so here is the deal, i am running cm7 at the moment, and was running gorilla sense, both of them had the same problems. when im not using the internet, it shows on the icon "3g" but when i open the browser it will show the "h". when it shows 3g my loading bar wont move until it flashes the "H", when it does 10 seconds later it goes back to 3g
the big problem is, sometimes it wil flash 3g to h back to 3g back to h therefore my internet wont load at all. I would have to remove the battery and pray it will work.
does anybody know how to fix the situation

When in a moving vehicle, signal often changes from H+ to 3G, and vice versa, and this brief change results in connectivity loss for a few seconds.
Sometimes this loss of connectivity compounds to a minute or more, because of how often it changes, and I can't do anything with my phone (from simple texting to streaming).
Is there anyway to stop this from happening? I suppose select to use 3G permanently, and no H+?
I read somewhere that H+ and 3G work as "1 spectrum", and you cannot disable one without disabling the other... is this true?

Inspired Ace v1.0.1, latest AT&T ROM (06.06.30) with corresponding RIL (2.0 or w/e).
I don't think it's connectivity issue on my phone, it's just me going through H-supported areas, and the phone trying to connect to it.
My phone has been doing this all day. :\ It's actually stuck in 3G right now. It changes to H+ for a couple of seconds before reverting back to 3G.
3G stalls on my nexus s whenever i am downloading any file, indefinite of time period as in u cant downloading anything when the 3G drop occurs but there is no change in bars or the symbol(H remains the same),only restarting the phone or disabling/enabling data connection helps resuming connection
initially this used to happen while USB tethering(while using CM9 ROM) but now after changing 3 ROM's(currently on CyberGR-MOD) the problem is occurring on using data on mobile itself(not able to download a single 20 mb file without halts)
i even updated my Radio baseband but didnt help either.
i am not able to find what's wrong with my phone,any help would be appreciated
I have same problem but not as bad. If o have h its all good but it drops to 3g, I have no data
I notice that thís problem just happened today. Sometimes my network signal gets lost, as so for the data.
When I have my network back, instead of showing 4G Lte, it shows H ( OR H, 3G sometimes). I've tried change it to LTE as a preferred choice but it wont let me choose it. It automatically turns back to GMS preferred.
I don't know if there is sonething wrong here. It had worked fine ever since I flashed the Rom. Only today did I encounter such problem.
Anyone knows what goes wrong here?

need sugestion. suddenly my nexus 5 icon "H" icon / symbol (i only got HSDPA in my country, so yes it would be just H or Edge) disappear. in the moment i think the operator where i'm using is having network trouble. when i get home i connect to wifi, but still internet not working. pull my other phone and connet to wifi and it is working, and then i try pull my sim on nexus 5. put in that other phone is working normally, i try to reset phones 2 times and wipe data completly it is still no working.
i even try install 2 other roms still not working. imei, and baseband not error cause is show number in about phone not "unknown"
i even try reverse tethering and nothing.
any ideas why?

is this something bug in 4.4.4?
should i try 4.4.2 rom? i never try on 4.4.2 rom and see if everything back to normal. guess i try tomorow. i'm too tired this night. lol
