[MOD] Showcase EB11 32secESKBL & NoClockESKBL combo!!

Ok Thanks to Phidelt82 for walking me through Each Step
and thanks to Sbrissen for getting us the NoClock and AmPm mod!!!!!!
Here's my first MOD!!
This is the 32sec Extended Key Back Light for your bottom buttons!!!
It keeps the keys lit up for 32 secs after you touch them..
Flash this via CWM...
As always Do a nandroid for YOUR SAFETY!! Flash at your OWN RISK!!!

Do you have a showcase?
The more the merrier!!!

No showcase have us cellular mesmerize...but I'm sure the things I'm working on wont effect the matter of showcase fascinate or mesmerize...I'm more into getting the best out of my phone...kernels, jit, battery life, overall performance basically and seeming it seems the showcase,mesmerize, and fascinate is just another moment and acclaim lol same hardware identical just different carriers...just had to port it all over

Edit** over the next few days I'm gonna need about 5 people to beta test something I have been working on... I'm loving my phone more and more....no voodoo and guess what no lag what so ever...few lockups but that's my newest bug I think I have fixed but not sure yet only time will tell....all I need from beta testers is any issues they run into...baked is draft 1 seeming he has pulled me up to speed with the mesmerize over on sdx like I mentioned recently upgraded from acclaim...your draft 2...phidelt is 3

Phidelt82, is working on some things right now for the mesmerize... He's working on the 5 unlock screens/Power options... maybe you could give him a hand...

Currently in class seeming I work all day go to school by night...we release at 11 probably be another hour or so until I get online but for sure I think you guys will love let me repeat LOVE me for what I'm working on....I'm still iffy on releasing it on this build though but still its in dire need of extensive testing seeming I don't use all the apps everyone else uses...lol

So how long will it take to get CM7 nightly?

I'm not pushing, I know CM devs are working hard on this, so I'm just looking for general opinions, now that we have kernel source, how long do you think it will take before we get Cyanogenmod 7 nightlies? My wild guess is within two weeks.

Im sorry, but i doubt you get any answer except for snarky jackassery. Just don't ask and be patient about it. Since the kernel is out it will be sooner rather than later.

I am just as anxious as the next guy... have been looking forward to running CM7 since I got my paws on my TB
We all know the first rule is "Never ask for an ETA"
CM7 is being worked on by skilled devs. Slayher has completed the majority of the porting. Cyanogen himself helped with some graphics stuff (IIRC).
Now that HTC released the kernel work is being done to get wifi, bluetooth, etc. working properly. I am not 100% sure, but I think the last piece we are waiting on is the actual radio functionality.
You can build CM right now from source and flash it to your device... you will just be left without any data/phone functionality. Last I heard, birdman was also working on getting the radio to work.
This may be more complex than normal due to the LTE/CDMA dual-radio.

Lighten up. The OP isn't demanding an exact ETA. We know Steve's number one rule is not to ask for an ETA, but he's not asking Steve or any of team douche. He just want to know when you think one will turn up. I say about a month.

I appreciate everyones response. I knew I was opening a can of worms by starting this thread, which is why I clarified in the OP that I was only asking others opinions, not for an eta from the development team. Sorry if thats how it was perceived.

They are working on RIL development now... who knows if there will be any unexpected hurdles. It has already been stated that it will be more difficult than standard radio stuff...

I'll hit you up with the thanks button once I get home. I do understand, and I appreciate your input. I am as excited as everyone else at getting AOSP on this device, I used to own the MT4G and processor/RAM-wise, they are the same, I think, and CM7 was lightning fast on that phone.

Gingerbread Preview

I find it surprising that more people aren't talking about the gingerbread preview and that it hasn't even been posted yet. I want to give it a try even if it is an early build.

CM7 for G2x isn't ready for primetime yet. Just flashed it and had many issues. Had to go back to stock.
The gingerbread build seems just about complete besides the camera app.

I know. just saying people would prolly care more if CM7 weren't around. if I've learned one thing about xda its buggy cm7 keeps people happier than no cm7.

Guy, you really are clueless right now. There's a difference between trying to guess when an update is coming and knowing that a leak is out there but hasn't been posted and asking why not ... Within the Vibrant community when there was even a clue to a leak, people were on it til they found it and it was posted. Didnt matter if it were an early build or not, it was posted for the community. If you don't get that well I can't help you.

