I am trying to use SWM to install the DroidXIME-nonroot.apk on an HTC Aria using Windows XP.
When I choose the file I get the ready to install screen but when I push ok I get the following error:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continure, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Could not find a part of the path [my chosen path]
When I click continue I'm brought to the home SWM page but am unable to click Go.
I read that this is because I need the MDAC program for Windows. However, I was told I am unable to install the download because of my version of windows. I then read that I needed to overcome this problem by doing a windows service pack update; which I did. However, I am getting the same problem and am beyond frustrated.
Can someone help me please????
I've developed two very simple apps for my nexus s. I've installed the first one without any problems, but when I try to install the second one I get this error message: "Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_ALREADY_EXISTS]". The apps are two completely different apps created under two different projects. I've tried signing both with the debug key and I've also tried signing both with my own private key but I still get the same error message. I even tried signing one of them with the debug key and one with my own private key and I get this error message: "Failure [INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_INCONSISTENT_CERTIFICATES]". How do I install both apps on my phone?

Sounds like you are using a package name that already exists.

i used to use MultiXapInstall to install XAPs but from two week ago.. i'm unable to install XAPs through MultiXapInstall (and the others xap installers )..
when i try to install a xap i get this error :

Connect() :: Class not registered
at first i get :" parameter is incorrect " error so i use some Registery Cleaner programs and after that i got this class not registered error..
What should i do?!

Reinstall the official SDK. One of the required components was probably removed or corrupted. I also tend to recommend against running any of those "registry cleaner"-type programs...
Just for the record, I assume the official XAP deploying tool isn't working right now either?
thank you for reply.. i reinstalled WPSDK but nothing changed. i still "get class not registered" error..

There's apparently a leap day bug affecting Zune; it might be related? Try again tomorrow. If that doesn't work, the only thing I can think of is to either try a different PC, or to completley remove WPSDK and Zune, reboot, then re-install them.
i reinstall both WPSK and zune several times. and now when i try install an app or a game with Multi Xap Install the application Stops Working and making me close it..
this bug is killing me!!
Try using the official XAP deployment tool, and see what error it gives.
excuse me.. what is Official XAP Deployment Tools? i searched but nothing found
if you mean installing via Zune.. it's ok with no problem.
P.S: when i try with WPV XAP Deployer i got this error :

Something like this happened to me a while back. Are you sure your installing the right developer tools. I'm assuming you have mango. Dev tools should be 7.1

I mean the "Application Deployment" tool (xapdeploy.exe) that comes with the SDK. I don't think you can get much more official than that. It's relatively feature-poor, but it's also both less buggy and gives better error messages than most of the third-party deployers.
You should try using the official XAP deployment tool installed with the SDK. It's on your start menu Also make sure that Zune is launched.

I changed my devices name to lumia and tried deplying a game and it worked so i guess
changing the name is the solution. I got suspicious about the name because usually my phone's name appears as windows phone but this time it was windows phone 09832 or something i dont remember the exact numbers but it works for me.

Starting up Memu console.exe and clicking play on any of my VM's MEmu_1 to MEmu_15 i get this error. i reinstalled the current version yesterday and it loaded perfectly. i really dont want to re import all my image files again, is there a way to fix this error?

still no replies huh. well ive decided to uninstall MEmu's current version and im reverting back to the old one.
im tired of all this ****ty error bull****, no other emulators require additional options to be enabled and drivers are always getting blocked "unassigned driver" plus the error i mentioned above.

i actually copied an apk from a speacial customized device and that application is working perfectly in that customized device.. but when i install this apk on other mobiles/tablet/emulator its giving me a specific error on every device.. even android versions are same and different but i got same error.. now i need someone who can decode my apk and find the reason of error and help me to bypass this error on other devices ... i also have access to device on which it working perfect so we can get logs of that device also ... kindly inbox me with ur contact whatsapp/skype/email as soon as possible with ur project fees
