xperia x10 mini pro custom rom - General Questions and Answers

First of all, hi!
I recently flashed CyanogenMod6-v3.2.1b to my phone and I'm having some issues, and since I can't post on the original thread (being a new user), I decided to try my luck here.
Some of the issues I'm having are:
Native Froyo Apps2SD doesn't work
Having problems installing some apps (i.e. Angry Birds), even trying to install my backups of the apps I made in Titanium.
I have looked through the post, and it appears other people had the issue involving apps, but I tried the solutions posted, and doesn't work for me.
Any suggestions?

Disregard this post, just posting until I have 10 posts

[Q] X10 2.3.3 mobile internet issues

Edit: whoops, probably would have been better to post this in the actual X10 Q&A, if any kind mod could move it, it would be appreciated.
Hey all, not having posted 10 times I cant post this in the appropriate developer's thread but I hoped i could quell the issues here just the same
After having issues upgrading my xperia x10 using SE's official updating program, from 2.1 to 2.3.3, I headed over here to find a .ftf file that I could use Flashtool to do it myself. I grabbed one ( i think it was from Androxyde's thread), and flashed it.
I thought it best to root it right then and there, so i hopped over to DooMLoRD's thread, and noticed when i plugged in my phone to start rooting, that my phone wasn't receiving mobile internet. I rebooted my phone again, and it still wasn't back.
I know its a new firmware, and that any copies that aren't official might be slightly dodgy, but I was wondering whether anyone could suggest anything I could do? Any ideas at all would be appreciated (and it doesn't appear to be on my service providers end, it was working fine before I updated)
Pre-emptive Thanks

[Q] Polaris Office Issue

I have searched and found a couple of threads about Polaris Office, but none of the downloads linked in those threads seems to work for me. I am running EB 2.3.3
I noticed in the thread that claims all the original apk's are included that it does not include Polaris.
How do I get a working copy of Polaris? Is it possible to restore the stock rom and back up Polaris using Titanium Backup and then restore it after loading EB? Has anyone done this?
I'm sure I have missed something in a thread somewhere. Just point me in the right direction.
Thanks for your help.
Here is the APK from the stock ROM. Not sure if it will work on a non stock ROM but you can give it a try.
Works like a champ. Thank you very much. I will track down those other threads and direct them to your link, because I was not the only one having issues.
Thanks again.

[Q] Cyanogenmod 7 for the samsung galaxy ace

since i am not yet allowed to post in the developer section of the xda-developers forum, i wanted to ask my question here. since one of the first builds of cyanogenmod for the galaxy ace appeared, i had installed it.
the installation went fine, but seeing as though the proximity meter did not work, wifi had some problems, and multiple apps were randomly crashing from time to time, i was forced to fall back to the stock android.
since then a couple of new nightlies came out for this phone (one of them is rather recently released). the official thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1543521 .
what i wanted to ask is if there is anyone out there that tried the latest nightly build, to confirm the problems i named above are all solved.
the second question i had is, if i have a galaxy ace with baseband version xwks2, can i just flash a rom with baseband ks9 on it for example?
any help would be greatly appreciated, and i would like to apologise i could not leave a comment in an existing thread.
go to cwr and wipe date, wipe cache again, it's may have some wrong when you install this rom ?
but i think cm7 on galaxy ace is not work well, you can try myth, i thinks it's best rom for galaxy ace
sorry for my bad Eng
will do
thanks a lot there nicknayemclone ,
i have alreadyy tried wiping the cache and dalvik and everything, but the problem keeps occuring. the annoying thing is, if i use the stock android i also have slight lags(same thing when i just bought it). i have heard about myth, but i would like my rom to be as close to vanilla android 2.3 as i can get . myth seems like its to hard on my phone to run as smooth as cyanogenmod

[Q] Unroot Asus ME127V?

Hey everyone, I apologize in advance for my ignorance here. Mods, I searched for this to the best of my limited ability, and I don't think this exact thing is covered elsewhere (and I can't post in the Developers forums with a new account). If I'm mistaken and this is addressed, or if this is not the right place for this question, I apologize--please move it accordingly.
I have an ASUS ME127V which I rooted and installed Clockworkmod Recovery following the guides here in the Dev forums (this was about a year ago, so things may have changed in the interim).
Recently I've become aware of the SSL issues with Android 4.1.1, so I'd like to restore my tablet to stock and upgrade my Android version, but unfortunately I'm just coming up short every time I try to do this. I've tried the AMPC beta app that's linked to in the dev forum, but haven't managed to get it to work, partly because I'm not certain what other files I need.
Can anybody point me toward a simple step-by-step for unrooting/removing CWM/returning to stock?
Thanks for your help and patience.

[Completed] K1 Ideapad Lenovo - Khanning ROMS Lost to Webhole

I did something stupid. I made an assumption that things were as I remember them... It's been years since installing multiple partitions with different OS on a machine and I've forgotten almost everything I know and times have changed.
I purchased a used K1 with honeycomb and had hoped to install ICS with google play services/store. Simply wanted a device to surf and play a few games.
Installed ICS, flashing it without problem and thinking I would simply install GPS afterwards... that didn't happen.
After some research found that khanning88 had made a ROM ready to go. Thinking the end result was within my grasp, low and behold the ROM is no longer available and I have searched relentlessly for almost a week now, torrent sites, Russian forums, anywhere to try and find the ROM. I'm thinking it may no longer be out there and I am back to square one.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1564002
I'm not sure where to proceed, if someone would know of a repository where this file might be found or should I start learning how to integrate GPS into my own ROM similar to what Khanning88 had already accomplished.
Thank you,
~ Kip
