Hi,
I installed CM6.1.0. Then after installing googleapps tiny I get under title "problem loading widget".
Please tell how to find out which app is causing it and then how to fix it.
Also prior to CM I had android 1.6 and it was using 3G for network. Now it shows E. The speed is bad. is it that at same location I get different services ?
Earlier radio was 1.22.12.29 and with CM I installed radio 2.22.23.02. could it be problem.
Regards,
SOLVED

Hi, I have strange problem. Somehow my WiFi on my SDA stop working, it want turn on.
When I checked with Wlan Uitility, phone gives me a "Driver is not loaded" message, when I click on WiFi in Comm Manager - nothing.
I'm using latest WM6 ROMs from this site, I even try with original WM5 T-mobile rom, still nothing.
Did I kill WiFi somehow ? Is this possible at all.
Radio: 4.1.13.28_02.61.01
RTL: 2.002
CE OS 5.2.1616 (18120.0.4.0)

Well, I cleared it like 20 times in this process, that was the first thing I tried. And yeah, I gave the phone to kid for a few days, maybe 'little devil' installed something, but he wan't addmit
Any other solution? Can I dump somehow ROM from my working phone? Maybe that could help? And what is the software for that?
Thanks
Any one found the solution?
Best regards
I installed Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo RLS12 All Lang Themed on my POLA100
When connecting to my wifi is says: Obtaining IP adres from wifi, then it stops and then my connection is disabled.
Am I the only one with this problem?
same here, you are not alone
can anyone help us pls?
Same here no IP assigned...no wifi
two simple question:
how do you "install" it?
which radio version do you have?
Same thing happened to me using radio 1.59.44.02 so I flashed radio 1.65.38.14 and voila. GPS works fine as well.
Regards,
Gunner22
I've got the same problem on my Pola200 (XDA Orbit 2), radio 1.59.42.15d3 (original from O2) with the Froyo installations:
- Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo RLS12 All Lang Themed
- VaniljFroyo RLS2
I installed them from SD card with haret.
I also tried VaniljEclair RLS8b: with Eclair it works. But I prefer Froyo because of better performance and design.
I have RLS12 with radio 1.65.38.14 installed on NAND and I am having this problem. (I have also tried one of the 1.59 series radios and it did the same)
I had RLS11 running on SD and wifi was working.
Try to reflash system on nand, sometimes doesn't work correctly and after update radio i suggest to reinstall system.
1.) Reflashed polaimg-panel3-320-froyo-26-07-10.nbh
2.) Reinstalled Incubus26jc's Super Froyo (RLS12)
3.) Tried wifi again... still broken
4.) Restarted then did a reinstall and wipe of data...
5.) Wifi now works!
Thanks!!
Hi!
I have the same problem. I flashed my Pola 100 with the
Polaimg-panel3-320-froyo-26-07-10.nbh and Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo 2.2 RLS12
It's just saying "obtaining IP address".
Then I thought "a radio update couldn't be bad...". So I updated it to Polaris_Radio_1.64.08.21. It still didn't work. Then I read l1qu1d's post:
"Try to reflash system on nand, sometimes doesn't work correctly and after update radio i suggest to reinstall system."
...and reflashed my Pola 100. It still didn't work, so I looked for the newest radio update and updated my phone to Polaris_1.65.38.14.
You'll know the result: Still "obtaining".
I just have no idea anymore. Please help me!
EDIT (2. August): Now I tried Polaris_Radio_1.65.30.09 - still not working - and assigning a static IP to my Pola100 - also not working.
P.S.: Just a question. What's the matter with the PIN code? I know, that I have to deactivate it. But why doesn't it work with our android flashed phones?
@skaterbub2003 reinstall the system. PIN doesn't work because none wrote the kernel part to make it works, there are other priorities.
Well, so let's try it again.
Oh, and thank you for answering my PIN-question. Didn't mean to criticise the work of the coders. I just was curious.
Hi.
My pola100 is stuck on obtaining ip address too.
First, I've installed android on nand, wireless didn't work, so i flashed new radio and wireless still not working.
Finaly i reinstalled android on nand again and stil not working
My rom is Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo RLS12
My radio is Polaris_1.65.38.14
Can anyone help??
(sorry for my english)
As suggested from l1qu1d, I reinstalled the system again (twice). Both times, the problem with "obtaining the IP-Address" remained.
Well, has somebody an idea?
ROM: Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo RLS12 (26/7/2010)
RADIO: Polaris_1.65.38.14
I have the same problem.
RLS11 on NAND: work fine.
RLS12 on NAND: don't work.
any solution?
Ok, i fix that.
The solutions is don't use "install-seq.sh"