I guess it just comes down to a matter of opinion really. I think that its silly to go out asking for the leak because its either with a) someone who can/wants to share it or b) someone who can't/won't. And if the answer was in fact 'a' it would have no doubt reached our doorsteps by now. This is the internet, how much faster do we need it to get to us...
Now all arguments aside. I'm not sure why I targeted this thread in particular but I was bored during break at work and in a sour mood lately thinking about reality. So if I'm off character here or in any way wrong on my thoughts then feel free to ignore me. I guess I was kinda looking for senseless argument from the begining alongside my sour disposition and in that manner I was childish. I apologize for that. Sounds promising. CM7 is great and all, but i myself wouldn't mind playing with a stock GB build either.

Nothing new I'm afraid, at least not until developers get their hands on RIL sources. Until then, AOSP roms will lack data/connectivity (to my knowlegde).

Need an official build to be released by Verizon so they release source.

makes sense to a point... how is it that the epic for example didn't have a official source until a couple weeks ago had all kinds of roms g.b froyo themes etc.. but we don't is it cause they have a lot more knoledgable devs over there or is there something i am missing....

I was wondering about some more versions of the 2.3.6, any word? Love humble 5.0 though

With the speed and timing that leaks are being released, the devs don't want to spend the time to update every week. It is a lot of work porting a rom up to a new leak, just to have it happen again the week after. The # of devs is the charge community is small, and this is just due to luck. Maybe once the source gets released, and now that the charge is FREE with contract, we may see a influx of new people and possible devs. Until then, just cool your jets, and use whats available.

Yeeeeah, I don't know that we'll see many more devs jumping on the Charge Train. But we've got a pretty good thing going on here... we've got Gummy, Infinity, and Humble, plus a slew of Froyo ROMs to choose from. Like you said, with the timing of the leaks, anyone who is devving for the Charge is waiting on something to go Gold and come OTA. Once source is released, we'll have everything we need. At that point, there's a good chance we score CM7 (hopefully CM9 as well).
I'm still using Gummy FE and loving it. The only thing I wish I had right now and don't is a FlatBlack themed Swype for the 3.26 Beta. Anyone know how to theme that bastard yet? I know that there are some .9's that exist but I'm curious to know if anyone can charge the trace color, etc.

This makes me wanna jump ship other than the very helpful and knowlegable members here crossing my fingers for a galaxy s 2 or maybe ill just buy a unlocked one not sure yet

ICS on its way for Charge

Looks like imnuts and jt are putting their heads together to get ICS kernel to boot on Charge.
I pledge $20 as soon as a working ICS rom is out. Please support their work.
Not impressed with GNEX. I plan to stay on my Charge for a while.
Update 2/14/12: I'm not holding my breath for ICS on Charge anymore. Looks like Samsung is holding back some critical pieces. If I had time, I'd work on it myself. Since I don't, I have no right to complain. Those of you who are interested in tracking progress, please follow the link below:

This is great news since I just got a used charge. So far not as good 4G reception as my girlfriends Bionic but it has a nicer screen and interface IMO. I look forward to possibly overclocking this thing a little too?

Btw on rootzwiki there are sometimes different things and tid bits of info.... Too the op if you really are already behind it, meaning ics, just donate because the work the devs put it including themers, testers, rom developers,and tweakers is worth it even if we don't get it... I donate sparingly because I'm currently unemployed and somewhat frugal when it comes to giving free money, but his work and others has inspired me to do things myself, like theming... It's not for everyone as any aspect it's time consuming like people wouldn't believe, but it's satisfying... Time = $$$$$ so if you want to maybe push him along and show him the charge is worth his time and others drop a donation.... Don't say well if you do this, when almost every dev for android is worth more than just a few empty promises of donations.... Just donate and they will provide you with information, help, tweaks, colorful and some not so colorful themes, and roms for your pleasure.... I'm sure they get slack for the time put on by there irl friends and family ad I just started and Im already getting it.... So again just donate.... Empty promises never inspired anyone...

Can you please let us know how is the rom working?

Home button and camera doesn't work on the ICS build. It APPEARS much faster than 2.3.5 (a lot less stuttering for me but I wasn't playing with any special builds there....)
the installer.zip auto reformats you to ext4.
It shows extreme promise for an alpha build IMHO.
