Where can i find the news and weather app from Vegan? - G Tablet General

I really love the news and weather app that is installed in the vegan rom. I'd really like to install it on my droid x. Anyone know what it is or where to find it?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Got it. Thanks!
. . . sent from my iPad 2 running Windows Phone 7

That thing eats up 14 megs or so of Ram and is always open in Background draining the battery. I'd would do you a lot better to just have a bookmark on your desktop to MSN yhat you can just touch when you want to see the news and weather. The genie widget is the first thing I Yank out with every new rom flash.

hey everybody!

heya,
I just got my new se x10 white and im thrilled.
One thing i miss only! I'm coming from an htc hd2. and was wondering if its posible to have a same like clock? a flipclock?
thanks in advance for replies, and hope root will be achieved soon!
Is rooting like flashing a rom on windows?
There are a couple of clocks that you can try. I use beautiful widgets, you can also try weather widget & toggle. Both are themeable to make them more HTC like.
Root is required to flash custom roms.
Congrats on a fine purchase
The Weather Widget & Toggle is identical to the HTC sense weather/flip clock widget and is also skinable.
Try the Fancy Widget. I'm using it my self on my X10, and it's working really nice.
It's even free and it's on Android Market.
Wow nice thanks!
Fancy Widget looks nice and looks exactly like the HTC one.
thanks you guy's!
fancy wiget is really great i live in belgium and paid apps arent avelble here

high rez HTC clock and weather widget

New HTC widgets now available from phone.

The 'add new widgets' feature now seems to be up and running for those of you might be interested.
excellent...already enjoying "word of the day", and the battery widget..
I really like the notes and tasks widgets. Very nice looking. I ended up going back to the Sense launcher rather than LauncherPro so I could use these widgets.
Thanks for the heads up. Some of these widgets are pretty handy.
I had been wondering why that feature hadn't been working. Thanks for the heads up!
ok I'm missing something.... where do you find this?

Go into where you add widgets...there is an option on the top, get more widgets or something like that...they are all listed there...you gotta download them first, then add them
Is this an indication that we can now use htcsense.com or is this unrelated?

EDIT: No, it does not appear that way. It looks like only the Desire Z and HD for now.
OUTSTANDING! Thanks a lot! This is the kind of thing I find in the first 2 minutes of having the phone. Then when it doesn't do anything I forget it ever existed. This one is back on the list to stay now.
There are some m really good widgets. Thanks for the letting us know.

I just did this and it works.
Awesome! How's it compare to Soundhound, which is my current jam?
I'm off to see the wizard now, but I'll try to be back soon with a trip report as well.

It's fast. I don;t know how it compares to Soundhound because I never used it.
Absolutely loving this widget. Much faster then shazam in my experience, seems to find all the songs I have tried, has a button to buy the song on the widget which is great too. It fits perfectly on my 10 by 5 screen (using nova launcher), only issue is I wish there was an option to make the background transparent. Thanks for posting this.

I've used all the above and keep reverting back to calengoo our business calendar. Calengoo is loaded with options whereas business calendar is more basic. Both are great choices

I know y i couldn't get that calender widget. I was running Nova Launcher, which doesn't have that widget. Its only in the Touchwiz launcher. So, i cant use it while running Nova. Unless someone know how to make it work. So now i have a choice. Keep nova or switch to touchwiz.
