Anyone know if we can make the snes emmulator work?
Snesdroid works fine for me.
GBA emu works flawlessly for me.

having no problems so far w/ most emulators
I've had some hit or miss on some games but that's seems more where I downloaded the particular rom. All emulators I've tried work great, especially using wii controller.

I thought you guys might want to know about this: I went to Best Buy yesterday to get a Wiimote for my G2x and came across this much smaller controller:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/POWER+A+-+ProPack+Mini+Remote+and+Mini+Chuk+for+Nintendo+Wii/1168433.p?id=1218228673832&skuId=1168433
It's the length of the phone, it's light, and you can put it in your pocket. It doesn't work with the Wiimote Controller APP in either Froyo or CM7, but it does work fine with Bluez IME in CM7. I haven't tried the nunchuk attachment as I'm just using it to play SNES and MAME games.
So how is that Power A Wii remote working out for you? I see mixed reviews for use on the Wii with sync issues and lag, but if it work fine on an android phone, i may think about trying since its nice and small.
I use my PS3 controller. Works like a charm on the fitsnugly CM7 kang.
Yeah but that a lot bigger and more expensive, plus i was really only thinking of using it for basic NES GBA and Genesis emulation for now.

Can I bluetooth a 360 or PS3 controller to play N64 roms?
The games run PERFECT on it, but the touch controls suck!
try an icontrolpad. Works a treat. D pad, shoulder buttons and 2 analogue nubs. Works with all the emu's.
Maybe this iControlPad is good, but still too expensive! 70$!??!?! Maybe have someone else bought a bluetooth gamepad thats working too?
The PS3 controller will work via USB but not Bluetooth. Believe it or not the 360 controller isn't Bluetooth, Microsoft use their own proprietary wireless tech, but if you buy one of the wireless dongles for connection one to a PC it should work fine but thats second hand knowledge. I am yet to try it myself.
Personally I just use my PS3 controller
I don't have dock for my Transformer, so have you all any idea how to use a controller?

There's talk that asus will release USB adapter that will plug into the port that the dock uses. I have not seen these for sale as of yet.
Another option, is you can use a wiimote with the classic controller attached to it. Works with bluetooth. Just search the market for wiimote.
Does anyone else think there's enough threads about controllers that there should just be a sticky on high?

Thats what i used to use but you can get a classic pro controller for about $20 plugs in like a nunchuck and it works even better it has d-pad shoulder buttons two analog sticks and the usual controls.
All you have to do to get it to work is download the wii controler app from market and enable custom ime in n64oid then map you contros and your good to go ive used it on star fox super mario pod racers fighters destiny bangoo kazooi and one of the race games

I find that N64 games, especially the games that are N64 exclusives, don't really work as well with a classic controller. The N64 had such a weird button setup. I use my classic controller for PSX, SNES, and GBA games
Now just wondering if there's a wifi game controller that works with old console emulators.
Pretty much I would like to use my phone as a controller for emulation games I run on my htpc.

will all the old psx games work on xperia play. so if i did get a file for a psx game that i have somewhere in my loft would i be able to use it on my play
No, unfortunately not all old psx games will run correctly. There are a large number that will though, and as far as how to run them, it breaks down into 2 camps.
1) PSXperia: Uses a trick to repackage psx files into apks that the built in emulator can use. Just do a forum search for find out more about it.
2) FPSE: An app in the App store that uses a more traditional approach to emulation imo. There is setup involved, and you will need a psx bios, but you can run iso's straight off the memory card, and it has a pretty large compatibility base.
The only game I can't get to work on fpse is x files. All the rpg's I tried work. Unfortunately there is no analog support for fpse unless your using ics Rom.

Ahh mate, you are lucky then. I have yet to get SaGa Frontier to work, or anyone else I have talked to. You can go the openGL plugin, but then the lag eats you up.
I wish I knew enough about driver optimization, because I am sure that with a little work the plugin could be kicking on our device. Yes we are weak in horsepower, but I think we are far from wringing out all the performance from the XPlay.
How well does this work with the GS4? Does it work well with CyanogenMod?

All it does is use Bluetooth to connect to the phone, so yeah, it works well with the GS4 and with CM.
want that
I really want one of the higher end mpga controllers. I currently ise a ps3 controller and the sixaxxis app, but native support would be so nice.
I've been using to new MOGA PRO and it works rather well. Bluetooth sync just fine and ive gotten pretty obsessed with playing need for speed lol. Makes things much easier

Wonder if it's any good for playing minecraft pocket edition
I got a moga pocket, and it works with my s4 on cyanogen, I had to install the moga universal driver from play store for some emulators, but works like a charm.
Just got the Pro for myself. I'm on stock 4.3 and it works great. Been playing modern combat 4 and it's great. Feels like I'm playing cod just a slight lag. Also works great for emulators as it has a A and B setting for the controller. Havent had any issues controller battery last quite long.

Cool, thanks for all the responses, should be ordering one soon!
Got the MOGA Hero Power (charges your phone while playing) and loving it. It works really well and feels great. Playing the old school Super Mario.
