On my Nexus S with CM7-Rc1 and Trinity kernel the auto-rotate will sometimes stop working. I will have to reboot the phone to get it to work again. Is there an app or a workaround that I can press an icon and it will manually rotate the phone?
Have the same issue on stock 2.3.2. I'm pretty sure that it's because of an app but I'm just not sure which one and/or why

My nexus s keeps freezing. I have factory reset from a recovery boot, formatted cache and SD. I'm at 2.3.3 and have not rooted.
It will not freeze when it is plugged in so adb debug session doesn't tell me anything.
I have tried alogcat with it set to 15 mins but it usually won't save anything before the phone freezes.
I am not using a custom launcher but it did freeze when I was using launcher pro.
When it freezes the clock stops and I can wake the device up but the screen is non responsive and I cannot unlock it. After the screen is turned off I cannot wake it up again.
Sometimes there is a error triangle but I am unable to see what the error is.
Ideas?

The MIUI FM Radio App isn't working on my Sensation 4G. Running MIUI 1.10.7. Everything else seems normal, love this Rom. Any one with the same issue? Is there any setting that could be wrong? Noobie on this side. Thanks
Any answer??
Just not playing with headphones plugged in? Or force closing?

Force Close with head phone on.
When i try to open the app it give my a blank screen for like 20 or 30 seconds then Force Close saying app is not responding, either with head phone or without it.

Just tried it out and I'm getting the same issue. Also one of my camera apps force closes everytime after taking a picture and the other force closes once inawhile (there's two camera apps)
Yes the camera app at the home screen is force closing after taking shots, that's a know issue, not shure about the second camera app. But I been looking arround and can't find any solution to the FM Radio App.
try to use alternative fm apps guys =D

IS there any?
Would you point me to that?
Using my phone as usual, went for a run. When I looked at my phone after my run, my phone icon is missing from the bottom of my screen (whatever that's called--it escapes me now) and from my app drawer. It's still present on my lock screen and the app still exists on my phone--as shown in the application manager.
Every other thread with this issue is either doing stuff with themes or ROMs, or they just removed it accidentally from the home screen. Not the case here.
Any way to fix this without doing a factory reset?
I'm running stock, rooted VRBLJ1

Seems like issue with your launcher, what launcher do you have? Try to reboot your phone, if stills not working go to settings->apps and clear data for your launcher.
Using the stock launcher. So what's the name of the launcher? Found several in app manager that could be it...

Touchwiz
I just force stopped mine, cleared data and it reset it. That will undo all the customization if you had any. Hope that works.

I have a "Touchwiz Home". Is that it?

Yep. It reset mine and added back the icons I took off. Give it a shot.

Great. Got my phone icon back.
Now, anyone know what went wrong with the launcher or what got corrupted? I ask so that maybe next time we could fix the problem rather than having to clear the data and loose all customizations.
Hey all....have a weird issue here. I use GoSms as my messaging app. I have added it as a shortcut to the lock screen. When I have a new text come in and I get into the app from my lock screen, the keyboard doesn't want to work. It recognizes I'm typing (buttons press, popups show up) but nothing shows up in the entry field. I need to completely back out of the conversation and get back in again. Then it works fine. It does this regardless of what keyboard I use. The stock messaging app works fine and I don't have this issue. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Try wiping the cache and data for GoSMS
Hi, for reason my apps that normally run on bootup are no longer running on bootup!
As far as I know I installed cm battery beta app and ever since nothing's fires back up on startup even after uninstalling all cm related apps and also anti virus etc!
Even my Timely alarm didn't sound this morning!
The apps that are normally set to start on bootup are swipepad, adaptive rotation lock, any.do, profile scheduler..... None of these are auto starting on bootup even after I run them and change settings to auto start!
I'm using standard AOKP ROM which has been running fine...
Any ideas much appreciated... Thanks in advance.

I'd dirty flash your rom and see if that gets rid of whatever the battery beta did
