Looks great...can it be set up as a widget? It would be nice to have it as a fullpage widget on the home screen!

Brilliant, I love it If something comes up, you'll hear it. Lovin' it so far...

Looks good. Could you add the ability to sort applications in the "App Lock" scree?

Love it so far no problems, like the protection option the most.. thanks for this great application..

Very well put together app. Impressive!

This is awesome man, installing it now.

very nice! I really like the ability to lock apps, brilliant!

Cool app, except for the app protection feature, which doesn't seem to work. Even after locking my apps, I can use them freely, it doesn't ask for the password...

Same problem I have. Anyone know a fix?

Sounds interesting. Will this app be avalible over the market soon?

Sounds very powerful. But a few screen shots as preview would be better.

Ive only been using this for like 5 minutes and i'm thoroughly impressed. Only thing i could think of to make this better, is some widgets and toggles, but regardless this app is AMAZING. Thank you.

Had this on for all of 2 minutes after seeing it recommended on another forum (word spreads fast apparently!!), love it!
Can see it replacing alot of apps for some people. Really well done especially for a first release.
Feature requests
- battery/3g usage widgets? This would mean I could kill another couple of widgets
- on the detailed data screen, it shows combined 3g/wifi data usage, can it be implemented so we can just see either 3G *or* wifi, rather than combined? Would be a good way of spotting rogue downloaders (of course the summary would still show that now, but it'd be easier to spot problems on 3g which is where it costs you $$ if things go bad).
Edit - just found a bug
2g/3g traffic -> more detail -> touch on an app and get FC of com.zdworks.android.toolbox, then goes back to main app summary screen.
HTH

Thank you very much for this *Great* App I'm lovin it!

Excellent work!
One thing, is it possible to have an increment of ONE minute in DO NOT DISTURB?
Then it would be perfect!
Cheers!
DAVE©

Brilliant.
Does it work in landscape? I would love to use it on my Streak.

Nice app. I've got a suggestion about the mobile network netcounter settings. The app considers only data per month. Could it be possible to customize it a bit more? I've got a data plan which gives me 50 MB per day (not per month) so I cannot use this part of the app because doesn't fit with my dataplan. Another nice thing could be to hide the standar battery icon (the one near the clock) when the Notification Icon si set to "Battery". Another nice thing could be the Ignore List in the Task Killer (there are some apps I don't ever want to kill).
Anyway I like it a lot!

This sounds interesting! I will give it a try and be back with feedback

Very cool application but it has some issues on my galaxy s , App Lock feature if enabled the application keeps crashing else everything seems fine.. Loving it

App worked great the first time installed it. The System Scan was excellent, but it has stopped working and using the System Scan causes Force Close. All the other tools are great, but this especially useful tool is causing FCs no matter what I try. Any advice on getting it working?
I'm on Nexus S stock 2.3.3 (Rogers).

Have you ever wondered what apps you have installed and don't even use? Or just curious which applications you use the most on your device? Say hello to Aptrax!
Aptrax runs in the background and monitors what apps you use and how long you use them for. You can also check how many times you have opened each app. Through its holo themed interface you can then uninstall the apps which you do not use. Aptrax is very light on memory usage and has no battery drain, even when set to high frequency tracking.
Features
★ Track how long you use each of your apps
★ See the number of times you launched each app
★ Easily uninstall unused apps
★ No battery drain (even on high frequency tracking)
★ Very low memory usage
★ Holo themed interface
★ Starts automatically when you turn on your device
★ Completely free, no adverts or in-app purchases
Feedback is very appreciated
Thanks, now i can check how much time i killing on social networks
By the way, can you add a feature of grouping apps in reports? Like games, social networks, messengers?

- New app icon
Check it out and leave feedback please

The tracking of system apps is the feature I'm focusing on at the moment and will try and release it this week. Also the filtering of statistics by daily/weekly/monthly is something I intend to do right after since it would be very useful! :fingers-crossed:

Good concept. But it isn't showing my time spent in FB Messenger while using it in Chathead-mode. And also it's not showing times spent in Chrome/Google Now.

Yeah Facebook Chat Heads cannot be tracked by Aptrax. This is because Aptrax is only able to track foreground apps, while Facebook Chat Heads is more of an overlay over another foreground app.
Regarding Chome and Now, they are not being tracked because they are System apps, and at the moment I'm only tracking User apps. Will be fixing this issue in v1.2 though, you can expect it very soon.
Thanks for the feedback

how about including an option to warn saying 'you are using this app too much' on user specified usage count?
@Mendrake thanks for a great app.
Actually I've been looking for something like this. I just have one feature request.
It would be awesome if you could backup a list of installed apps and maybe save it in the cloud or email it. This could come in handy when flashing new roms or changing devices.
Thanks

Good and useful app, but in my opinion there are too many wakelocks that prevent deep sleep: about 1 every 10 seconds with low tracking frequency.
Could it be possible to improve it?