Hehe, no problem, and sorry for my bad english, I'm spanish
I think the problem is in permission, i fix it when i came back to italy.
Hi Guys,
my first post here and hopefully not the last
Got the same problem on my pola200, using the super froyo rls12 with 1.59.46.12 radio.
the other radios i tested didnt let me phone, and i think a phone should be supposed to phone primaly ;-)
Im using the haret boot variant as long it doesnt work right.
As i read u solved the problem, but i dont get a clue out of your hints. What should i use instead of install-seq.sh? Cause if i remove it and try to install the system it just hangs resulting in a scary kernel panic...
Update: Ok, got it now. The phone did boot up so fast that i did had no chance to start the installer, i need to hold the required buttons before the message to push the buttons appears
lets see if it works now
Update 2:Yes, it works! As you thought l1q1d, the problem lies down somewhere in the permissions. Using the "Fix Permission" tool from the Android setup tool did fix the Problem.
Hello everyone, I'm new to xda but not new to rooting and stuff
However I need help
I rooted my Wildfire a while ago..and then i installed some font...which messed my stock rom
receving no technical support over email or service centre, i manually flashed cm7
...
all goinig well but there is no 3g connection at all...the phone keeps on rebooting when i turn on 3g....and 2g is incredibly slow!!!!!!!!!!
I hvnt s off 'ed my wf but hv rooted it successfully..I'd like to know if s off is needed for radio flash...pl help me
How should I s-off my rooted wf??
Hello, i solved this issue.. I was on the radio 3.35.20.10 which is the newest. I flashed the latest rc1 cm7.2. Yes (3g and H) mobile network works flawlessly.. changing a few type of internet build prop values of cm7.2 will lead to rebooting when turning on mobile data
I won't be of any help but I have the same problem: I can't remember when I have noticed it the first time - my Wildfire keeps on rebooting if I switch to 3G.
Initially I thought that one of the different modes (2g/3g only, 2g or 3g etc.) would cause the problem but I have tried everything without any success.
If I find the time I'll probably try a newer nightly to see if this will help.
AFAIK I'm on the newest radio (flashed it a while back due to the well known radio problem).
Anyone with a helpful hint?

Hm, I'm not sure about your solution - could you be a bit more specific? I've already done a lot of things to get rid of the problem - including flashing newer versions of CM7 - currently I'm on the 20120420 nightly. Release date for the newest RC1 is 20120314 if I'm correct - so it looks that this didn't solve my problem.
Furthermore I flashed the radio again (inspired by this thread) - without any help regarding the bootloops. I'm really close to do an RUU update - but I usually rely on good old traditional computer wisdom: "never change a running system" XD
If someone with a bit more understanding of the changes in build.prop could give hints what (which values) exactly could be the reason for the problem this would be really helpful.
So I got myself a Desire S.
Problem is, everytime I switch the WIFI toggle to ON, it would say
"Turning On..."
for a little bit, then It would say "Error", and everytime I try to toggle the BLUETOOTH to ON, it would say the same and just returns to "OFF" position.
Status of the phone before rooting and flashing:
"LOCKED"
SHIP S-OFF
HBOOT: 2.000.20
Radio: .....10.08.04_M
I tried flashing several ROMS including the Kernel(BOOT.IMG) via Fastboot;
Virtous Quattro RC3
Reaper V3
IceColdSandwich 7.5
CM7.1 NIGHTLY
also tried flashing to stock RUU with Radio and HBOOT versions;
Gingerbread 2.3.3 --> Europe and Asia Versions
Gingerbread 2.3.5 --> Europe, Asia, India Versions
Currently on Stock Gingerbread 2.3.5 Rooted through Superoneclick
Until now the issue persists. I'm wifi and bluetooth less.
I've tried searching Google, found some "USB-BRICK" topic on the DESIRE forum, didn't work.
Motorola forum, mentioned a reflash of the Radio.
HTCDesireSForum mentioned a reflash of HBOOT and Radio.
Here in XDA, it mentions that in flashing ROMS, on HBOOT 2.00.20 you have to flash BOOT.IMG from the zip file of the rom via Fastboot.
Tried and failed. I'm beginning to think this is a hardware issue.
Anyone with an idea why or to a solution?
nobody? I haven't found any solutions so far. I really hope someone could help or atleast point me in the right direction
Any updates on your issue?
Have you tried bringing it in to service centers? It looks like a hardware problem.
your issue should just revolve around changing hboot, radio and rom.. I cant think of anything that could affect those hardware..

unfortunately no. I didn't give it anymore thought since I'm using it only for camera and music.
Have you tried the latest radio.. I think its worth a try..
Flash hboot of your choice and the latest radio and stable Rom choice.
I really don't think these hardware break that easily..
Sent from my HTC Nexus One using XDA

I'm not sure about the bluetooth, but I may have a fix for the WiFi.
I have a One S and I started getting the same error when I tried to turn on the WiFi. It turned out that my wpa_supplicant.conf file became corrupt somehow. I just deleted /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf and it fixed the problem.

Open your own thread. Don't jump on the end of someone else's thread unless you are contributing or you have exactly the same issue - which you don't.
Just flashed the 11/04 CM10 and the 11/4 kernel last week. And the new 10/11 GAPPs. Love it. Battery life much better. Several issues resolved. Even the GPS lock on maps is much faster. However, when I try to use the navigation, it locks up and I no longer get the navigation icon in the task bar. It just says waiting for location. It does show the GPS navigation lock though. I did the 11/18 kernel update but no luck. I have reinstalled the rom and the kernel again. Also uninstalled and reinstalled maps with the navigation but still nothing. Anyone else having this problem? I've looked through the posts and not found anyone else with similiar post after this flash. If no suggestions, where is the link for the old kernels and GAPPs?
Currently version 4.1.2
Kernel version 2.6.35.7-I997UCLB3-CL977492-g9951ac1 (Also tried flashing back to g5674fa6 from 10/28 without success).
CyanogenMod Version 10-20121104
Thanks
