Does CM7 have a .conf file for wifi settings that I can delete to reset the configuration? In Froyo it's /data/wifi, but that doesn't exist in CM7 (Gingerbread).
Help!
Why not just change the settings, or post your question in the cm7 q&a
CM7
I need to wipe the settings, entirely. And I posted in CM7 with no reply from anyone.....any help would be appreciated.
Please use existing threads instead of opening a new thread. Give them time to answer. Remember CM 7 is still beta

Hello XDA Community!
So I just switched over to Xboarders 1.2.2 after trying out several roms and I am having a problem sending mms with the rom... I've looked thru the developers post and the problem is common and there is a fix posted that has to do with changing the apn, but no instructions or details are provided, furthermore I only have one apn setting configured on my phone and it says its not editable ... on the Q&A sections there's many topics regarding mms but none related to Xboarders rom so i don't think the solutions apply.
I just need some quick instructions as to what to change in the apn settings or maybe a link to a posted detailed solution.
Thanks!
im running virtuous unity on my inspire. i receive small mss, unfortunately. does anyone have a fix for the small mms on the inspire?

Please when asking a question, give as much info as you can. What rom youre running including version. make sure you have done a full wipe (data/cache/dalvik) before installing said rom. and also please do a little bit of searching first. I found that your problem was fixed in this version of VU in about 30secs of searching.

this is an outdated version of virtuous unity. i'm on version 2.39.
There is a Q&A thread for the Virtuous Unity ROM where this question should be asked. This isn't even the Q&A section. It is the General section.
And most likely this has already been answered in the Q&A thread or in the Dev's thread.
Agreed please post in the correct section.

Im currently using CM9 and i was able to successfully flashed it. but my MAIN problem is that i cant connect to my wifi. it will just say "saved" but will never connect. i am thinking of how can i uninstall this rom and go back to the original 3.2 firmware. or is there a way on how to fix my wifi issue? I am loving the ICS feel of my tab but still i cant access the internet.
PLEASE help me! i am still a newbie at this and i would really appreciate your help.

Everyone who is having trouble with wifi, make sure you do the following
Wipe/Factory reset
If you know how make a logcat.
If you made a logcat, post it, and if you didn't don't post anything -- I'm fully aware that Wifi isn't working for everyone
Try the hotfix I've attached to this post
If you mean it doesn't have the wpa_supplicant from stock ICS, that is because it is impossible to include a binary wpa_supplicant in the CM build process (if you tried, it would get overwritten by the one that is built from source). The reasoning is that wpa_supplicant is GPL'ed, so by law any alterations made to it that are used in a distributed binary must be publicly shared -- unfortunately Samsung has decided to ignore the law and has not released their modifications. The best I can do is provide a hotfix zip with the stock ICS wpa_supplicant until I manage to get the opensource driver fully functional.

Actually read the CM9 thread, please. All your questions have been answered there.
Does this fix work for official ics austria?
Upon installing Sabsa Prime v5.0, Facebook wouldn't update.
So, according to the forums here, I deleted the .apks in a root file viewer. I was able to update the app afterward, but Facebook for HTC Sync is gone.
Is there any way to fix this? I've searched the forums here to no avail
Reflash same rom on itself without full wipe.
Also please post questions in correct thread forum Q & A Thread
I tell you what.. I was looking for a solution on this as well.. so I'm glad this was on here..
Hi all -
I am currently on the 12/21 unofficial CM 10.1 by mastamoon. I am using the 12/12 gapps, and did a complete wipe before switching to CM 10.1.
Just about everything that I need is working fine except for one annoying bug. Gmail is vibrating for every email that comes in, no matter what settings I try. Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it just a fluke with something that I have set somewhere?
are you having any data issues? and can you post a link as to wehre you downloaded your mod? I really want to try this out but im scared that my data will go out.

I am not seeing any data issues. Make sure you read up and do a good job wiping first! Good luck!