Hey stiven, glad to see you like the app. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a device can only go into deep sleep when the screen is turned off right? If that is the case, Aptrax does not prevent deep sleep, because its service gets stopped on screen off, and starts again when the screen is turned back on.
When testing the application I made sure that it never caused any form of wake locks on the several devices I tested it on, and monitored it through Wakelock Detector. It never showed any sign of wake locks or battery drain.

Google+ Baby Untouch beta page
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of baby friendly contents on web, app, YouTube, and other video source. The app allows you to open any of those contents for your baby and protect your phone from being destroyed by baby random clicking.
*******************************************************************************************************************
Features:
★ Block touch on any apps, including YouTube and browsers (video playing without problem. I haven't find any app that doesn't work with this app yet)
★ Block home, back button, recent-app button, and menu button
★ Lock volume
★ Easy unblocking with options
★ Even works on lockscreen to prevent calling to 911
★ Option to "Keep screen on" while blocking
★ Option to "Lock orientation" while blocking
★ Super simple start. Only need 20 seconds to fully understand how it works
★ Super optimized; next to zero memory and CPU usage
★ Tiny app size
★ No ads; that's right, no ads
★ No sneaky permission, only 2 basic ones
★ No data usage, it doesn't even need internet access permission
★ No sign up, no email, no phone number, and no information is saved or required
*******************************************************************************************************************
Coming Features:
★ Option to allow interaction on running app in the foreground
*******************************************************************************************************************
Limitation:
This app does not provide baby content at this moment.
There are a few reasons:
1. ) I am not an expert at determining what content is the best for babies; I only want to provide what I believe is the best.
2. ) There are so many baby content available everywhere already.
Other notes:
This app does not block power button.
Volume lock is to revert volume changes.
If somehow you can't unblock after start blocking, you can press and hold power button to restart phone and that will fix it.
I have tested this app on as many phones and apps that I can, but if you do find an app or a phone that this is not compatible with, please email me the phone model, android version and the app link, so I can test it and fix it.

Is it possible to configure the app to auto engage when a particular app is running? so for example if Youtube is started the the notouch app activates?
Also, is it possible to have it startup automatically on device boot so that it is running and active by "default"?

Thanks for your interest.
Regarding auto engage, is it that really useful? Currently it doesn't have that feature, because it only takes 1 swipe from the notification and 1 tap to activate.
Regarding auto startup on boot, it might be a bit too dangerous. For example, if you somehow can't not unblock it (For example, someone sets it to 10 taps/sec to unblock), then your last way to get pass it is to do hard reset which is holding power for 10 seconds.
But auto start up the notification is possible. I might add that in, just don't want to pollute the UI with 20 options that general moms don't know how to operate. I might add in an advanced option category in near future.
Thanks.

Sorry for using this thread for this, but I don't think so. I have an app for children on my tablet with pictures and spoken names off different animals. My nearly 2 year old daughter loves it, and actually she can name most of the animals clearly and instantly. I think the point is what kind of content you show to little kids and how long you let them play with it.
Swyped from my incredible Sony Xperia Z with Tapatalk 4
http://www.aap.org/en-us/advocacy-and-policy/aap-health-initiatives/pages/media-and-children.aspx
Confirms partly what I said, content and duration must be under parental guidance. But I think even kids under age 2 can learn from both: people AND media. And now let's stop hijacking the thread.

There is a bug currently when unblocking if Unblock confirmation is not set. A new update will be released to fix that later today. Please enable unblock confirmation before using it for now.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi!
Is it possible to have the app lock input for 0.5-1second after turning the screen on? I have a bug on my N5 that causes shadow presses when the screen is unlocked. Setting a lock pattern solves this on one side but when the light sensor turns on/off screen during a call it still causes erratic behavior.
Thanks.

Interesting. Possibility of hiding notification in status bar while keeping notification in pull down menu?
Great job @AmniX
Add a donate version of your app.
This looks like a really useful app. I'll give it a shot.
Just a request: Please also don't riddle it with ads. I'd gladly donate, but I'm really sick and tired of seeing apps get infected with ads and/or "suggest you install this free companion app that will mine your data while you use our software! 100% safe and free."
Nice Job
Could you please add live app data usage feature.

Its already on Notification Panel of Total Data Usage Till you uninstall, If You are asking about session data then I'm working on It too.
nice app but speed indicator on status bar is too small for me
Does it have similar functionality to "Network speed indicator" on Xposed?
@AmniX App seems nice, but just an idea is that you should do something else instead of persistent notification, which annoys many people.
Must give live stats but not in notification, should be something in statusbar.
WHICHROM?

