Stupid question, but does anyone have a mod that changes just the Ev to 3G, I've seen it packaged in full mods but most of them don't seem to suit what I'm looking for.
Why not just do it yourself? Its easier than relying on others...

Actually, ive contributed a hell of a lot more than you have. And how did I crap on this thread or any other thread? I simply stated to try it himself. Its easy to do. You obviously havent seen the themes thread with my work or even some of the Mod threads ive created and posted in. You should keep your mouth shut when it comes to my contributions. notice i said contributed outside your own threads, i've seen your name on plenty of stuff, but in any thread i've seen you comment, its either, "use the search you stupid noob", "do it yourself", "lmgtfu" or some other not at all witty remark.

to the OP, you can find the images used for this in the com.htc.resources if you are using a sense based ROM i guess. if you feel like attempting to mess with stuff. hope that helps.

On a personal note, Vince has always been more than willing to help me, and has done so on numerous occasions. And I have thanked him for it. So I do not agree wih this statement at all. And, I think hes funny.

To the OP noob, depending on your rom all your icons for the 3g will either be in framework-res.apk or com.htc.resources.apk. all you need to do is drag and drop the images you want in the /Res/mdpi folder making sure the names match. Push the apk back to your phone, reboot and all should be well.
Hope that was better for you riggs.

Well said!! I agree 100%. Everyone else here had to read and learn how to mod their windows mobile devices and so should he. I don't mind helping someone out when they honestly can't find what they are looking for and I know how to help but when someone just asks for everything to be handed to them, thats just lazy and they will never learn anything...

I have no problem (and fully understand) the difficulties people have in searching and posting if English is not their native language (I know I couldn't survivie reading and posting on a board in a foreign language!), but based on other recent posts by Cujo316, I don't believe this is the case (completely). He appears to be just asking for handouts without doing any research at all. In one case, a link was given to him, and he replied back that he couldn't find that. I think its more a case of where he wants things handed to him based on what I've seen.
(BTW: I'm assuming cujo316 is a "he". Sorry if thats not the case, but its a pretty safe assumption 99% of the time around here )

Well you could just flash the rom over it, unless youve changed a bunch of other stuff (because you'd lose the other changes)
Or you could make a morph zip and apply it yourself

I have never used MetaMorph for sanity purposes, but you could always just flash a update.zip over it, with the black status bar. or I'm guessing if you changed it to white in MetaMorph, Im sure theres a way to change it to black.
