Hi,
can anybody write a simple app which will be able to move to screen which i want via widget, i can get this effect in LPP shortcuts (scrolling wallpapers), but i'm using ADW. Is it possible to do or its must be added by ADW?

Does anyone know of a widget that could draw simple lines on the homescreen
to "divide" the screen into multiple "zones".
After using the Simi Clock widget (appbrain-> bit.ly/aCqElU ) together with
launcherPro that enables you to resize the widget and drag the "divider" from simi clock to split another zone on the homescreen, i was curious
if there was some widget / app that could do that.

Don't know about a widget or app, but you can always draw the lines on the wallpaper!
Check out mClock, the XML template feature can do this.
I just wonder that what size of picture that use as widgets icon on home screen?
I want to create my own icon to use for Desktop VisualizeR app , It allow me to use my own pic but I don't what size is the best.

If I install other launcher(Adw,Go launcher or whatever) and use it as default , Does the TouchWiz still active and cost cpu or ram? or it will stop active?
If TouchWiz still active , how do I stop it for more cpu cpu and ram?

Another launcher replaces the stock samsung one, touch wiz wont be running anymore.
The best size to use for desktop visualizer depends on how many rows/cols you have setup with your launcher.
If you setup 10x10 rows/cols a 2x1 dvr widget is 120x102pixels, 4x2 240x204 ect...
I used dvr image slice to find the correct sizes
As he says touchwiz will stop and will be replaced by your new launcher

but Honeycomb 3.1 allows you to resize a lot of widgets now, not all though.
Is there an App or widget that would allow me to remove icon labels/names?
Haven't rooted yet so just running a stock Rom.
you can use desktop visualizer and keep shortcuts of your desired apps on the homescreen and you can remove the labels/names .....
In 3rd party launchers like ADW and Launcher Pro the option to hide app labels is there.
But if you really want to keep stock launcher I guess you could use Desktop. Visualizer to add a shortcut to the app and clear the label then use the icon from that app but it comes out a bit stretched out, unless you have custom icons in a higher resolution.

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to merge an element of one app to another.
What I want to to is use the "Fade" transition from Widgetlocker as my homescreen slider effect on Launcherpro.
This topic is very hard to search because Transition effects usually mean when opening up a new window or switching between apps, but I want to be very clear: I am referring to the sliding effect when you swipe from one homescreen to another.
Launcherpro has a few custom homscreen transitions in place but I was wondering if it was possible to "steal" the fade transition from widgetlocker and put it in Launcherpro.
