Hello,
could anyone pls tell me if there is an app which allows to controll the LED used by Xenon flash devices (like the Motorola XT720) to focus in dark conditions.
I'd like to switch it on for different applications, for example the barcode scanner if the envoirment is not bright enough.

I'm currently using a Milestone XT720 which doesn't have a dedicated LED notification light. It does, however, have 3 media LEDs which illuminate when the camera, camcorder and gallery are active. I'm looking for a way which to use these lights to indicate missed notifications (in the place of a notification LED).
Is it possible to remap one of these lights as the notification light? Or perhaps, is it possible to remap one of those media lights in the place of the keyboard (4 touch sensitive buttons) notifications which the phone is able to do?
This user found some info on how the LEDs are set up on the phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10603505&postcount=12
Would anyone be able to shed any light on this? I'm fairly new to the Android platform but can work my way around ADB and around the system with Root Explorer.
Thanks in advance!
Because of where i work i had to remove the cameras from my shiny new droid maxx. Front camera completely removed rear drilled out and filled with jb weld. My question is there a way i can still use the camera led as a flash light none of the play store apps seem to have a work around since my cameras are missing.
Phone is stock and unrooted
Take a look at the F-Droid repository. There are a few flashlight apps there that might not be on the play store which could work for you.
I have tried several, but would recommend one of these three:
Motorola Droidlight - First party, so it shouldn't need root. Ugly app. Works.
j4velin Notification Toggle - Puts a toolbar into your notification tray. Mine toggles rotation lock, flashlight, music, mobile data, and reboot. Some features may need root.
farproc Powerful Control - Puts widgets on your homescreen. Lots of settings for size/colour/choice of buttons. You can set how long the light stays on. I use a 1x1 toggle button on my main screen.
[edit: Wait, why did you "drill out" the back camera? It unplugs from the mainboard just like the front one. ]
Thanks both of you but neither one of your options work. I think it's because they all need camera permission
Not sure why this isn't included in the settings by default (or did I miss it)?
What do you guys use to control LED notifications?
I have used Light Manager for a few years. Works perfect for different led colours as well as can alternate led colours when you have multiple different notifications. Also has settable schedule to keep notification led off when your sleeping.
Using Light Manager for several years, also on my S7. In Alternating mode.
Works great, no issues whatsoever.
Hi!
I have a question about this smartphone. In some reviews i read that the p30 lite have a led notification on the speaker, its true?
Can someone tell me if you can configure colors (through settings or a third-party app)?
Could someone put a picture of how it looks?
Thanks!
There is a small led on the speaker on the left side, but it's very small.
Using Emui you can just turn it on and off, don't know if any other app can help you to change the colors.
thanks for your answer, i am interesting to know it is compatible with apps like "light manager 2", "light flow", etc
I have the Sprint A32 5G and the screen is very washed out. I tried the color temperature(eye shield) function but that does not suit me. I currently use the app called display calibration but I don't know if it is just a placebo. How do you guys adjust the contrast of the screen? Please share your thoughts. PS: I tried some other apps before but quite often the overlay affects some other apps so I have to tur the filter off in order to use other apps. It is same that Samsung does not include color temperature/contrast control for this phone.
