The 'add new widgets' feature now seems to be up and running for those of you might be interested.
excellent...already enjoying "word of the day", and the battery widget..
I really like the notes and tasks widgets. Very nice looking. I ended up going back to the Sense launcher rather than LauncherPro so I could use these widgets.
Thanks for the heads up. Some of these widgets are pretty handy.
I had been wondering why that feature hadn't been working. Thanks for the heads up!
ok I'm missing something.... where do you find this?

Go into where you add widgets...there is an option on the top, get more widgets or something like that...they are all listed there...you gotta download them first, then add them
Is this an indication that we can now use htcsense.com or is this unrelated?

EDIT: No, it does not appear that way. It looks like only the Desire Z and HD for now.
OUTSTANDING! Thanks a lot! This is the kind of thing I find in the first 2 minutes of having the phone. Then when it doesn't do anything I forget it ever existed. This one is back on the list to stay now.
There are some m really good widgets. Thanks for the letting us know.

Ok so on our HTC lock screens its nice when playing music that the play/forward/rewind buttons are still accessible without having to lock it.
Is there an apk to have more functions like my Agenda that is coming up from calendar or incoming text messages without having to unlock it. Its nice that maybe we can just check it and then reply back later.
Your help is appreciated. I hope something exists...
I'm using Coredroid V4.0 BTW if that makes any difference.
Thanks.

Let me know if you like! Or if i can make any changes!
If you do like say thanks
its widget right ?
looks good . thanks buddy , but my last concedring is add another page in my tab
thanks for your offerts
Looks nice, thanks!
I would suggest you to post it in Android software forum since it works also on other devices, i'm using on my HD2 right now.
When you end a call it does return in internal dialer, would be nice if it return on widget itself and some sort of vibration while hitting numbers are my suggestions for a new release.
cheers.
Is this what the Honeycomb dialer really looks like?
Interesting
Thanks

I'm looking for some good Widgets that aren't, as far as I can tell, in CM7. Specifically, I'm hoping to find a good bookmark widget (similar to stock if possible). I am also open to suggestions for other Widgets that you guys find useful.
Launcher pro I believe has some good widgets, I never used the paid version but was told it has some of those widgets you're asking about.

Check out 'android pro widgets' on the market.. Sense style, scrollable widgets. I'm almost positive there's a bookmark one.

I have heard about this one, but financial issues prevent me from using a paid one unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion, just the same!
launcher pro does have good widgets but only in the paid version. There's several bookmark widgets on the market, here's the first one I came across. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sense.bookmarkswidget If you look around the market and google you'll find there's a lot of Sense like widgets out there.

I did several searches, but this one never came up. I was hoping for personal experience suggestions, but will probably try this one anyway.
Definitely try Android Pro Widget. Lots of features.

I ran into the same problem. You have to scroll down pretty far, but it is in there.
Here: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rdr.widgets.core&feature=search_result
I actually went ahead and grabbed this one to try it out. So far, so good. It has several widgets, but all I needed from it is the Bookmarks. Does that just fine.
Here you go, all transparent APW. Thanks to adude247 over at the transparent widgets thread.

GO Launcher EX is a MIUI-esque launcher with some nice built-in widgets and themes.
Also, thanks for the tip on Colorized! I'm using MIUI and wanted a good Facebook/Twitter widget!

Hey I was wondering whats the best way to replicate the iphone lock screen? Is it cm7 theme chooser?
You could try widgetlocker. It has the iPhone lock screen.
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA App
There is an app somewhere that replicates the iphone lock screen. Used to use it on my old phone. So don't have the apk. Search a bit and you'll find it
I have, I am currently using widget locker, I've seen another app but apparently it won't scale. Correctly on the sensation, i didn't try it but saw. A. Comment from an. Evo. I'm guessing there's no. Cm7 themes?

And it............ did....... not work. Thanks for trying though.
lol dang, sorry man, no other ideas
Thanks anyway, I just wish we had a simple lock screen like iphone.
Try magiclocker from the market its free
Sent from my Sensation using XDA App
There is an Miui theme with that Lockscreen. And yes it scales correctly. I used it for some time. Other than that I'm out of ideas lol
Magiclocker also has a sweet Samsung puzzle lock theme as well

Banned. All of you.
What's wrong with you banana? I got an android device. For the a ability to customize it. I'm allowed to do what i want with it. If you're immature enough to not have the ability to resist pointless posts that have nothing to do. With the thread, you should be banned.
And I don't really like miui. The interface isn't functional to me. I like cm7. Just want a iphone lock screen. I'll try magic locker.

What about "Lock 2.0"? Haven't used it in forever (coincidentally, it was the first app I ever bought for Android - lol), but it was specifically made to have the iPhone style locking, as well as give it some personal flare.
Yea that's the one he's using. The screen is compressed and the slider bar is really long and skinny. I've tried it without any luck. I now use "no lock" and just hit any button and am on my main screen, I never really saw the use of pressing a button just to do another task..

I do this, except I use a passcode. I just wish android/cm7 will release a lockscreen I like. Rotary did it for me for a while, but it become almost too complicated for me. I didn't like that if I used it to change the sound, i have to wait for the thing to finish rotating. I just want something I slide and it unlocks, but the default sliding tabs in my opinion are ugly. I liked sense's lockscreen, but the cm7 replication doesn't do it for me. looks too... circular
Widget Locker is what you're looking for
So i decided to cruise the Virtuous Team website when i ran across this app. You can add widgets to your lockscreen as well as customize your shortcuts. There is a free and a paid version. just hit the link and read more about it and download.

Wow definitely cool! Thanks! I'll have to check that out.