No doubt. Great ap. Thank you. It shows the download/in. Hopefully it has up too.
Nice app.. Not looking good in notification panel of kitkat.. Perhaps look good in lolli?.. can it be made possible to change it to single like notification only upload and download speed?
Thanks for this good looking application!
When traveling in third world countries or in areas with limited coverage an application like this is quite useful.
What I am missing is a graph of the recent network speeds, which can help determine if a network is working properly or not. I have been using Network Speed for this purpose for quite some time, but it is old and somewhat buggy (the service is being killed by Android, because no foreground service is being used) and the graph is ugly in my opinion. A slow connection is mostly good enough to fetch/send email, but on the other hand a network without response, recognized by repeated outgoing traffic and no or hardly any incoming traffic, is mostly unusable. This is best seen by overlapping the incoming and outgoing network speed graph.
Anyway, it would be great to have a recent network speed graph, but of course you are free to decide to add it or not.
Are you planning to make the application open source?
Edit: showing the incoming and the outgoing network speed in the status bar would also be useful for this use case.
AmniX awesome App & very useful App & bye bye other Apps thanks mate

For me there is no news whit this app. since 2013 I use a similar app called internet speed meter ahah https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.internet.speed.meter.lite
I'm not promoting anything, is not my intention. The pro version of the app above mentioned have a nice feature. When you are on WIFI the real time speed in status bar becomes BLUE, if you are on DATA becomes WHITE...you can implement this feature in your free app, of course leaving your app FREE
Have Fun

This app is what i was waiting for.. loving it :good:
Can u implement different data usage for mobile network and wifi in your app so that we can keep a track of mobile data usage. And can u also add monthly data plan for mobile.

[APP][4.4+][Root]ToolWiz Privacy

We are thinking of separating APP Freeze and Privacy Freeze and make two different Apps.
With ToolWiz Privacy you can still protect your personal info against big data tracking of APPs. In addition, we will add album locker to protect your photos from spying eyes and small tools to clear your browser history.
APP Freeze will be an independent APP aiming at extending battery life and avoiding big data roaming bills. We help you better manage your smartphone by killing background service of APPs and preventing them from auto-start.
What do you think of the idea? Your opinion is more than welcome.

Hey,
We are a small team focusing on android security and we developed a tool called ToolWiz Privacy. This APP aims to protect android phone users against data collecting and ads pushing APPs. Moreover, we want to help users extend battery life of their smartphones.
Now we have our beta test version(1.01) and we would like to invite you to join us and make it better.
ToolWiz Privacy has two main functions—APP Freeze and Privacy Freeze.
You can freeze your APPs so that they are completely locked and banned from being active or running in the background. The frozen APPs can only be opened from ToolWiz Privacy.
You can freeze your privacy so that APPs can only get access to your fake personal information. You can edit fake privacy info (fake phone number, location, IMEI…) yourself and block unwanted actions of APPs(sending and receiving text message, making and receiving phone calls…) in settings.
It’s the first APP in the world to help you to get rid of big data tracking and it makes your Android phone keep running for more than 20 hours without charging.
Check if you are able to use ToolWiz Privacy:

Does the privacy freeze allow me to prevent an app from sending notifications? Some apps send notification spam.

Of cause, you can go to app settings and check on the 'Block Notification Bar' item. And add the app into Privacy Freeze.Just try it!

Tried your app and unless I misunderstood you have 1 set of "fake data" used by all the apps....this is not going to work out well as you might want SOME apps to be able to get your real location but still be unable to send or receive text messages....or stop one app from sending notifications but allow everything else....ideally you need to be able to specify what needs to be faked per app. I also found various spots where the english text had "shadow" chinese characters behind it.
Finally autostart and background running should be considered seperate when "freezing"....I might have music apps I want to allow to run in background but NOT autostart on bootup......and vice versa I might have an app I want to run on bootup such as changelog droid that grabs the list of changes to apps that have been updated since last boot but NOT allow it to run in background. It looked like app freeze was an all or nothing thing.
Good luck with the app.

Thanks for your suggestions, we've updated a new version apk file in this post. And our developers are heading to solve the problem you've mentioned, configure different 'fake data' for every single app.Maybe you can see that in next version.
Actually when an app is frozen by our tools, autostart and background services can be configured separately.Just click the app you added, and you can see that autostart and services are list separately, moreover every background services can be configured as you want.
If you want some apps not running in background, just try it! And we'll do better!
This app has a lot of potential, so far so good.. I would like to also privacy freeze system apps tho , and also choose fake info specifically for each app, Like this app.. ???

Thanks a lot, freezing system apps and editing fake data for each app are already on our TODO list.
Maybe you can meet with them a few days later.
This is a promising application, but is there a way to ignore certain apps? It's annoying to see the red when I know the app that's in the red to be safe.
