How to get Latest Builds to cook?? - Wing, P4350 ROM development

as subject says, were can i get those for htc p4350.. am using trib`s guide to do so.. can anyone pls help me??

You can find the link to my SYS & XIP files in any of my threads.
But, you can use this link:
http://joojoobee666.ppckitchen.org/Kitchens/
&
use this dump sorter:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=331217&d=1274669660
But my SYS & XIP files are already sorted out.
Also, if you've downloaded my kitchen then you won't need any of this at all LOL
Enjoy^>^
Can't wait to try your ROM, Yog..

ya have cooked roms but some went miserable as i don know wat are important files required to run a rom and wat options give wat kind of result like for home plugs i just getting its name and i don know how its visual will be.. i will be glad if u can help me to find it.. i will be a good cooker soon... how to find which versiona build is like, whether its manila or titanium or etc...

My suggestion would be to download my kitchen as you can preload ROMs on there. If you have my kitchen already, click on Load Rom and you'll be brought to .erv files.. Here you can see the types of ROMs that I have premade for teaching purposes. They will show you what's in a manila ROM, a titanium ROM and my other ROMs..

where actually ur config .erv files are saved?? do i need to download them from anywhere as i cant find it in ur kitchen... am waiting for ur reply..

can i get SD version of stock rom as i am getting problem to install ruu version.. i cooked a rom and it is not able to run a ruu, in bootloader it doesnt goes beyond 1%... any suggestion would be really great!!

When you click on Load ROM point the folder/explorer to "Working_Folder\TOOLS\RomSaved"
If you don't see any .erv files in there than you don't have the correct kitchen..

i don have these but i downloaded these but i cant find these files..

can i get SD version of stock rom as i am getting problem to install ruu version.. i cooked a rom and it is not able to run a ruu, in bootloader it doesnt goes beyond 1%... any suggestion would be really great!!

some how i sorted it out.. i have downloaded the kitchen 4xx MB.. it has only 3 XIP and many SYS file version.. is it fine to builde with different versions?

You have to click on HERALD in the drop down menu under DEVICE: and then you'll be able to see all the builds..

oh ****.. am getting soo stupid that i forgot that

Did you get into the bootloader and were you able to flash one of my ROMs?

Ill get the same mistake again and again

Either your download is corrupt or you didn't do USPL correct! Isn't there a readme in the New Guava package? If not read the USPL thread carefully on how to do it!

The update Utility can not open the requested..... and so on..!?!
Ohh i think i give up...!! Ahh why isnt it made in Danish..! Heeelp me out there.!

so these roms are .exe files. when i flashed my cooked rom it was a .nbh file and i just put it in the root of my storage card and when to bootloader mode. for this original rom thats an .exe file, how would i flash it? please help me because i don't really know. sorry for the inconviences, im still new to this stuff.
................connect your phone using a usb and make sure an activesync connection is active. Run the .exe and go through all the steps. It starts flashing and the percentage bar shows. It finishes and re-boots. Your done ....
and no need to do a hard reset after flashing original rom
thanks. i have one more question. if i flashed a rom using the storage card method, when i change my rom say to another cooked rom, do i just add the new .nbh file to the storage card and delete the old .nbh file containing the old rom?
Me = n00b
I have a touch diamond (gsm) with 6.5 but I wan't to downgrade to the original 6.1 rom from htc's website. Will hard-spl (olinex) prevent me from doing that?
Thanks in advance
No it wont hurt, in fact the hard spl will be reverted back to HTC original one, so all is well. Dont worry and just go for it... just curious, why you flashing back to original?

Covert the shellres.128.dll from a module to a file using recmod.exe.
Open the resulting shellres.128.dll file using a resource editor.
Delete all of the images for the wait cursor.
Save the changes to shellres.128.dll.

I sure they wont re-lock it. However the OEM in this rom is for the Sprint CDMA version. I'm pretty sure it won't function correctly on the unlocked GSM. The CDMA versions are pretty different.
As for odds of success, I have no idea. No one to my knowledge has tried the MicroSD update method, and I build the rom with a kitchen I've never used before. I just can't test until I actually get a Treo Pro on Monday.
ok i wait and see what hapens on monday, and if u succeed than u think u can make a GSM version of 6.5 ?

I would need a rom dump from your phone. All of the raw parts using itsutils would be best. That's how I'm going to backup my alltel rom when I get the phone.
I couldn't get my phone to boot from the SD at all, I may need to reformat it to try but even from the stock rom it wouldn't boot. It is possible this is an issue with the SPL-0.37.0000

Make sure it's FAT32, and use a normal sd not sdhc. Then hold the volume up and powerbutton while inserting the battery. Once it's in bootloader mode, hitting the power button again should start the flash processes. See the HTC service Manual for directions.

We flashed cooked roms long before HardSPL. I flashed a custom rom on a HTC Wizard when HardSPL was still in Olipro's dreams....

I'm pretty sure this is how. Without a hard-spl, the only other way is to use itsutils to write the rom back to the device, but that is dangerous.
oh, ok, well if u can point me the right direction i will make a dump of unlocked GSM version of WM6.1... for anyone who may need to recover... hopefully u can make 6.5 for us and it all gona work
but now im going to sleep its almost 3am lol

I'll get some directions put together. It will take some time, because some of the settings are different between devices, and I won't have something to test with until Monday.
Can this work on a Telus CDMA Treo Pro?
Don't even try to flash a rom built for a CDMA Treo Pro on a GSM Treo Pro. The best thing you can obtain is a brick. In order to dump you rom, here you'll find a complete tutorial in the wiki:

NightRaven,
I just tried your Rom but it doesn't work. It seems like you're still missing something. It stuck on the gray screen and says "Loading..." Just to confirm I didn't do anything wrong, I extracted the rom from the sprint 1.04 and it did work. Also seems like your Rom is smaller than the official Rom 73MB vs 140MB. Anyways if you have another one to try out, let me know and I'll try it out. Thanks for the hardwork!

OK. I have built a WM6.5 rom for the Sprint Treo Pro (It's all I had for an OEM dump. Alltel will come monday night when I get my new phone.). I have not tested this, becuase I have not yet received my phone. Are there any BRAVE sprint users out there that want to give it a try. You will be testing two things.
1.) Does the microSD card update described in the Treo Pro Service Manual work with unsigned roms?
2.) Does my 6.5 rom work?
Make sure you have a backup of the current sprint rom! Hopefully if it there is a problem, you can reflash the sprint rom for the 1.04 update. If you don't have it, get it off of Palms support website.
I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS PROCESS OR THE ROM YET!
I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR A BRICKED DEVICE!
ATTEMPT WITH CAUTION!
MicroSD Card Update Instructions
Format the micro-SD card as FAT32.
Rename the file from rru_signed.nbh to pantimg.nbh
Copy the pantimg.nbh file onto micro-SD card.
Insert the micro-SD card in the Treo Pro.
Put handset into boot loader mode by pressing power and volume up button.
Press power button to activate the re-flash procedure.

did you Hard-SPL your Opal before flashing with custom roms?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=446446
still confused
hello,
thanx for your support. But can u give me a brief about the flashing processes..i mean the SPL and hardspl and bried step by step info..plz..
Thank You
Razeen Abdulla
flashing is quite easy, after connecting via ActiveSync... double click ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow the on-screen directions... that's it.
if you want custom roms, you have to Hard-SPL your device first. you won't be able to flash your device with custom roms (cooked) if it's not Hard-SPLed but you can flash it with NON-custom roms (roms that are downloadable from HTC websites).
