volume up +green button and power button to try to get in,volume down + end call red button and power button no go.The only thing it goes into is if I hold the volume down button + call green button and power which takes me to the firmware update but just flashes and says unpack failed. The other thing is that if press the red and green buttons for calls and the power button it brings the screen to a purplish colour but does nothing as well.I've tried to get the computer to recognize the phone but it won't even after installing the usb drivers with windows xp and windows 7.Atm there is no ROM on the phone after deleting it,cache and dalvik cache. It's just empty with not even a bootloader to try and boot into, only hardware is available now.
I'm at a loss as to what and any help if trying to get it back and running would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

having a gtab problem BIG problem

I bought a used gtab that was preinstalled with BOS. Since its pretty outdated and doesnt really support flash, I wanted to change ROM. Some suggested Froyo and I got the link to download Frankentab. It is zipped on my gtab in the download file. I also got ROM manager off Market which states that I have ClockworkMod recovery 4.0.1.5 When I go to do the steps to unzip and install Frankentab, my system reboots and goes right to BOS. When I manually do it and dont go through Rom manager, I shut down the gtab and hold the power and volume + button, I get the "recovery key detected" message and right underneath is a "Booting recovery kernal image" message. THe screen is the start up screen for ViewSonic and doesnt go anywhere. Just sits on that screen forever. When I hit the power button again and the above messages leave, the View Sonic screen comes up and goes right into BOS. But no new rom. PLEASE HELP. I am desperate. Been doing this for hours with no progress.

[Q] Cannot boot into recovery

Hello guys,
I have a problem. I flashed todays CyanogenMod Nightly, but wasn't really satisfied with the overall performance and wifi signal strength. So I took the latest guevor kernel, which was not specifically for Megatron nor AOKP nor some other ROM. So I gave it a try. Now I have no wifi any more, and cannot boot into recovery via Rom Manager nor the "normal" recovery option the extended power menu. As a last option I considered the 2-button combination when the tablet boots. Now comes the blast in my eyes: It does not power off! After tapping on "Power off" it stucks.
I do have a backup but without booting into recovery I cannot restore ot obviously.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Hold the power button for 15 seconds. Then it will turn off. then hold volume down, THEN power, then press volume up. Voila in recovery!
try the reboot2recovery app from the market aswell. always handy to have around.
Thing O Doom, thanks, I'll try later.
scottyf79, that's the crucial point! When there's no wifi, there's no downloading this app. I've always used it but now I'm pi**** I can't.
Doom,
I try with power Vlo down then Vol up, But showing android with RED ! Mark.

The Android with ! is your stock recovery.
Seems like you lost CWM somehow. You'll need to install CWM or a custom recovery again.
If you're on a CM9 Nightly you have root, so just download rouge recovery or a recovery, take the file 'recoveryblob' out of the .zip file. Then put it somewhere on your transformer (Preferably MicroSD or root of internal storage: /sdcard/)
Then in the terminal emulator or adb run these commands:
Code:
su (Get pound sign)
dd if=/where/you/put/recoveryblob of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4
reboot recovery
Then you should boot, see a blue bar, and be put in recovery.

I need to got to their website .... Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on to, "Downloads" once on the download page, you should see a few tabs on the right hand side. One is the 633Mb file that has everything you need to put your system together. The other tab is the actual PDF instructions on how to preform this these tsks. Can add, once you have downloaded and opened up those files, you will see another "manual inside" if i recall correctly, the manual is in English, after the Chinese .....
Hope this can help
