Creating and executing a bash file - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

I'm trying to create a bash file, that I can just click and execute from root explorer.
The purpose is to replace some ui sounds, the build.prop, and the home launcher. This would make it easy on me when flashing a new rom. I've attatched a screenshot of what I have so far, but I can't get it to make any actual changes.

Headphones with Inline Controls

I recently purchased a headset with inline controls but they do not work with my epic 4g. I was wondering it there was a hack to make them work. they are touted as being iphone/ipad/idevice compatible and these follow the same standard if i am not mistaken. the headphones i question are the AKG Harman 326
Go into system/usr/keylayout/sec_jack.kl and change it to look like this...

How can I disable HTC Facebook notification?

Started getting this on my M7 after rooting and now the same thing is happening on my M8. Don't think it has anything to do with rooting and more of coincidence, but anyone know how to disable that other than the obvious of allowing the permission.

You should be able to freeze that setting using titanium backup. I froze it and haven't had any problems.
This is a Sense setting under BlinkFeed that you can turn off social media connectors. At least on Sense 5, so correct me if I'm wrong.
Screenshot attached of where they *would've* been, I root uninstalled the plugins.
Hopefully this helps,

Are you rooted, If so did you remove bloat/install any mods, if you did that might be the reason the update is failing
