i got a defender for the same price.i wanted a commuter but it doesnt come with a holster.
The issue with those are that they are pre orders and not due in until sometime in April. I hate the idea of trying to keep mine scratch/ding free for another month.

I ordered it from Amazon when it was OOS 3 weeks back. I got it today and it was well worth the wait and got the case for 19.99
I would suggest get a $3-4 case for time being and order from Amazon. Who knows you may get it within 1-2 weeks.
I was in on the same deal and also had to wait but it wad worth it. Try your luck on Amazon.

I would not delay on getting at least some kind of case, I did because the ATT store had noting when I got my phone last week and I now have a small ding because the belt case I was using had no protection to speak of for the device corners and it fell off my belt. I got one of the Platinum case/clip combos from Best Buy and it will due until i can get an otterbox.

I actually got my Transformer yesterday from a physical store in CA -- Frys Electronics.
I got mine from a B&M Frys store yesterday too, but I don't think it's gonna help since as far as I know the stores that had them only have *ONE* each.
I was there at 8:20 and when I was at the counter getting the papers printed, someone else was asking for it.

Surprisingly I picked up mine today at the Tempe, AZ Fry's store. Just saw it online around noon and ordered it for an in-store pickup.
Then I was nervous for the next few hours I had to stay at work hoping it wasn't a mistake or they wouldn't accidentally give it to someone else. But I got to Fry's and held my breath at the counter and it felt like it took her forever to retrieve it, but she finally came back with it in hand.
I thought for sure I was screwed and might be waiting weeks for this thing to come in stock since I'm not the type of person to spam F5 on NewEgg at 3 oclock in the morning or get in a line at a retail store (like the Apple folks do). Think I just got really lucky this time I guess. It was the last one at the store.

I've been to bb today and the guy who couldn't tell me specific details buy he did say they are changing the desktop space for tablets and in may they will definitely have all tablets... I've been trying to get a date out of my two local Best Buy shops and the best I have been able to get is a single sales girl who said they got an email yesterday morning that said BBY would not receive them until mid May. That's these two stores at least.
I'm still going to bug the crap out of them though until I get one because without a date in their system it can still arrive tomorrow.
So I don't live in the US but I'm in need of a new battery door for the G2X.
Does anyone know where I can buy? Can't seem to find any on ebay.

I am in the same dilemma. Extended 3500ma batteries and covers for P900/999 are available on eBay for around 11-15, so I am going to go that way I guess.

I finally recieved the email from the company that had them on backorder. Not only have they clarified that these are only for wholesale customers, but the price went up to $30. from about $12.
I've got two now, so don't need one anymore. Just a heads up.

I sort of struck out, they told me to go to a service center for a swap and to bring my "broken" door. Mines not broken so...
I will go to the service center when I'm in the area however and see what I can do.

Thankfully no, It has a hole for the 2nd Microphone which lines up perfectly (on my phone, I will post pictures tonight, I have the Surface and Active Combos)

I went to Best Buy and had them price match Walmart at $149 on the white HOX. Although you can't beat amazon's tax free, depending on your state of course.
I ordered a pair of grey at&t 1Xs 3 days ago and they arrived yesterday.

I placed an order on the grey version last Friday but no ETA yet. The gold version is in stock though.
On Amazon I placed order for gray phone it was placed on back order. I canceled that order on Sunday. Placed new order Monday and it went straight thru. Phone will be here today Wednesday.

The Gold has gone out of stock and then back in stock while the Grey has remained out of stock the entire time. I called Blu's sales office (who lied on release day about it being Amazon's fault) and again they said that it was Amazons fault and i needed to contact them to see when the phone would be available. These freakin people, how do you run a company like this?

The screen on the Pure XL is outstanding for reading. Yes, it's better than the N6. I just need root!

No one is saying the gold is not in stock and available now. Some of us are skeptical about your claim to have purchased and received the *grey* Pure XL from Amazon without waiting. The grey has never been in stock according to Amazon's web site are there are people who have pre-ordered and have been waiting for it from the first day the page was up (Oct 19) without any word of availability from Amazon. It seems improbable to us that you simply ordered it last week and received it in a couple of days as you claim. So we'd like you to post a photo of your grey Pure XL.

Man, that's how I felt with the gold and pre order, not pre-order dilemma. My decision to wait a day to do my pre-order cost like one extra day which at that point had already been way past the whole 9/29 original date was my feeling. Phone is worth it. You'll love it. Now, I wonder if the black will ever surface. Fortunately I wanted the gold to begin with!
