[Q] Replacement (stock) LCD Questions - G Tablet General

So, I stepped on my grab last night and apparently broke the LCD panel at the top (the exterior glass is ok, touchscreen stillworks perfectly). I know the stock replacement panel is a B101AW06. Searching online, I see 3 versions of this panel (0, 1, and 2) does anyone know the differences between 1 and 2? Anyone know which version is currently in gtab?
Also, I see they are available in a glossy and a matte version. (link below). I assume ours is glossy, has anyone seen or tried the matte version?
Finally, has anyone ordered a replacement screen and can recommend a reliable vendor?

[Q] Cracked Screen Replacement

Anyone know where to get replacement glass for the XT720 other than some sketchy ebay listing? Or if you have had experience with a specific auctioneer that would be helpful as well.
Dropped the phone last week and have a crack from the top edge by the light sensor all the way to the bottom above the home button. Still fully functional though.
Thanks.

[Q] Atrix 2 "confidential" digitizer

Hello, where I work purchased an atrix 2 with a broken digi and we ordered a replacement to repair it. When the digi came in we noticed it had "confidential motorola property not for resale" on the side with a number beside it. It works fine it's just kinda weird/cool
I'm just looking for more information on how it could have gotten out and the part itself, etc.

Looks like an early run of the hardware.
The Motorola and AT&T logo placement is the same as the photos that leaked when the device passed the FCC.
Me too...
I just received my replacement digitizer and the screen is almost identical, besides the different number.
After you installed did you now have a "lip" around the screen... It almost appears to have thinner glass than the original glass.
Also, my digitizer and LCD seem to be touching in one spot. Not sure if defect or installation error.
Thought i might have missed a step when re-installing... help?

Nexus 5 screen repair questions.

Anyone have any idea why a glass only option hasn't become available for the N5 yet? I know it took a while for other parts suppliers to come up with aftermarket digitizers for the N4, due to having the touch sensor overlay attached to it. But the N5 is nice enough not to be built that way, so if you break the glass, the touch screen still works.
Now I haven't seperated a lens yet, but I assume it's like an S3 or S4, and the touch imput is built onto the lcd panel. That should mean a relatively cheap glass only replacement option should be doable.
Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong? I've got a broken N5 and a working N5, but I've had too much fun testing roms on the broken one to want to do the seperation yet, so maybe the stack up prevents a glass only replacement. But I've delaminated N4s, G2s, S3s, and S4s, and replaced just glass/digitizers only, so I know the difficult process for doing it, and that it should be possible.

Thanks.. Got a replacemnt at new Delhi gaffar market ... Just 2900 inr .. 40 dollars
I have ordered this one
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Fast...90.html?spm=2114.13010208.99999999.274.5R2YVv
for a common dreaded problem of having vertical green lines appearing on LCD from nowhere (although my fault, it got it dropped on flat floor from my shoulder height a couple of times). In my case the green lines are appearing on the edge panel itself only, so the old LCD maybe useful for me to keep just for an emergency replacement as well.
Does this one looks ok, I mean any of the replacement LCD+Frame+Digitizer combo ordered from either ebay or china would rather be coming from only a handful or sources (resellers), and maybe only one or two manufacturers (who might be manufacturing it as OEM as well).
How was your experience with the replacement LCD, does it looks and feels just like original in screen clarity, colours and touch responsiveness.
Thanks for sharing your experience.

My phone is working fine to this day without an issue. I don't know how that particular replacement will be. Let us know when you replace your screen.

Quality replacement screen & frame

Hi,
I have recently dropped my Mi 4C (3gb version, if that even makes a difference), cracked the screen and damaged the digitizer. I searched for a replacement screen & frame assembly on ebay and out of a dozen similar options chose one. I received and installed the screen without issues, but the picture quality is rather disappointing. The screen is not as bright as the original one with a noticeable yellow tint. If the latter can be remedied a bit by adjusting color temperature from the settings, the screen brightness is a real bummer. The original screen wasn't anything exceptional when it comes to using the phone outside in the sunlight, but the replacement one is just miserable... This leads me to my question:
Do any of you have experience ordering a replacement screen and actually getting a high-quality one? Where do you order them from?
Cheers,
A.
PS. Maybe I would have been luckier ordering a screen separate from the frame -- there are even more merchants to choose from, but I thought I'd save myself some gluing trouble...
This one was like the original
Hi, i've damaged my screen too and ai bought this :
