I have used Kongregate to play games on my computer for over a year now, but this app seems to work great. Browse up to 300 of their flash based games with the option to download them to your SD card for play without 3g coverage or WiFi.

i've figured out how to get that special car in asphalt 5
This is my first thread, so please don't bother if i place some files somewere else.
Normally, you should get the car if you completed all challenges for the trophies. But on some versions, you have to get 34 cars which is Not completable!. There are only 33 cars included the special car. I've installed evry version and i wrote my notes down on paper.

First of all, i've done it on my sgs so i don't think any tabs are confrontated with this problem. And if you completed the game, well sorry for you but you have to start over. if you know how to copy you save data, then it's no problem but i recommend that you start over. lol
The fist steps you wanna do is get ashpalt version 3.1.9 and 3.2.2. if i'm right, then it doesn't matter on which phone you play these versions.
The 2 versions will be added in my thread, i just don't know where lol.
Step 1:
install version 3.1.9 and let it download the sd files over wifi or download it. You will note that you can play multiplayer and online. version 3.1.9 is the only version i know where you can play online.
What you will do is play an online match; you have to win 1 race.
then click right-above or left-above on the G of gameloft.
Login with your acount if you have one (if not, make one )
click on asphalt and you will see that you have the trophie from winning 1 race online. now close asphalt and delete version 3.1.9.
Step 2:
now install version 3.2.2 and let it download the sd files over wifi or download it. Now you have to gain all the other trophies on this version and after you beat the game, click again on right-above or left-above on the G from gameloft. You will see that you have all the trophies. Because you have all the trophies now, you have to get the special car, cuz i have it too.
Why i made this tread is because of version 3.1.9. again, it's the only version i know where it's avalible to play online which make it possible to get the trophie of online racing.
Why i want you to get asphalt ver 3.2.2 is because on this version, it's possible to gain all the trophies and this version is not a fake asphalt 5 like some versions are.

I noticed that it has a TON of 1 stars for crashing and simply not running on a lot of devices, has anyone had any success with it yet, and if so what phone are you using?
Not for me. Opens the splash screen, says 'License Start', and then closes. I can't get a refund now either because I refunded it once so I could try installing it again, but it still doesn't work and now I'm stuck with it.

download the missing files from the internet (just use google) and put them in the right folder on the internal sd card.. The downloader used in the game doesn't download all the necessary files for some reason.. The game itself is really fun and just like any other worms game. Best game for android for me
Works great for on my phone.
Just tried Super Street Fighter 2 and it works flawless on my play. The biggest plus is the save state feature. My play just keeps geeting better....

trying to get this to run on the leaked ICS rom , I guess it isn't compatible yet , keep getting an error when I try to open a ROM , ERROR: File not found or CRC32 not correct "GFX1"
Im downloading the roms directly through the app, and no joy.
EDIT: Just got it to work, grabbed the rom from another site , had to double check the size of the file and it worked.
yeah you must not give up. you have to find the right rom that works with this emulator. some roms are just clones. Has anyone found a working copy of street fighter 3?
So far I got Marvel vs Capcom, Street fighter Alpha 2, Xmen Children of Atom, Xmen vs street fighter, and Alien vs Predator working

What you need to do is get an emulator (an application that does what the original console/system would do, "emulating it") from the Android Market or grab some of these ones (they work well): http://apps.tigerplay.info/, copy the APK ("installer") to the phone's SD card, then use a file explorer to navigate to and install the emulator.
The other thing you need is the ROM, which is a dump of the game/content for a system. It's not legal to post them here but google can help with this, SNES ROMs end in .SMC for example, CPS (the Capcom games mentioned here) have a lot of files and the emulators just open up the .zip they come in (keeps things more organised), Gameboy Advance .GBA, Nintendo NES .NES.
Try googling "Super Mario World ROM" for example (being wary of dodgy sites) or if you know BitTorrent then you can usually get packs containing every ROM for the system.
Generally what you'll do is put the ROMs in a folder on the phones SD card, open the emulator and browse to the ROMs folder and open a ROM. Because the Xperia Play has hardware buttons you should turn off the on-screen overlay/buttons because you'll have actual buttons you can use, then go to map the buttons to the buttons on the controller.
Some emulator's you'll need to play with the graphics or frameskipping settings to get them running smoothly.

I’ve been playing Forge of Empires on the PC and last week I thought to try playing it on my phone (Samsung S3 Android 4.1.2 stock rooted) as well.
But when I tried to start the game I get the message that it needs Flash player 11.7, which of course, Android does not have.
So I’ve been looking for a workaround. What I’ve found and tried so far is:
1. Install the latest version of Flash for Android 11.1XX, no luck of course
2. Use a Cloud browser (tried Dolphin and Maxthon), it gives the message it needs Flash 11.5 and not 11.7, but still doesn’t work
3. Use adobe air, no luck
A friend of mine mentioned I might update to KitKat and then try to use a hacked version of Android along with the Dolphin browser found on this forum, but I’m not really up for updating to Kitkat right now.
Not unless someone knows for sure that 1. KitKat works ok on a Sumsung S3 and 2. The game works when using flash on Kitkat
Does anyone have an idea on how to either get Flash 11.7 (or a newer version) on my phone, or make the game think that I have android 11.7?
I’m open to any and all suggestions.
I know it might sound a bit silly trying everything to see if you can get a certain game running on your phone, but the thing is, it’s not about the game anymore, now it’s about finding out if I’ve really done all that can be done.
Any advise would be appreciated.

While browsing around the net, I've stumbled upon an article, saying that Fishlabs have released their game, Galaxy on Fire 2, optimized for Xperia Play. And how, not only it was XPO, but they've also thrown in Valkyrie expansion pack as a bonus!
This was 2 years ago and it was version 1.0.4.9. I've looked around for this version... but it's gone. Like, everywhere. Google App Store only offers Galaxy on Fire 2 HD, which is ages ahead and targeted at newer devices. I've checked it - it runs on Xplay with custom rom, but the touchscreen controls are catastrophe to play on Xplay. There is no way whatsoever of remapping controls to the gamepad.
As for the XPO version, for some reason, it vanished like a ghost. Literally all the links around the internet are dead. The only thing that's left are standalone APK files here and there, but they're useless, since downloading the game content with this version is not possible anymore - the server will not allow you to connect.
I don't understand - what's the point? It's not even piracy - the game is FREEWARE. Why would anyone go to such effort to delete the only version optimized for this device? Fishlabs got a deal with Sony to help in killing Xperia Play?
Anyways... What do you think? Is there still hope for playing this game on Xplay?
yeah, it's sad the support and old files for our (almost) retired xplay are slowly vanishing from the internet.
I just took a look on my backup and saw i still have the "data" folder, its named "Android\data\net.fishlabs.GalaxyonFire2\files\GOF2\GalaxyonFire2Valkyrie20111114"
something like 240mo is not biggie, if you want i can upload it for you somewhere.
