When trying to upload anything the upload just freezes. This happens uploading to DropBox, to Facebook, when starting the upload test in the SpeedTest.net app, when tethered and I try to send something, pretty well every time an upload begins.
It is not my carrier as my wife's phone works just fine (hers is still on 2.1).
Has anyone else experienced this, any suggestions?

Wind has issues with uploads over 3g, intermittedly. Its a known issue, and also occurs on the laptop dongles too. (I have both services through wind)
Best suggestion is to just phone in and see if you can get tech support on the line to let them know about your issues.

Hello everyone I have myself, a xoom, running the latest 3.1 software, uprooted, and using a tmobile uk sin card. The problem is am having constant and very frustrating data disconnections, on my xoom. This happens about every 5 minutes, when am using anything that requires a data connection n my xoom, and the data just hangs, result of which, I have to turn on flight mod on and off to get the data working again, and yu can imagine, how frustrating this can be if am having to do this every 5 minutes or so, so please I want to know if anyone else experiences the same, or its only my xoom, in which case I would have to possibly have to get in touch with motorola. Thank you looking forward to your help.

It started happening after the last update. I hope they fix it on the next release.

Sounds like u guys would be better off tethering from ur phones or the people that have them. I have a Wi-Fi Xoom and i just tether to my phone.

hi this is my first post and wanted to know if anyone else is having issues with this speed test app, it works great showing the download speed , but on upload speed it stalls then says network communication issue. i have tried uninstall then installing the app and nothing seems to work, I even tried different servers, thanks for all your help with the issue
Hey J welcome to the forum. I just tested my connection speed there and had no problems at all. Don't know what to tell you, but it seems to be working OK for me.

same issue for me as well getting 8+ mb down and 2+ up before the network issue.
I used to have a T-Mobile comet. piece of junk phone with 528MhZ processor, but I used to be able to download multiple apps at the same time. i.e. updates for google maps, facebook, and youtube would all download simultaneously. Then I get the Sidekick. I love this phone, except for one thing. market downloads go one at a time. Whenever multiple updates are available, if I click update all, it does them one at a time. Anyone know of a way around this without flashing a rom? I am already rooted and have cwm recovery if that matters.

I would suggest turning on your wifi when you want to update your apps.
Even if it does go one by one, is it that big of an inconvenience?
well, i really liked when it would dl more than one at a time. im not near an unsecured network, so wifi isnt an option. i just thought someone might know of a hack. if anyone does, lmk.
Anyone else have flaky 3G mobile data after upgrading to MaximusHD rom?
I noticed when 3G works, it works fine, but it would lose network connection very randomly.
WOrking fine one minute and then not working the next.
Any ideas?

well I noticed webpages were sometimes not loading, just kind of stuck there not loading. This was on the default internet browser.
But I also noticed that I could have internet on a different app, say tapatalk. So, I installed titanium backup, froze internet browser and installed a different one from the play store. One Browser is the one I have chose.
Been a day and haven't had a single issue since.
I'm having this issue across all programs, not just the browser. I didn't even install the default browser to begin with. Darn. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I have been tethering on T-Mobile for some time and haven't had any issues. Now all of the sudden, they are blocking tethering for me. I am on DU 4.4.4. What can I do besides switch ROMs?
I don't think ROMs have anything to do with your tethering issues. Perhaps glitched out on your current ROM.

No I just realized that it still works with my laptop but if I try to tether on my ps3 or 4 and I open a browser, it displays a message about paying for tethering and that its blocked. How did tmo catch on with psn but not my laptop?
That's weird. I have Xbox one and can't replicate the problem you are having. Youtube plays fine, can play online games and browser searches without hiccups. I don't see why PlayStation might be an exception, I think you might want to check on your APN and perhaps reflash your ROM. Just back up your current one and see if new flash makes any difference. If not just recover back. I am almost certain that reflash will fix your problem automatically.
Oh I forgot to mention that I am also a T-Mobile user.
