Please port this MIUI ROM to Samsung Captivate

please port this ROM to Samsung Captivate, this is the best android ROM I ever used!

It was just ported to Vibrant so it shouldnt be long before we get a taste can't wait

Also they updated about 2 hours ago saying
Will add to OP tomorrow.
Both SD cards working
wifi working
Network location working
GPS working
Auto rotation fixed
Updated to Eugene373's newest kernel
Data partially working
So it will soon be a full fledged rom
So someone please contact them and ask permission to use there work and port to captivate

Moved to general as not android dev.

can i flash this rom and then flash speedmod kernel on my captivate?

Yeah, If you just flash to stock then flash the vibrant port you should be good. If you dont flash to stock you'll get a bootloop.

Pretty much...change kernel and modem and broaden your horizons.

Really? How do you make sure you don't brick the phone? Im on t-mobile and I'd really like to get wifi calling so could I use one of their roms to do that?

I wouldnt know about wifi calling.
As for brickage, odin is your friend.

wifi calling aint gonna happen by flashing a vibrant rom.....

Some of their roms have widow calling support in them... but im kind of a new to this stuff in case you can't tell

I have tried many of the Sprint Stock Roms but all Fail to update. Can someone tell me how to Use the PRL. zip files to do so? Thanks

BTW, when you say Sprint stock rom... are you running the official 2.1 sense ROM?

I could never update PRL with NFX. I use LiquidSense.

I use NFX all of the time. There must have been something wrong on Sprint's end because it wouldn't let me update my PRL until yesterday. I never use the dialer code though...about phone/system update/update prl.

yes...
use it only for installation of cwm..nothing else.
It has been noted by others user that rom manager does not play nice with the infuse.
if you are installing a rom using gtg's direction, use the cwm instructions set

qqq][Does anyone have any stable and good, or, ANY ROMs for Samsung Exhibit 4G? My phone was stuck in a boot loop and I tried to flash a rom to the phone, but I found out that I don't have any roms for it. I tried looking everywhere and nothing. So do you have any ROMs that could help? Thanks..
P.S Could a multi-rom work as well?

The referenced thread is for the SGH- T959 not the T759

I am getting the sm-217A soon.
I went to the rom section, but did not see rom specifically for 217A. Is there rom for the 217a?
