Stupid question, but does anyone have a mod that changes just the Ev to 3G, I've seen it packaged in full mods but most of them don't seem to suit what I'm looking for.

Actually, ive contributed a hell of a lot more than you have. And how did I crap on this thread or any other thread? I simply stated to try it himself. Its easy to do. You obviously havent seen the themes thread with my work or even some of the Mod threads ive created and posted in. You should keep your mouth shut when it comes to my contributions. to the OP, you can find the images used for this in the com.htc.resources if you are using a sense based ROM i guess. if you feel like attempting to mess with stuff. hope that helps.

On a personal note, Vince has always been more than willing to help me, and has done so on numerous occasions. And I have thanked him for it. So I do not agree wih this statement at all. And, I think hes funny.

To the OP noob, depending on your rom all your icons for the 3g will either be in framework-res.apk or com.htc.resources.apk. all you need to do is drag and drop the images you want in the /Res/mdpi folder making sure the names match. Push the apk back to your phone, reboot and all should be well.

PRL 01115 is now up...at least on the Sprint leaked Gingerbread rom.

Now the OP knows it probably shouldn't have gone here, he learned. He won't do it again. If he's gonna cry cause some anonymous person was mean to him, let him. If he laughs it off and doesn't take it personally and learns from it then there is no hard feelings, just like it should be.

If you KNOW it breaks stuff don't you think you should post that as a warning in the OP? Also you stated to PM you for a password when the file is not even password protected (and you call me a "noob").

I got the rom to some experienced rom hackers, and they haven't complained
The file is to protected, mediafire requests a password. the second file isn't, thats a changelog.
I didn't think I'd need to tell a dev, that is won't work out of the box:|

Just out of curiosity. Why would you password protect a file and make people converse with you instead of just posting the standard dicscaimler and posting openly like every other dev does.?

Password is there now, wasn't earlier for some reason. Most Devs on this site and others also post a warning if there is a chance of bricking your device. I know you put that it was for dev's only but you should know that people love to flash cutting edge stuff and get themselves into trouble. You should have at least posted a small warning to those that decide it's worth the chance to flash this.

I write software for a living, I just wanted to avoid the "this f-ed my phone up" stuff. no other reason.

Yeah, i know but it WILL literally mess up the phone. the radio is weird as well as the MMS is for ACG...So it needs some TLC...Also the recovery gets wiped.

That's great. But don't imply that you are the only one who did and that you presume to know what I'm running or where I get my **** from. There was alot of people posting that around that time. And phidelts probably would have had it out at the same if he hadn't rooted and deodexed it for us.

Well Rev accused me of being a troll once, I was new and on khal's V4 I seen 4g signal on my phone and I asked about it wondering how or what he did, I assumed he tweaked the radio and got us 4g! I didn't know **** about radio's then didn't know it was impossible all I know is I seen it lmao! Then after he accused me of trolling others came forward and were saying they seen it too so it was just a mystery after that. But I swear I was showing 4g signal! lmao
