Scrollable Bookmark Widget (Found) - Android Apps and Games

Hi. I'm looking for a scrollable bookmark widget for a long time (about a year) but I can't find something like that somehow.
I don't understand why there isn't. Is it so hard to make or doesn't Android support that?
Btw, I don't want to use LauncherPro.
-----------
Edit: App's name is Colorize. It's free and you can find in Market by searching ''colorize''.
Thanks to AquaeAtrae and developer

Would love to see a widget like that as well

Upssss!!

I believe Colorize may have a good widget for you. I prefer it's Facebook and Twitter widgets over all others.
I've posted a collection of all scrollable widgets in the Themes forum if you want to see and compare what the various widgets look like...

Launcher pro plus has a good one

Thanks a lot. That's what I've been looking for. Great widget. But it needs a new name to be found easily

Agreed. I'm sure it has, like so many Android projects, grown far beyond its initial design. It really has outgrown its name; I only found it because I was searching for EVERY scrollable widget out there. I was quite surprised when I found decent sized thumbnails in its social feed widgets--something I'd been looking for. Glad it worked for ya.

[WIDGET] News/RSS Scrollable for Froyo

I'm coming from using the desire rom and I find the news widget it has functional and useable. Its nice, customizable and scrollable. I use it to get updates from engadget and gizmodo, but coming to froyo I can't find anything even remotely comparable. I can't believe there's no simple clean 4x4 capable & scrollable widgets out there. I've searched and haven't found any so I'm asking if anyone here knows of any that's good and compatible with Froyo or even a way to use the HTC news widget outside of sense ui.
Thanks in advance.

you do realize, of course, that need you need a special home replacement to do scrollable widgets? Hmm? ADW or home++ blah blah. Anyway, the only ones that scroll are the pure messenger and pure calendar and a dumb bookmark one. Unless I'm missing one, anyone?
ps you're right that would be awesome, i'm surprised no one has started making more scrollable widgets for the new launchers. Francois Deslandes is the man, I guess.
Thanks for the reply, but does pure messenger do rss though?
no rss. it does email, facebook, twitter and sms

[WIDGET] Anyone Have LauncherPro Plus?

Can anyone take a screenshot of the LauncherPro Plus Calendar widget?
I wouldn't use any of the other widgets except for the Calendar widget, which of course is the only widget that isn't pictured on launcherpro.com for some odd reason...
You can see it in this screen shot from the "Post your Screen Shot" thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7699486&postcount=2817
The main reason I got LP Plus was that you can resize all widgets. Since I got the pro version, I've found that nearly every widget I use is better after resizing.
This is the LPP calendar widget resized to be one row shorter, then the stock longer version. There are actually two sizes to choose from, the other is full screen 4x4, but I don't know why there are two sizes since you can resize them just the same.
I say BUY IT!!! its worth it and i love the launcher! i just wish it was open source so cyan could use it instead of AWD... nothing against it but i like LP Pro more...
Features for calender: You can scroll up and down to different months
add events right on the widget
View events on the widgets.
Not to mention they look very nice.
And on LPPro the resizing of widgets is definitely a plus. The 4x3 Touiter widget looks very, very nice when made resized 4x4.
Great feature.
Agenda-screenshot
Am I correct in assuming there's a agenda-style view (listing upcoming events) for the LPP calendar widget? If so, is there a screenshot of that view floating around?
Thanks
Thanks for the pictures.
Can you do an Agenda-style calendar widget? (ie showing the events rather than the month-view)

Hah, posted while I was posting.
Isn't there a thread for Launcher pro already?
Then again threads keep getting buried.

yes, there is an agenda view for each event.
took this from the 'post your screen shots' thread as I'm too lazy to take a screen myself...
pressing the '+' buttons allows you to add an event and the other icon allows you to switch from month view to the event view.
Excuse my insane 'Paint' Skillz.
and then click on the little "Calendar" icon while on agenda mode to switch back.
Thanks for the screenshots and videos everyone, it was just enough to push me over the edge

It really is, and please, pay for the app.
This dev has given the app EVERYTHING he has and has made it, imo, the best launcher available for any Android device. No only will you get the updates right away, including new upcoming widgets, but you'll be helping out a cool dude.

yes i have, but very very bad
I purchased LauncherPro Plus because I really liked the launcher itself. After that I found out about the agenda widget. It instantly became my favourite!
Thanks all, purchased
i bought this as well. the only downside i find is that there is an upper limit of stuff you can have on all your screens before the helicopter view simply fails to redraw at all. i've gotten around the 5/6 screens of icons and widgets, and no matter how i add things in a different way, that 7th screen crosses some invisible threshold and it cant display smoothly in pinch to zoom.
Well worth the $3 in my opinion. Has made running a non Sense ROM way more appealing to the point where I haven't flashed a Desire port in ages. CM6 Nightlies + LPPro is a great combo.
@SeEsAw12 Where did you get those android dock icons?

Just found out how awesome puregrid calendar is

I'm sure plenty of folks are using this already, but I just found a most excellent feature in the puregrid calendar widget that I wish I had known about sooner. I had thought LP's calendar widget and the puregrid calendar widget were just substitutes for the sense widget, but this just makes puregrid superior!
I've never seen a screenshot showing PureGrid's "Timelines" feature, so I just thought I would throw it out there for the benefit of others...
Nice

Back again, just tried business calender beta. Nice app. but in my opinion Jorte is much better: more readable textiel in week view for example.
Pure Calender Widget
Pure Calender Widget, costs about € 0,79, but it works nice, very much functions, sizes, etc. I'm working with it for a long time now, and the dev is answering and trying to help if something comes up...

I've used Smooth Calendar for over a year because it's simple and looks good. I just recently switched to Jorte for something different and I like the layout of both the app and widget so far.

My favorite is colorize widget. It has an agenda widget just like sense and also has facebook and twitter widgets similar to the friends stream in sense. Best of all its free.

Jorte by far.. LOVE the look and teh fact it has just about every widget size you can imagine
Android Agenda Widget is a nice scrollable agenda widget. It has a mind-boggling array of settings and potential customizations to make it look just how you want.
Jorge gets my vote. Great Widgets and settings.
sent from my iBRANT.
working on jorte
i found jorte to be giving too many options to customize, which suits every screen
Do you have .apk file for Jorte?
edit: ok now ive got .apk file thanks you

Really nice, hadn't found about this one yet
I like Pure Grid Calendar Widget for a nice customisable calendar style widget. The only thing that would make it better is if you could switch between an agenda view and calendar, like the Launcher Pro Plus widget.
Oh yeah, and it costs €1.49

[Q] Can anyone identify the widgets used in this photo?

MaximumPC.com had an article titled "10 Things Android Does Better Than iPhone OS" which has a photo of one device listed under #8 and I would love to have these individual widgets shown in the photo, but I after several hours on the Android Marketplace I have not found them. If anyone knows their name I would be very grateful.
I am too new so I can not link to the photo, but here is the article and the photo I am asking about is on page 2, under sub-title "Android Lets You Change Your Settings Faster"
w w w.maximumpc.com/article/features/10_things_android_does_better_iphone_os?page=0,1
**NOTE** You have to remove the spaces from the "w w w" above. This forum will not allow me to post an actual link to the photo or the article in question.

That might be it, but none of their sample pics show the toggles other than "On/Off". I do like their clocks though...might buy it just for that.
Thanks for the response!
