I flashed back to stock, and I need to know how I can remove the superuser
icon, because I am going to be sending the tablet in for an exchange or repair.
Thanks.
If you flashed a factory rom and did a factory reset then superuser shouldn't be there anymore. Try flashing the 3389 update and doing a factory reset

I flash roms like crazy. Never had a problem up until lately. No matter what rom I use the restore from titanium does not stick. If I update any apps from the market the updates do not stick. Any reason for this?
Quick update#1. Flashed completely back to stock and then rerooted. Still same result. any suggestions are appreciated.
Flash back to stock full wipe/ factory reset from there. wipe cache. re flash clockwork mod and restore... done.
After my last flash of Beans13 ,I messed up my contacts import.can I factory reset without losing the rom?do I need to reflash the rom?
Have you tried wiping your caches. I would try that first also try deleting you google account and setting it up again. If those don't work I would just reflash the rom. I'm not sure but I think factory reset doesn't erase the rom but I would just reflash to be sure it works correctly. I hope this helps I am not very experienced but I flash a lot of roms. I just recently got the S3 so getting used to sammy phones.

Factory reset/cach/dalvic wipe is considered a dirty flash. You will not lose the rom but all apps. A clean flash requires formatting system. You will lose rom as it is in the system partition. You need to reflash rom to try to reimport or you can try going back through setup menu if there is a setup app in the drawer.
Hello If i download the latest version rom from asus and install it will I have everything installed the way it came from the factory?
I cant use factory restore now because I did not make a backup before I deleted some programs. will I then be able to do a factory restore from settings then backup and reset menu. and also will I still have root?

I went ahead and did it and it did reinstall every thing to stock. and you do lose root but I just rerooted.

Your phone won't be factory reset because some system apps are not there and you don't have stock recovery....

If you have recovery i think you can do a Wipe Data. I guess this is the same as doing a factory reset, but you will keep every change on system level.
Hi guys I have to return the unit back to stock as I am doing a warranty exchange and recently had an issue with it. Last time I tried to restock back to stock via Odin using N920TUVU2DPD1_N920TTMB2DPD1_N920TUVU2DPD1_HOME.tar, the unit would not go beyond the Start Up screen (the Tmobile). I downloaded latest Odin, used AP, uploaded it, accepted it, booted but never got beyond the splash screen. Any idea what I may have done wrong?
If the firmware flashed correctly then you probably just need to do a factory reset. Just boot into recovery and factory reset it should fix it.
Odin failed to flash. Currently using 3dpg1 with TEKHD, can I flash stock 2DPD1 (version prior to G1) even though I have 3DPG1?
