[Q] Meganoid and rotation sticking - HTC Inspire 4G

I'm curious if anyone has seen a similar relationship: I have read several posts about devices that will randomly stop rotating, and only a reboot will restore the function. I had never experienced this problem until installing and playing Meganoid yesterday. After playing I noticed that the screen will sometimes stop rotating, either getting stuck in landscape, or refusing to switch to landscape. I contacted the developer and was told that they don't mess with the rotation settings so its not their problem. However, I noticed after launching the game that the notification bar switched to landscape even when I am holding the phone in portrait (similar to most games...). I have since uninstalled Meganoid and now have no problems with the rotation sensor (note, I have several other games that play in landscape). Any thoughts or similar experiences?

[Q] CM7/Gingerbread & Youtube Auto Screen Orientation Issue

Hey guys, finally got CM7 onto my HTC Vision/T-Mobile G2. Loving it.
However there's one small thing that's been bugging the snot out of me.
I turned off Auto Orientation since I like using my phone while I'm lying down in bed (so I'm usually turned to the side). I'm not a fan of Accelerometers on phones in general. Youtube obeyed the Auto Orientation of Froyo, but Youtube in Gingerbread doesn't. This ONLY happens while playing a video. The Youtube application itself (browsing my subscriptions, searching for videos, etc) works fine, but once I get it playing a video, the phone tries to be "helpful" and play in widescreen/sideways mode whenever I move it around.
The only way I can force it to be the orientation I want is either by pulling out the hardware keyboard (which keeps it in permanent landscape mode) or by double tapping the video (which forces it to go into portrait/landscape mode).
Any way to turn off Youtube's auto orientation change in Gingerbread? I tried using Smart Rotator to force Youtube to listen but it doesn't work.
I tried a bunch of apps from the market but I can't seem to turn it off either. I was so excited to see disabling rotation built into 2.3 with CM7 too.
I'm running CM7 on Droid Incredible.

Issue with rotation / waking up / odd stuff

Hi!
My Sensation has been experiencing some weird behaviours.
Although the rotation is locked on the rom (I tried several, all same issue), it still rotates. The only way to stop this is through the launcher options and force vertical mode.
It wakes up during the night, out of the blue. Nothing running, no processes waking it up.
Sometimes I'm browsing stuff (like this morning, browsing the TB backup list), and it kept going back like I pressed "Back" button.
Now, I tried several roms since, all same behaviour (Sense, AOSP, CM, etc..).
Used an app to test the sensors, they all seem to be responding accordingly, although I don't exclude a sensor issue, for some reason it shows normal behaviour in everything else. The rotation works properly as in, turning the way it should, but if it's locked, why it keeps rotating?
Did anyone ever experienced anything like this? I searched on google / xda, there's some odd cases here and there and either they ended up being sensor files being corrupted or uncalibrated.
Anyone care to shed a light on this?
Thank's a lot
Update: New sympthom, on Sense 3.6, it seems like Dock Mode is being called randomly too. This makes me consider a sort of loose contact or alike :S
Anyone?

[Q] Phone stops auto rotating

I've came upon a bug and wanted to see if anyone rise has encountered it. Randomly my phone will not rotate from portrait to landscape. Once chrome actually got stuck on landscape and wouldn't go to portrait. Disabling and enabling rotation seems to fix the issue temporarily. I can't seem to pinpoint what's causing it. Everything is stock still, the phone is rooted and I'm using the Google Now launcher.
Google Now Launcher doesn't let you rotate the screen into Landscape, you'll need Xposed + GEL Settings or Nova Launcher/Apex to allow it to put the phone into landscape mode while on the home screen.
Happened to me all the time in cm11 snapshot m9. Never happened o me otherwise.
I think it's a bug. It happened to me sometimes and it takes a while to rotate.

Mate 9 keeps crashing on game launches, landscape rotation etc

Hi everyone!
So I've recently purchased a Mate 9 and while I absolutely adore most aspects of the phone, there's a high number of crashes every day that keeps bugging me.
Ever since I got it (like literally Day 1) it has been crashing on like 80% of all game launches (tested with a dozen of games, it happened randomly and not with distinct games for example), on around 50% of all landscape rotations in photo apps, on like 20% of all landscape rotations and lastly, on around 10% of camera usage and viewing.
I'd assume it is an issue with the gyro sensor being buggy or whatever because it basically is limited to the screen's rotation but I'm not sure.
Did anyone else experience this? Does anyone know how to fix this?
My Mate 9 has the most recent firmware, is neither rooted nor equipped with a custom ROM - I'd prefer to not just factory reset it, so if you have any ideas on how to avoid that, I'd be very thankful! <3
Had bunch of problems on my 432, like voice command problems, Google Calendar sync issues and similar. Factory reset and installing Google calendar fixed them all.

Screen Rotation Problems

Hello Everyone,
I'm having an issue with my new Pixel where after being on for a few hours, auto-rotation on the screen becomes extremely laggy. It will take up to 30 seconds for the screen to rotate when I change the phone from portrait to landscape or vice-versa. A reboot resolves the issue each time, so I don't think that it's hardware.
I really don't want to go through the process of setting up another phone, so exchanging it isn't at the top of my to-do list. Has anyone experienced and fixed this issue successfully?
Thanks!
