Why can't I fix permissions?

Hey Nexus S mofos, I haven't been able to fix permissions for some time now. I haven't posted a thread about it because I rarely fix permissions. But I'm feeling curious today. Anyone else having this issue? I have flashed countless roms and still I can't fix em. Any suggestions?

It will say fixing permissions but it will show no log of it.

CM 7.2.0 - Xperia Launcher + Widgets!

Hi all,
I was browsing the forums & found our Default xperia launcher ported to a number of phone for CM, i made a few tweaks (Screen Res, etc) & i got it working!

I have no access to a computer right now & i try uploading the zip using my phone, & it wont upload, ive tried the apk's on thier own even, so ill upload as soon as my computer comes back from repairs -

[Q] The best (or most well-supported) ROM for Infuse now

Hey everyone, couldn't find an up-to-date thread on this - so I'm just wondering... is there a consensus on the best ROMs still being updated for the Infuse? Maybe a top 3? :cyclops:

Sir, all the Infuse ROMs are Good to Go! And they are most well supported! Why do you do some homework and read thru the threads and flash away to see what best suits your needs....word of heed, take it, if you want, attention to detail for the OPs of whatever ROM you choose to flash.

The Mistery of the Disappearing Dialer (4.4.3)

I don't know if this happens to anyone else:
When I open the phone app and click the dialer shortcut I get a blank screen. I have to go back and forth once to get the dialer to show.
(I'm using Franco's r53, if it matters).

Do you have animation turned off in developer options?

Now here is a bug which should be noted to Google.... I could recreate the problem even in stock 4.4.3 dunno about other KK version.

Pull to Refresh Sound

Anyone know what the sound file that is used for "pull to refresh" is called and where it's located?

I don't hear a sound when using stock app that has a pull to refresh such as the stock email.
Other apps have a sound but it's app specific like Twitter and gplus

Maybe it's rom specific. There's a check box in settings but I don't remember if it was there in the stock rom or not.

EDIT: I looked at a stock M8 and it's there too, so it's a HTC feature.
