I want to buy a wp7 devices, but is 8GB enough of space for quite a bit apps? And a few songs? Or should I buy a 16GB devices? What do you recommend?

Apps don't need that much of space. Media files are the ones that take a lot of space.

ok kinda understood the conversation. Personally, i'd go with a higher capacity device "just in case". True, it's mostly videos that take up space but still, i'd prefer a higher capacity device. 16gb would be the sweet spot for me

That is exactly what I am thinking.
Personally, I have never filled the 8Gb on my Omnia. But I only ever install one Xbox Live game at a time.
If you are planning to watch videos on your device, get a 16Gb device - or one that can be upgradable via SD card anyway. When you have Music, Videos, Games & Apps all in there, 8Gb is a push. It can be done, but you will be adding/removing stuff more than you'd probably want to.
In sort, 8Gb is good for Music, Games & Apps - 16Gb is good for Video too.
I would say it depends on your usage. If you stream music/video rather than storing actual files on the device you will save lots of space, but apps/games quickly eat into memory also. If you were to purchase a handful of the higher-ticket games that would easily amount to over one GB. Apps aren't generally that big, but some do cache a lot of data on the device. If you're looking to install some kind of GPS Navigation package in the future that could easily take up another GB. Then there are photos of course, a single photo now and again doesn't take much space, but if you're like me snapping away constantly you'll want more memory. Syncing to Zune (or the cloud) is fine, but I like to keep my photos on the phone as well.
For reference, in the first day of use I put 4GB of data onto my 16GB device. The wife used about half, i.e. 2GB. My HD2 (with a 16GB card) is now down to around 7GB usable (from 14.96) with nothing but apps and games - although a lot of them are sideloaded projects I'm working on so data caching is far from optimized.
Given the choice though, I would always go for a 16GB minimum (which is why I went out of my way to import the 16GB Omnia7 for me and the wife).

if you're a gamer aim high. I have most of the xbox live games on my 40 gigs as well as just a couple gigs of videos and music and I'm about at 16
No matter what use you make of the phone, if you can afford 16GB go for it just in case. You don't know yet how many games/apps you might end up buying.
I went for 16GB as I knew I would use my phone as a Zune too and I already had between 8GB and 9GB of music. Add to that Podcasts, games and apps and even 16GB won't be enough down the road. Hopefully by that time +32GB devices will be on the way.

A Dutch provider claims to have an HTC Sensation with 16Gb internal Memory!
An customer on a other forum asked if they meant a additional sd card but they told him it was 16GB internal memory.
Link to the Dutch provider with Phone info, in Dutch of course
Many who try to decide wether they should buy the SG2 or the Sensation will be happy to hear this. Although I've not seen this mentioned anywhere else...
when you translate from dutch to english internal memory (Rom) = 1024

that would make sense as Vodaphone uk did say they had 4gb on theirs but i dont see that anymore. Also HTC said it was 4gb internal with 1gb for user storage. I dont see that anywhere. Im happy with 1gb user storage as i have 512mb on my partition for desire and its more than enough.
16 gig internal sd card yes... 16 gig internal memory no !
He probably thought that the sd-card goes inside the phone, so it's internal.
If there is a 16gb version of this phone, then HTC would have announced it in April.
Comes with free 16GB SD card?

My guess is that all vodafone partners will have the version with the poor internal memory, while all the others will have the bigger memory. It was already like this with htc magic and I was SOOOOOOOO pissed.
Is SFR a vodafone partner? Do they also start sell the unit mid-may?

A 16gb Sensation would probably end up similar to the 16gb Samsung as far as what's available for users. Isn't the regular "1gb" Sensation 4gb with 3gb going to the system and 1gb leftover? If so, then a 16gb Sensation would be 13gb available to users. And less than that if we count formatting losses.
Apparently, Samsung have lied. What they've done is tell us it's 16gb, but they've included RAM, ROM, and apps space in that 16gb. Here's the breakdown:
available to users: 11.5gb
RAM: 1gb
ROM: 1gb
Apps space: 1.5gb
That adds up to a total of 15.5gb. It seems reasonable that the other 500mb would be for formatting.
Mobile phone last ram hardware is broken,I changed a 1G ram hardware. So which master can help me modify identifiable ram? Thanks a lot.
You already posted about it.
It's useless. How could you change ram to 1gb? It's absurd. Did you weld it in??
Linux kernel usually has no static parameters for ram size. It queries the hatrdware directly.
If the hardware reports X it would not be wise altering it to Y.
And.. are you sure you're not talking about your sdcard? Changing Ram sound like a lot (lots of lot) work.
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using xda premium
Use M2SD with rmount if you've got an EXT4 partition although I feel that the internal 1GB data memory is fine.
However if you're actually on about Ram, I think 1GB swap is OTT. 256mb is more than enough.
But if you're on about 1GB RAM, could I just ask where you got your flash chip from? I'm assuming you've actually gone through the sophisticated process of soldering in a new ram chip. If so then you'd have a lot of reverse engineering to do on a driver level as you'll need full source code.
And if you're just trolling just do yourself a favour and not bother creating more threads

I'm very disappointed that despite having a phone capable of 120hz, I can't even access the highest frame rate setting in COD Mobile, it only let's me set it to Max frame rate and not Ultra. I know the game isn't optimized to our new chip yet but does anyone have any tips or tricks to help the game performance better? I get frame drops and it's not as smooth as it should be.
Or are we doomed?
Please don't respond by telling me to buy a gaming phone.
The game just needs to be updated to utilise the full power of this phone - so far, Clash of Clans is the only one I know of that has been (which is ridiculous really, it doesn't need 120fps but has it!)

None.Whether the game has 90 or 120FPS is up to the developer.
You still have the emulator to achieve 120.
