I use NFX all of the time. There must have been something wrong on Sprint's end because it wouldn't let me update my PRL until yesterday. I never use the dialer code though...about phone/system update/update prl.

Here is a new Sprint Hero 2.1 RUU (NOT ROM).
Enjoy.
per request- This will remove ROOT if you already have it.
RUU_Hero_C_Sprint_2.27.651.6_signed_release.exe
RUU, not rom, Please warn people that this will remove the root exploit if they run it as well.
Only reason we can possibly think of for posting this AND not expalining the results of running it, is YOU may wish to sit back and LOL at those who run this and can't get ROOT again?
And IF you have been reading the forums here, there are threads about this already posted and being discussed at length.
I call bs/troll.
i do not have a device to run it, so i have no idea, what the results would or wouldn't be.
so that is why. but who knows.
You guys are right, you are the ones that are using the device and everything else.
So where can I find 2.27.651.5.exe? so I can restore one and Root it? since
the one above, 2.27.651.6, cant b rooted again

Well First off the one click is not 2.2 but 2.1. The only Froyo roms out are cooked roms except for the OTA that Designgears posted months ago.

If you're running fully stock, please come by the IRC channel.
In fact, any full-stock Rogers users, please come by. I want to get an Odin TAR out for you all.
Man.. once I see this out I'll finally consider rooting my phone. Unless there is another way of getting the sliding glass unlock screen .. LOL.

Are you a stock I727R user? If so, you can speed up this process by dropping by IRC and working with me to get the dumps I need.

I have a SGS II-727 Rogers. Full stock and would like to help, I just need full instructions. Actually its my second one cause the first one was stuck on the screen with the yellow triangle so I managed to exchange it from rogers for a new one.

Hey guys,
I just got my hands on the inspire and i am understanding that going back to 2.2 will allow for a little tether usage.Could`nt get it to work on 2.3..Are these posted roms 2.2?

There are many custom roms that allow you to tether with your phone. I personally donĀ“t use it but if I am not wrong CoreDroid V9.2 (which is my current rom) allows you to do that....is not necessary to go back to froyo stock. The best way to find out is to search in the dev's forum the different roms or ask in the Q&A section.

Just curious, why does anyone want pure stock? Custom ROMS are the way to go! Or are these just in case you have to send your phone back so you don't void your warranty?

There's an APP by the ClockWorkMod Team that might help you to tether without having to downgrade your firmware:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.koushikdutta.tether
Hope it helps...
New OTA HTC is rolling out to Telus DHDs.
Rooted Telus 3.13.661.4 Sense3.0
Read OP carefully.
Edit:
Gene has now released a "normarl ROM" to flash via recovery, it's very stock on the latest build.
[ROM][26-Jan-2012]Inspire Prochloron[Sense 3.0][Telus 3.13.611.4 base]

Most if not all custom ROMs allow for tethering. That might be good advice except this thread is about ATT Stock ROMs and nothing to do with custom ROMs. Please stay on topic.
thanks for the links
