So because I am addicted to my machine and I am hopelessly looking for cool new games and stuff. I went and bought Machines at War, however... it didn't fill up the bottom of the screen, so I wrote Isotope 244 and complained. They directed me to their patch page, so follow their instructions and install the patch and we can now play this game! YAI!

**Update** - [10:20AM - 2010-06-24 - Tokyo Time] - So I downloaded the latest version of the game off of the manufacturer's website and it is version 1.3b. Now with version 1.3b you do not need to install the patch, however I had problems playing it, I would get some kinda draw error or something. However with version 1.2 there were no such problems. So if you have problems with 1.3b, then just use the patch and install version 1.2, then it works fine.
I also noticed on Isotope 244's website (www.isotope244.com) there is a brand new game that they have just released called "Land Air Sea Warfare" it looks really interesting. I don't have anymore money or else I would buy that too, however someone should check it out. I will download the demo, check it out n' maybe report back later.

I have used Kongregate to play games on my computer for over a year now, but this app seems to work great. Browse up to 300 of their flash based games with the option to download them to your SD card for play without 3g coverage or WiFi.

Hey forums! I wanted to try to see if I could get this game working on our Sensations. Now this is only to get the game to work! Please purchase the game if you do get it to work.

Now once I am past that I am stuck at the loading screen. The backup I have could be a tegra apk, which could just screw everything up all together. I am trying to figure it out. Just thought I'd post this up though.
I also tryed my friends backup from his G2. That just took me straight back to the compatibility issue. . . . .
Hopefully gameloft will release the game for us soon.....

I got it working, what you need to do is find the all versions .apk file.
You may have to do some good searching but the .apk is version 1.0.0 and is called all versions. Just install and play.
If you get this working please make sure you have bought the game after.
This is just a work around for people that can't play the game.

Just tried Super Street Fighter 2 and it works flawless on my play. The biggest plus is the save state feature. My play just keeps geeting better....

trying to get this to run on the leaked ICS rom , I guess it isn't compatible yet , keep getting an error when I try to open a ROM , ERROR: File not found or CRC32 not correct "GFX1"
Im downloading the roms directly through the app, and no joy.
EDIT: Just got it to work, grabbed the rom from another site , had to double check the size of the file and it worked.
yeah you must not give up. you have to find the right rom that works with this emulator. some roms are just clones. Has anyone found a working copy of street fighter 3?
So far I got Marvel vs Capcom, Street fighter Alpha 2, Xmen Children of Atom, Xmen vs street fighter, and Alien vs Predator working

What you need to do is get an emulator (an application that does what the original console/system would do, "emulating it") from the Android Market or grab some of these ones (they work well): http://apps.tigerplay.info/, copy the APK ("installer") to the phone's SD card, then use a file explorer to navigate to and install the emulator.
The other thing you need is the ROM, which is a dump of the game/content for a system. It's not legal to post them here but google can help with this, SNES ROMs end in .SMC for example, CPS (the Capcom games mentioned here) have a lot of files and the emulators just open up the .zip they come in (keeps things more organised), Gameboy Advance .GBA, Nintendo NES .NES.
Try googling "Super Mario World ROM" for example (being wary of dodgy sites) or if you know BitTorrent then you can usually get packs containing every ROM for the system.
Generally what you'll do is put the ROMs in a folder on the phones SD card, open the emulator and browse to the ROMs folder and open a ROM. Because the Xperia Play has hardware buttons you should turn off the on-screen overlay/buttons because you'll have actual buttons you can use, then go to map the buttons to the buttons on the controller.
Some emulator's you'll need to play with the graphics or frameskipping settings to get them running smoothly.

huh....did you read description at playstore mate?....it's slow even on hd phones....so my guess is.....that we have way to slow phone/cpu/gpu....to run that game....solution.....better phone....at least sgs2
i actually found the apk out there but it was not playable as game game loaded with mis matching stripes the type u get when u download game loft games...
I even tried chain fire and all possible mods nothing worked...
